There is even a seasonally open backyard area with a large sandbox. I don't love the "indoor playground" spaces which always feel so overstimulating - Happy Day is a much better alternative to that. There is plenty of space for the older kids, many her age or a few years older and younger so she fit right in. There is a separate area for smaller kids, toddlers and preschoolers whose parent were even closer by to them. Her father signed her up for an hour which gave all of us enough time. It seemed safe and there was always staff around, picking up out of bounds plastic balls forever flying out of the ball pit and others just observing across the activities. She would still be willing to go again in the next few visits until she is truly a tween.
