The place is super cute, bit cramped, but otherwise adorable. Unfortunately the coffee doesn't exactly match the cute decor. I ordered an iced latte variety and there were so many loose coffee grounds floating in the bottom of the drink. It was basically a throw away because I couldn't get away from them. We attended this cute little place for a Yelp event and we're not disappointed. The coffee is very tasty. I had the Toasted Marshmallow and it was great! I tested a few others and those were good as well but Toasted Marshmallow won. We also got a Strawberry and cream danish and Oreo cheesecake. The presentation of the Oreo cheesecake was fun, and both were super good! If you have a sweet tooth this a great place for it. Outside area is nice and cozy, especially in the cold months with seating around a fire pit, stationed right in front of the garage door that has a vintage truck full of flowers! I can imagine great photos being taken here. I held our baby while my wife participated in a bouquet making session. Such a fun experience and unique combination of things to do! What a hidden gem on Mt Washington! Certainly worth the little drive from Louisville. Inside this florist shop is a coffee bar that offers coffee flights and other bakery delights! We did the Valentine's Day flight theme. We purposely asked them to not make them too sweet. Other coffee flight places I've been too make them pure sugar and no coffee lol and they delivered. They have bakery treats and bagels as well. The shop is so adorable and offers a gift shop as well. There is an outside area but it's way too cold to enjoy. The service was awesome and it was clean and an adorable shop. Do not be fooled by the hours they were definitely open on a Sunday morning. The hours I believe go off the florist shop, so definitely call if they don't seem open at the time you want to go! read more

We enjoyed our visit to this cute and cozy florist and coffee shop. My daughter and I got the iced coffee flights, and she got a blueberry muffin and we sat outside on the patio. It's really cool to be able to try different flavors of coffee. My favorite was the maple pancake! They have a lot of choices for coffee drinks and plenty of baked goods to enjoy. The vibe is super cute and cozy with super easy street parking and a drive through. I walked in to try a holiday drink and threw it out after the first sip, I also tried a cake pop that was super cute but all icing. The Mt Washington Florist has been under new ownership since April 2017. I had never stopped in here or used purchased flowers from them until recently. (No I wasn't in trouble) I was having a great day and thought I'd pass that great day onto my girlfriend. Flowers always brighten up her day! There is street parking in the front of the building but I found it easier to park in the back lot. Walking in you're instantly greeted with friendly faces and a warm "hello!" I didn't have anything in mind as to what I was going to get so I went with a simple selection of pink and red roses. I thought it was cool that they let me look in the cooler to see what kind of flowers I wanted. Melissa picked out 6 beautiful roses, some baby's breath, and some greenery to complete the bouquet. She trimmed the stems and arranged them into a perfect display of awesomeness! My girlfriend loved them. They are more than capable of fulfilling any and all of your floral needs and offer a large display of other memorable items for that someone special! read more

Having worked in the floral industry, I am always nervous when I am unfamiliar with the florist...and when I can not see the work. This shop was really amazing with my requests. They had a ton of inventory to choose from, and they patiently told me about what they had in stock. In addition, she sent me photos of the finished arrangement!! When the Bardstown Florist, who now has the monopoly on flowers in Nelson County, refused to deliver to my friend's home, six miles from their shop, I didn't know what to do. It's difficult to find phone numbers for personally-run "mom & pop" flower shops anymore, with the big online companies hogging all of the action and buying up all of the phone numbers. Bardstown suggested that I try Mt. Washington Florist. It didn't make sense to me, since Mt. Washington is twice as far from my friend's house as Bardstown. But I called anyway. Jeanette answered and she was so down to earth and accommodating. There was a $12.00 delivery fee, which was WAY more than reasonable, considering the distance traveled. And, after the flowers were delivered, Jeanette gave me a follow up call. She let me know that, while no one answered the door at my friend's house, there were two cars in the driveway. And, with it being a lovely, cool day, they left the flowers in a safe spot. So my friend came home to find what she called a breath-taking arrangement of roses waiting for her. In the future, I will call Mt. Washington Florists for any floral tributes that I wish to send to my Kentucky friends and family. read more
