The student who did my hair was very apologetic and nice. It really wasn't her fault. There was exactly zero oversight from the instructors. At all. I never saw one of them. At the end, when I was visibly upset over my hair, the instructor finally came over. All she said was "well, all you can do is book another appointment in 6 weeks. Nothing we can do now". As if I was supposed to walk around looking like a carrot for 6 weeks and then pay full price to likely get botched again. I ended up booking at another salon a few days later. For $30 more than this place charged, she fixed my hair in half the time. Don't go here. This is less of a hair school and more of "let's let students experiment on paying customers and pray they get it done okay". I have gone to hair schools dozens of times before and never had an experience like this.

A quick internet search enabled me to see he has a long history of this type of unacceptable and dehumanizing behavior, including the ABC4 Utah news story from Jan. 3 2025 detailing his online harrassment of and slurs used against Jewish community members, in addition to harassing many others when he received negative feedback about his racial and religious slurs and unprofessional behavior.
