I showed the student what I wanted with my hair and was told that my ask wasn't " realistic" which honestly should've been the moment I just left because I would feel like I asked for something very basic. I wanted long layers and not a lot of my hair cut off. I walked in with my hair length close to the end of my back, and I walked out with shoulder, cut hair. The student herself literally could not even do a simple haircut. She had to keep getting her instructor to help her. I have extremely thick, long curly hair. I wish the student had said she wasn't comfortable working with my type of hair because I honestly feel like I was her first client ever in her life. She sat me down and washed my hair, barely even scrubbing the product in my hair afterwards she had me sit and wait for her instructor. She had cut the bottom of my hair dry before to avoid over cutting it however when her instructor started cutting it with a razor I should've ran. I came in at 9:30 and literally left at 12 PM. I understand that these are students however I really think that hands-on learning with a student should be focused on dolls first until they're ready to actually cut human hair. My once really long curly beautiful hair is now completely uneven layers. I now have to pay an extra $60-$100 just to get it fixed. I literally have not cut my hair in two years because of stuff like this. I will literally never cut my hair again. Please do not waste your time getting your haircut here, especially if you have really long curly hair. I only have a video of what I walked out of the salon looking like. I wish I took photos it was SO BAD. Also, when they blow dried my hair, they didn't even finish blow drying it. It was still wet and there were two students working on my hair with two different type of blow drying techniques so my hair looked absolutely freaking ridiculous. They also put moose in my hair, which made my hair crispy and gross and then at the end of my three hour appointment for a simple cut and blow dry This student had the audacity to literally walk me all the way to the pay station and wait for a tip. Like UHHH NO MAM YOUR NOT GETTING A DIME YOU RUINED MY HAIR. IM GOING TO BE ROCKING BUNS FOR MONTHS TO AVOID THE LENGTH OF MY HAIR. I'm LIVID . DONT EVER GO HERE JUST GO TO A DAMN PROFESSIONAL.

I would not recommend anyone to go to school here or be their models for their students. They do not appreciate you spending your time to model for their students.

There are places where the polish is not all the way on my nail and is on my skin. Some of my mail has no polish on it. It may be small places with no nail polish but I had 2 nail techs and so I feel like someone should have seen this. I feel like the polish is just old and that's why it's not staying on my nails good. My nails were smooth they didn't rough them up before applying polish. The nail techs were very friendly and they were able to hold a conversation. They were able to accommodate what I wanted done to my nails. And I loved that they went the extra mile to get me what I wanted. A nail tech used her own personal polish to get me the design that I wanted. They really did go the extra mile for me.

I would have loved more mushrooms and less onions, but that's a personal preference. The office staff is unfriendly all the time. I was on Medicaid at one point and they failed to make sure it was covered when I called before the appointment in the first place. So when all was said and done at this appt they billed me right there. No insurance? She said sorry it's not covered I can't do anything about it. I asked if I could possibly do some kind of payment plan and they said we don't do that here. She insisted no dentist offices she's heard of does that with a serious attitude. Which is crazy because growing up my mom made sure we had good care for our teeth at everything else's expense and they always did payment plans. With all the braces, lost retainers, cleanings, how could anyone afford all that, all the time in one lump sums? I think the dentist got word of this case, thankfully, and gave a discount, however it was incredibly small. I didn't need a discount, though appreciated the thought, I needed a payment plan so I could put food on the table! I think she felt a tad remorseful and made a bit of a deal by going and chatting with the manager or the dentist in the back and said we can do half now, half later. That was like $250 right up front still! With a person on Medicaid... I just cant believe there was such little to no compassion. The dentist insisted on a procedure that was deemed fairly unnecessary, even by a pediatrician who a general sense of health of and desire to care for a human body. I'm sorry we looked elsewhere for a pediatric dentist.
