After a busy afternoon of seeing a couple of museums that were on our bucket list, we were hungry. We decided to try Muchaaachos for the first time. It is located in the Normandy district of North Miami with 2 parking lots, which is so convenient in this busy area. The ambiance is casual and traditional Argentinian food. It is nicely decorated and very clean. We were warmly greeted upon entering and had a choice of seating as there were only a handful of customers. We ordered the Skirt Steak, which was large enough to share. It was very good! Juicy and tender and seasoned perfectly. We picked both Sweet Potatoes and the Fries as our sides. We also wanted to try the Chorizo, which was pretty good. For dessert, I ordered the panqueques and my daughter had the Tiramisu. Both were delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly but our orders took a long time to be served for some reason. It wasn't busy there so I don't know why it took so long. There are parking lots on either side of the building. One is a public parking lot and the other is owned by Muchaaachos. We plan to go back again in the near future to have that steak again. read more

I was in a weird mood tonight. I wanted a homemade burger and not a smash burger. I came to Muchaaachos and found out the burger was on the Happy Hour menu. I was skeptical at first, but when I saw it come out, I was happy to see it was a full bodied burger. I also tried the fried provolone. I sat outside where they were playing some classic hits. They also had a game of Chess going. I will have to come back to get in on that action. They said they are hosting these games on Wednesday nights which is when they have Happy Hour all night too. Checked this place out last night for their Tuesday special. On Tuesdays they offer unlimited Malbec with an appetizer(choice of chorizo or Caesar salad) and an entrée of steak frites for $45! Honestly, it sounded like a great deal and i've been meaning to check this place out. So we made reservations and went over. First off the inside is real cute, fully decorated in Messi theme. It was adorable. There was soccer pillows which I loved. lol Our waiter was awesome. I loved that right off the back he mentioned the special they had and showed us our options. It was our first time so it's always nice when someone helps you through the menu. So both my husband and I got the Tuesday special. So let the Malbec flow!!! For appetizer we got one of each so we can try both options and OMG they were both so good. The chorizo is delicious. Grilled to perfection and is already super flavorful. But if thats not enough, it also comes with chimichurri dipping sauces and salt. The caesar is also amazing. The lettuce is the most perfect parts of romaine lettuce lightly seasoned with bread crumbs and fresh shredded parmesan. It comes with 2 lemon wedges. For me that was perfect. I added a little pepper for some kick. They also offered vinegar and oil if we wanted. But for me, simple and classic is the way to go. It was absolutely amazing. Now on to the main event, steak frites! So the steak is a NY strip and it is a great size. They do not go skimpy on the portion, with a great amount of fries as well. The steak was perfectly cooked and very very flavorful. Mind you, the whole time, the waiter kept that wine flowing. At no point did it feel like we didn't get enough wine! For dessert we tried the Chocomisu and it was great. It's like a chocolate tiramisu and almost has a dulce de leche flavor. Terrific location for Argentinian food. The employees are amazingly friendly and attentive. They explained the menu and immediately provided us with water and bread. Bread came with butter with chives which was so good. We ordered the Merlot Tuesday which is unlimited Merlot wine with steak and fries. Steak was a New York strip and included a side. We both got the ceasar salad and sausage. Everything was amazing and the ambiance was alittle dead,,, but It was a weekday and early. Very confused! This is our first time ordering a delivery and trying their food. We made the order because they had an offer of buy 1 get 2 which we founded appealing. We order a choripans, we were excited about it. When we received the order we only received 1 choripan, right away I called the restaurant to let them know about their mistake and they were really helpful and effective to assist us, since my husband was around the restaurant and I let them know, so we offer to pickup, when we opened both of the choripans at home they were totally different , there was a difference on the bread and difference on the amount of chorizo, look at the picture. The choripans were ok but the difference between them outstanding. We got to try going to the restaurant and then we might be able to have better luck. read more

My first meal out for 2024! At first, I was getting ready to send an edit to yelp that the restaurant had too many a's in their name. But seeing their outside tables in the blue and white of the Argentinian flag along with the posters I'm figuring the name is based on the battle cry of the 'Albiceleste'. Located in the North Beach spot of the old "Vacas Gordas" and its adjacent city parking lot, I lucked out with finding a free parking spot. From what I gather, they recently opened under the new concept. My waiter explained to me that besides the classic parilla they also have a Josper oven and remodeled the interior to place the bar with the eventual plan to up their cocktail game. When I arrived around 8, I was one of only two or three other people since it was around closing time. The menu is a la carte, so even with protein dishes the sides are separately. There's also an 18% automatic tip. I started with two complementary rolls with an herbed butter that had a pleasantly sharp taste. Since there was a little bit of a wait to my courses, they did offer extra bread but I don't want to torture myself at the gym too hard. My rotisserie chicken with a yummy citrus tang came next. This was a very meaty and filling course, rounded out with sides of Provençal style fries (garlicky, crispy and not overly greasy). A roasted sweet potato garnished with chives and natural sweetness closed out my dinner. I made sure to save space for their flan, which was nice and jiggly. There are a few Italian dishes and classic empanada that I would like to come back and try. Here's looking forward to seeing them grow. read more

Muchaaachos just recently opened in the space formerly occupied by Las Vacas Gordas in Normandy Isles. We're long-time patrons of that former restaurant and when we drove by a few weeks ago and saw the name change on the sign on the front of the building, we were excited to try the new place. We came here for dinner and were greeted right away and told that Muchaaachos had just opened the previous Wednesday. In fact, the food menu is still labeled "Soft Opening Menu" and our server (who was very good, outgoing and friendly) told us we were basically the first table she'd served, as she'd previously been working the bar. As with most any new restaurant, this place definitely has some wrinkles to work through and to be frank, my review would've been a bit more critical, but at the end of our meal, the guy who's either the manager or owner came to our table and asked for our honest feedback, which we gave. He listened, then explained to us the changes they've made when launching the new restaurant and some of the things they're still working through which was appreciated. It's my opinion that Muchaaachos has very strong potential - My 2 primary comments would be that, as one can see from the photo I posted of the drink menu, the cocktail list is very basic with really no specialty cocktails listed. They didn't have the ability to make things like mojitos (they had no mint), and when one of us ordered a margarita, it was obviously made from a mix rather than fresh ingredients. When we asked for a slice of lime to squeeze into the margarita we'd ordered, rather than providing us with lime, they brought us a shot glass full of the mix they'd used to make the drink, which was more sweet than anything. The other comment would be that much of our food was lacking in flavor; The bread rolls with butter, the grilled red pepper (possibly using red bell pepper from a jar or can rather than fresh) and even our steak until we asked for some salt to liven it up. There were definitely some very good points to our meal as well - The skirt steak was very juicy and tender and cut very easily. The grilled, whole sweet potatoes were also quite good and as mentioned, the service was definitely the star on the night we came. We were greeted upon arrival and seated right away, and though our server was admittedly newer, she was friendly and outgoing and obviously cared about this new restaurant and some of the areas they're still working to improve (again, after only being open for a few days at this point). As stated, Muchaaachos just opened their doors 4 days prior to our eating here, they're admittedly just getting started and their menu clearly states they're still in the soft opening stage so it'd be unfair to be overly critical. For now I've given them 3 stars, which means "A-OK" on Yelp. We'll definitely return once Muchaaachos has been operating for a while to try this place again, and we wish them nothing but the best! read more

Absolutely amazing! We found this place because we did not want to wait for a sushi place across the street. I am so glad we visited it! It was so nicely decorated and the service was amazing. The food was absolutely incredible and I plan on visiting again soon. We got buñuelos (super good!) and they provided us with complementary bread (the butter was to die for). Then we had the picaña with fries, milanesa sandwich with fries and a ceaser salad. Delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. I loved that they have regular and a spicy chimichurri sauce, they also gave us salsa criolla. The 18% service fee was included in there and the server let us know which was very nice. The food was terrible, the restaurant was empty with 2 tables but there was no customers service, this people definitely doesn't know what customers service is , and besides when I told the server i don't like the food and my food was there untouched , the server didn't try to do anything. The drinks came to my table together with the food , this is insane !!! I was watching him being in the phone , and texting while I was waiting for my drinks to be served. Besides that he never offered our table the complimentary bread that supposedly should come to the table first . The drinks came on the same time with the food , on that time I was already upset, but I have not say anything. He served the food and disappeared again till I had to ask for my check. The food wasn't good and he never ask anything. By taking the entire plate with food back , he only ask if I want a to go box , when i said I did not like the food he said " oh sorry " why ? I explained him what was wrong with my plate and he never said anything . The 18% tips was included in the checks so why they should offer customers service when already everything comes without working to hard . This new addition to Normandy Dr was a hit! I brought friends from NYC along with my partner and I, and they were excited to have such a great meal. Our server whose name escapes me (he was great) recommended we get the cheese and peppers for an appetizer, and it was FANTASTIC. The two together were delicious. We also got a chorizo to start. The table ordered entraña and NY Strip, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The potato purée and broccolini sides were perfect additions to the steak. We shared the red wine blend, cab franc, Malbec, and something else, it was a great pairing with everything we ordered. Lastly, the restaurant is so cute, bar is in the middle, which is cool and different, and there are nods to team Argentina throughout the restaurant, viva Messi! read more

My family & I go an Argentinian restaurant for dinner probably 5 or 6 times a year. We usually visit a new ( new to us) each time that we are in the mood for Argentinian food. We've noticed that most Argentinian restaurants are usually good. One Argentinian restaurant might have excellent empanadas but serve bland steaks and another had chewy empanadas & bland chorizos but tasty steaks. Muchaachos, on the other hand, served us not only the best entrana(skirt steak) we've ever had ( flavorful, tender & cooked perfectly) but their empanadas & chorizos were excellent, as well. They even served us the best ( herbed) French fries we've eaten all year. We also enjoyed Muchaaachos unique version of tiramisu ( similar to a smooth chocolate cheesecake.)
