    Chicken tacos (add guac)
    Emily W.

Definitely could become a regular here! Lots of variety with style, toppings, and proteins. Got chicken tacos since it felt like a standard options for my first visit. So fresh and lots of flavor in every bite. I liked how you order at the counter and sit wherever (inside or out). Pretty busy but the food still came out fast. Live music on the Saturday I was there too!

came here after the no kings protest and it was really great! i love community!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!! but they have really great food here! i tried the chicken burrito with chimichurri sauce! (THEY HAD CHIMICHURRI!!!!!) really really yummy tasting i loved it! please go here!!!!!!!!!!!

Moqueca (with fish) - would order again and again!

Enjoyed lunch at Muneca's today. The moqueca was delicious, featuring a balanced curry; savory from the curry, sweet from coconut milk, a hint of brightness from lime and cilantro and crunch from the peanuts. The staff are helpful and courteous. Outdoor seating is ideal in the beautiful Florida "winter" weather.

I was delighted to see a full jazz band playing at the Bo Diddley Plaza! I stopped for some grub, and ended up getting the pork nachos with a side of black beans and a limonada! The nachos were good with the cilantro sauce, and it was a nice meal! I was hoping for some hot sauce, but none was to be seen. I didn't ask, but I am thinking hot sauce and nachos are like peanut butter and jelly. They should have hot sauces for us to enjoy. The limonada with lavender added was way too sweet! I really could have gotten a cup of water and diluted it down, to make it more palatable. It was just a 16 oz cup, but it rasted like a 1/3 cup of sugar was in my drink! Be careful not to get brain freeze, as the ice in the limonada was actually nice, but be careful. No hot sauce, too sweet lemonade, but everything else was good.

Cute spot good music decent service. Food doesn't taste the best- just not good but not bad. Would not order again. Queso and chips too salty kind of weird beer battered thing they tried to be different but it was just bad.

I LOVE munecas! i got a build your own rice and beans bowl with plantains and shrimp and yum yum sauce and bleu cheese crumbles. it was DELICIOUS! i had heard so many great things about this place and it was really good. I also got chips and guac which were both very fresh. definitely gets crowded on the weekends but was worth it. i went for lunch and recommend that time.

Great food and real nice portions! Took my three kids to the 4th Avenue Food Park for lunch yesterday. Two of the kids wanted Munecas and this is what they got: Mojo pork tacos and chicken nachos. I tried the nachos and they were damn good! It had a cheese sauce on it that was full of flavor. And we loved that they layered the cheese sauce throughout the nachos. I'd love to say that I tried the pork tacos but my other child tore through that order before I got to try them. But they said the tacos were outstanding!

so I'll start by saying I love the location and set up of this little place. There's plenty of outdoor seating and it borders a nice open area. You place your order at the counter and then they call your name and bring you your food. I got a Carnitas taco and a chicken taco. it took a while for the food to come out but it was around lunchtime so they were fairly busy. I would say 20 minutes. The tacos were good but a little basic. I feel that the filling didn't have a lot of effort to it. For instance, the chicken was just kind of mushy like it had been prepared in a pot and then let sit for a while to congeal. The Carnitas was about the same. I think the toppings on both were the same with a little cabbage and some drizzle. All in all not bad, but I think if I were going for tacos, I might look somewhere else. On the positive side, I got the fried plantains, and they were sweet and tender. that being said, they did have other items on the menu, including different kinds of fried rice. I would probably come back to try those.

There is inside eating but it's more you order at the front and then sit but there isn't a server to refill your drinks or anything. The food was really good, very filling. The brunch is definitely more savory and has some spice to it so I'm glad I had it closer to lunch. I'd come back again but ask if they have a bigger cup for water so I didn't have to keep going to the bar to get more.

I came to the grand opening event at their new location, and everything I had was delicious! There wasn't truly service since it was a buffet style, but the owners seemed super friendly. The ambiance is nice and cute in the building, and has lots of outdoor seating as well at the food park. I definitely will be back to try some actual menu items!

    Tacos were fire!

Soooo glad I found this great spot while walking around Downtown Gainesville on my first night in town. Such a cute ambiance and what a great concept to have a taco garden! The guy taking my order was super helpful and gave me solid recommendations on food and craft beer. He even brought my food to the table for me with a smile. The Beef Taco and the Chicken Tacos were fire in the best way possible! On a Thursday night, the garden was full of groups of college students, and loved the lights in the garden making it look hip but cozy. Creative menu items, good craft beer selection, affordable pricing, great location, friendly service and cozy ambiance all make this taco garden a huge win I wish we had back home as well! Definitely check it out when in Gainesville, and you will thank me later.

Nice garden yard to sit in and enjoy a beverage and tacos. Don't forget the queso. I'm sure it's great on live music nights.

The event said no reservations needed, so we showed up not realizing how popular it would be. The place was PACKED with a line out the door! Even so, we only waited about 25 minutes for a table on Valentine's Day, which honestly wasn't bad at all considering the crowd. We went specifically for their Valentine's special: 2 margaritas, fajitas for two, and dessert, such a great deal! The margaritas were delicious. We ordered the Rita sampler and the blueberry margarita tasted like blueberry pie, so fresh, organic, and absolutely yummy. We also ordered homemade guacamole, which was delectable, paired with fresh, crispy homemade chips. Our fajitas included steak, pork, chicken, and shrimp, and everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible!!! And can we talk about the restaurant itself? It's HUGE! It felt like one of those multi-level Times Square NYC restaurants, with multiple floors and even outside patio seating. It was like a magic trick walking through it! Our waitress, Lia, was fantastic, attentive, helpful, and so sweet despite how busy it was. The staff worked incredibly hard all night and it showed. Plentiful parking, amazing food, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem we didn't even know existed in town. But now I have finally had the opportunity, and it was definitely worth it! Typically parked next to the old Hollander's Hydraulics building, this taco stand has been operating in the parking lot for the past month, and appears to be doing quite well. They now have their own porta-potty, mostly for themselves but I would assume guests would be able to use it as well if needed. Access from both sides of the road is easy enough as well as there is a cross-over of 441 right at the entrance to the parking lot. Their menu has all the regular things you would expect with a variety of meats... tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and tostadas. I went with an order of tacos and a burrito. Now, I have found that tacos have become a bit over-hyped, and therefore expensive for what you get. This was the case as well... while the tacos are good, I just found them to be a bit pricey for what you get. You definitely get a better bang for the buck when it comes to the burrito, and I was quite happy with it. When it comes to ambiance, well... it is a taco truck on the side of the road. There is plenty of parking, but nowhere to sit, so this is purely a grab and go kind of place for the time being. Perhaps as they become more established in the location they will have a chance to put out some picnic tables or something so people can sit outside and eat their meals. I will be returning when the timing is right, as it is on the way home for me!

It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag.
