I had a lot of fun snow tubing out here for the first time. It wasn't too crazy I think around $30. The hard part is getting out there and hoping you don't hit traffic. (we did, there was an accident and there aren't really alternative ways to get this way so you're stuck sitting & waiting) The video you have to watch was short and painless. It still amazed me how much of other people's stuff I found laying around. Gloves, ear phones. Like people tuck your stuff away securely, lol. It's pretty simple! I'd highly recommend coming on a weekday or off peak time when you can get more slides down. I can't even imagine what it'd have been like on a peak time weekend. It takes awhile to wait in line to go down and going back up the conveyor (that you can't move or walk on, you just stand and let it go at its own speed). Really fun time and not too death defying!! You will not be able to tube or do any activities unless you plan ahead and reserve and pay for your spot in advance. I cannot stress that enough. Super fun tubing in frisco! Booking was pretty easy, it does cost more on holidays (about $4 more). But their website is pretty simple and easy to navigate. Make sure to sign your waivers before arriving, this saves you plenty of time! And try to arrive at least 10-15min early, there is a safety video you have to watch and it can cut into your tubing hour which sucks! For a total hour of tubing we paid $36 per person and probably went down about 4 times each. It wasn't a lot but you have to wait at the top in one of the 4 lines (but this day only 3 were open) which made waiting a little longer. The staff members at the top are nice, they can spin you down if you ask! This day in particular was very windy!! Luckily we had face masks to protect our face. So make sure to BRING LAYERS! They are open rain, shine, snow etc. I do recommend watching the weather early the day before (if coming in from other towns/cities) bc road conditions on I-70 can be brutal! and they do accept cancellations before 5pm the day before. read more

You book an hour for snow tubing, but most of that time is spent waiting in a long line to go back up. During our entire hour, we only went down three times. When I went to the front desk to ask if we could get additional time due to the long wait, the supervisor was rude and stated that they do not guarantee how many runs you will get. This place was amazing. The tubing was a super fun family event but a little pricey for just an hour. The amount of fun was completely worth it. We also had a private beginners ski lesson with Atticus. He was wonderful with the kids and they had a great time. This is way less expensive and likely a better experience for kids starting out compared to Breckenridge. I'm so glad that we found this place! This park has multiple activities , tubing , sledging . They really have an activity for everyone. I made a reservation the same day for tubing. The day comes and it was snowing pretty bad . I thought they would be closed . But they were open , the front desk was very professional and very informative. We got there early so we waited for our time and they have a snack bar that offers snacks and refreshment for a fee while you wait. It was my first time so I was a little nervous . Before you can tube you have to watch a video for safety . The instructions made you feel at ease once you got to the top. It was so much fun . I will go back again because it was an amazing experience. If you are ever in Frisco go to Frisco Adventure Park, you will not regret it . read more

We did an hour tubing on a Sunday - Thanksgiving weekend (family of 5). I scheduled our reservation online in advance. Signed all waivers online in advance- super easy check in. Quick safety video, and a full hour of tubing. Good : Definitely a fun winter time activity. it was easy to make reservations. there are limited slots so you really need to do it more in advance. free parking which was nice and seemed to be plenty for what they are allowing currently with covid. Frisco is a lovely town with gorgeous views. it was easy to get checked in. they had a couple of people working. The people at the check in were very friendly. The staff out on the hills were pretty friendly. they had all the tubes out and available for you once you walk in. They were cozy and easy to ride in. The "magic carpet ride" was nice to be able to ride up the hill. The staff was willing to either just give you a push for you to go straight or give you a spin. The "okay" : the weather today was gorgeous a stunning 50 degrees! Awesome! Would have been a lovely day for a hike. However for the snow and tubing? im not so sure. Some of the girls and other adults were not making it all the way down the hill and having to walk. one of the moms and girls said they had been there 3 years ago and they zipped all the way down to the end almost to the wall. So they were a little bummed. The first couple of runs were more slippy. The ones further down seemed to be where everyone was getting stuck on the hill. Everyone made it up 7-8 times or so that wanted to in our group. It was probably worth the money but not sure that it was worth all the drive time to just come there from 2 plus hours away. If I was local or going to be in the area i would probably go again. If it was just going to be to go tubing, i would probably not drive all this way again. read more

Absolutely blown away by the pristine upkeep of the dirt jumps! Riding here all summer and seeing the progression of the park (dirt jump area specifically) as it is constantly changing and growing is amazing!! It has been such an experience meeting riders from all over the country and some from all over the world who congregate here for the dirt jumps and dirt jumps only. Truly is a world class place to ride your bicycle for all skill levels. Nice area. For one hour payment, I had time to go down the slope 4 times. Nice lodge area with a fireplace and restrooms.

While doing research for my Colorado trip I viewed this place as a "must go" as it was advertised that they had 1,200 foot snow tube runs. I also saw in the research that it was going to cost $26 per hour per person but wanted to give it a try. I booked reservations online a few days in advance so I would be assured a spot with just a few days left in the snow tube season. I arrived early and it was quite slow so I asked if we could change our reservation to an earlier time. They did so we reviewed and signed liability waivers and had to watch a short video. We walked to an area where tubes were piled up and each person grabbed one and after a somewhat lengthy walk, got on a "magic carpet" taking us up to the top of the hill. As I looked around from the top I realized their claim of 1,200 snow tube runs was bullshit. All runs were equal difficulty so not much fun for the more adventurous people. The snow was slushy which could be expected for early April. Not only were the tube runs much shorter than advertised, they were not steep so most people only got half way due to the slushy conditions. I had much more fun in Big Bear, CA where you get more time and a magic carpet that has a much shorter walk involved. Don't get me wrong, my kids still had fun. It's just that I'm the one that paid for it. Three stars! read more

It's not just fun for the family - grown ups can have a blast here too! If you don't feel like snowboarding/skiing or just don't know how, this is an awesome alternative. It's like the sledding hills you used to glide down as a kid but exponentially better! Once you get down to the bottom of the hill, you walk a few hundred feet to the 'magic carpet' (just a fancy way to say snow escalator) that takes you to the top of the hill for repeat fun! When we went (Winter '19) there were 3 different lanes open and I assumed each was a different slope/speed. My assumption was incorrect, as each of them were just about the exact same speed. Pro tip: If none of them look steeper than the others and you *do* want to go fast, take the most heavily trafficked lane. The more people polish those lanes with their tubes/butts, the faster the lane is. Definitely make a reservation before arriving. I had no idea the place would be as busy as it was, so if you don't reserve ahead of time there's a good chance you'll have to watch people have fun from the sidelines. Pro tip 2: If you were thinking about sipping some tequila or whiskey before tubing to see how much more fun it could be - do that (responsibly of course). It is more fun! read more

I love this place... it's been 3 years that we have been to Frisco and never had a chance to stop by to see what this place is all about. If you have kids and love the snow this is the place to be. There are several different activities that you and your family can choose from. Whether you want to tube down a hill of snow or climb into a ball and roll yourself around in it. There's also skiing and snowboarding for beginners but don't forget to can with your gear because they don't rent out gears there. If you're hungry stop by their cafe for a quick bite or for something to drink. The only thing that is a downfall for me is that I wish they had some activities for toddlers and babies..
