Nice lounge but couldn't use it and that's not there fault. Customer service was not really good. No one was there but he didn't even give me time to try and choose my toppings. But did find the time to ask if I wanted meat (costs extra) and when I said no he got even ruder. Not to mention he was mumbling and when I asked him to repeat for me he rolled his eyes and started yelling sarcastically. It was expensive for veggies cheese and pita bread oh and so much grease it was pooling at the bottom and the insides where able to slip right out. I think I am officially Mucho Burrito'd out; it just does not do it for me like it used to. I ordered the veggie salad bowl (like usual), and the hubz ordered a veggie burrito combo with chips salsa and a drink. Now I am not saying the food was bad, I just think the spark is gone after many years of loving it. The locations itself is clean, roomy and cozy with plenty of seating, and definitely deserves a 4 star rating. The staff had their hands full it seemed as they were training two new associates, which really slowed down the process of ordering to paying and receiving our food. My salad sat to the side for a good 5 minutes, and I was praying nothing was going to fly or drop into it. The cashier did make a lasting impression, she was very friendly, and knowledgeable and did her part. Price wise Mucho Burrito always leaves me crying. Feeding two adults can cost just under 25 bucks, which is why I will wait for coupons. I will mention they have a new stamp card that they have been handing out which is nice for the Mucho lovers. read more

First they now have a measurement system so that every time you go you can expect the same amount of food. A definite plus. There is now also a patio that is open for the summer. Its a nice addition. My new Burrito stop!! Choice of shredded beef or pork, as well as sliced steak or chicken. Have tried them all a the shredded is my fav as its marinated a little more. The Burritos are excellent here. They are the best that I have had in the Ottawa area. I would have given this place 5 stars, but there was a girl in there making my burrito yesterday that put very small portions in my burrito. I asked for more veggies and she added one small piece of green pepper. I asked her again to add more veggies but said they would not be able to roll up the burrito properly. She was full of beans. It was not until I threatened to go elsewhere for my lunch, when she started putting proper portions into my burrito. Another person took over making my burrito and did an excellent job of creating my burrito. I have visited this location 3 or 4 times and they are never consistent with portions when they build burritos. I guess I am used to Subway building a sandwich and adding portions according to my request without any negative feedback. Mucho Burrito is young and must be more receptive to customer requests. read more

Decent choices in this joint. Tried the fish quesadilla and it was yummy. Typically I'm not a fan of fish of any kind but this order opened my palette...I was afraid of an after taste but nope, instead, my mouth had a party with the beans and the mix of flavours. The meal comes on a metal tray and is topped with really good nachos, and salsa. The salsa is not like the grocery store kind....It's actually deliciously refreshing. You can also ask for guacamole as well. The shrimp burrito is also out of this world. It's packed with goodness and not cheap on the shrimp. I wash it all down with a mango soda. BTW, this is a get in queue and order, pay, and sit at a booth kind of place. A good choice to have as something different for lunch or dinner around the neighborhood. read more

I love this place and am never disappointed! I usually get a small veggie burrito which I can never finish anyway. The portions are generous and they don't skimp on the fixins, which are fresh and delicious. Now, you do pay for that. It's fast food for sure, but it's a bit pricier than your average fast food joint. It's definitely worth it for the quality and quantity and freshness of the food, and the staff are always pleasant and friendly. Another reviewer said: "It's like the Harvey's of mexican fast food." which is really the perfect way to describe Mucho Burrito! But give me Mucho Burrito any day. So... go there. It's awesome and healthy so you can totally stuff that huge burrito down your gullet and not feel bad about it. read more

Not very good mexican at all. Everything comes out soggy...they have no lettuce...chicken lacks taste...chipotle is much much better. And the service is not friendly at all. Staff don't smile..if they are owners they should be much more welcoming. I'm not into posting bad reviews but this place deserves it based on my visit. First the service was mediocre at best, I would say plain rude at times. I mean if you don't like working there...quit! Also, the food was bland and had no taste...I know what a taco is supposed to taste like and this is not it! I guess this place is good for people who like to think they are eating something resembling Mexican food, but it doesn't even taste like Tex-Mex. I wont be going there again. read more

A year ago this would have been a 5 star from me, but lately this place has slid down hill. Staff turnover has impacted the service greatly and the quality of the meal. If you order the taco trio, they should come drenched in sour cream and layed across each other. With Chipotle now in Ottawa, I'd rather spend my money there. read more

If your tired of junk food and want something a bit better health-wise and in terms of freshness than i suggest Mucho Burrito. Based on a similar concept as Subway I find it tastes better and gets the stomach fuller and faster. ingredients are basic for a burrito, chicken, beef, pork you can simply add rice, veggies, beans avocado, and hot or medium sauce as well as various other goodies. Price can run you easily under 20$ even with a pop. They keep the food fresh and with the volume you can see that they always have something on the burner and not some stale food station which makes you wonder how long the foods been hanging around. Only bummer is no internet so technically you can watch tv but if you want to meet people and talk business you'll need your LTE. During summer the outdoor has a terrace but it so windy sometimes your better to stay inside as the noise from the traffic on Innes may get on your nerves. Great to meets for lunch or dinner but maybe a bit to loud for a business lunch meeting. read more

This was my first visit to this location in sometime and now I remember why...I was in for a late dinner after my son's practice and just sitting down to enjoy my meal ( which was simply amazing) but the staff was completely rude and disgusting. A woman who looked exhausted was getting ready to order when the staff began to talk amongst themselves and started to laugh at this potential paying customer. She eventually left without placing an order with her head held high but holding back tears. read more

If it was possible to give this place less than 1 star I would. I went on December 5th 2013 for the first time. I ordered a vegetarian burrito and my experience was not pleasant. I love queso sauce and hate tomatoes. Everything had tomatoes in it from the rice, to the beans, and the guacamole. I asked for queso and they told me it was only for nachos even though I offered to pay extra, they wouldn't let me have it. It was the smallest burrito I have ever seen, and their "burrito sauce" made the burrito rachett. It was the worst $11 ever spent. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. read more

Ok place, but I think there are other burrito places that are better in the city. The one item on this menu that is seriously amazing is the shrimp burrito...but it's also l$14 bucks in comparison to the rest of the options that are half the price. My girlfriend and I usually order a meat burrito and veggie burrito for her. The veggie burrito usually comes with free guacamole and since my girlfriend doesn't like guacamole we usually get the person behind the counter to transfer her guacamole to my burrito for free since it's technically using the same amount of guacamole. This time the person behind the counter (assumed to be the owner) got defensive and angry saying that's not how it works despite me telling her it's still the same amount of guacamole so it shouldn't matter which burrito it was on. Instead I had to convince her to put the guacamole in a container instead of on my girlfriends burrito, basically just making it inconvenient to add it to mine. They're still losing the same amount of guacamole it's just in a container instead of on the meat burrito, just trying to add that extra step as a screw you to us. I hope that 1.50 of guacamole was worth losing repeats customers because that experience left a sour taste in our mouths, we will not be returning. read more
