I feel like Hope (Mucho Poocho owner) is a part of our family... and she definitely is a part of the fur baby family, having taken care of our 3 dogs and cat for 5+ years now! Okay this review is LONG LONG LONG PAST DUE! I cannot say enough amazing things about Hope and he business. She is the most passionate, responsible, professional, fun, trusting, reliable, and phenomenal animal care giver! Where to start... my fiance moved to Dublin back in Septmeber with crazy work schedules and far work commutes. At the time I was woking in the hospital fom 3-11pm so i was able to take my darling Belgian Malinois, Titus, on his morning and afternoon walks. Unfortunately, I knew my schedule was going to change and Chris, my fiance, and I were going to be in one tough pickle; not being able to take Titus out during the day and worrying about his needs and sanity if he stayed inside for 10 hours straight. =( As i went on my daily walks, I would see this woman (who I later introduced myself to--it was Hope) who consistently walked the same dog at the same time almost every day. Then when i switched up my walk times, I noticed he again on different occasions, but wither different dogs! I thought boy, she has a lot of pets! lol..Anyhow, found out she was an animal caregive aka dog walker for Mucho Poocho! YAY! HOW LUCKY WERE WE! I asked her for info, and she povided me with more than I could have imagined. we arranged a "consultation"/ meet and greet of Titus in our apartment of couse, to see how she got along with him and to learn more about her sevices. Not only was she thorough, she is fully licensed in addition to being certified in animal life support. That was amazing. Her questionaire consisting of an assessment of the behavior, habits, and health of our dog was detailed and impressive. I appreciate that Hope takes the time to really get to know her clients, and their families, and takes seriously her responsibility. She is so easy to talk to and work with, and I trust her more than anyone else with our pup! That's a big deal! We love everything she does for us and our boo bear Titus. We've set her up to walk and play with Titus for an hour everyday, five days a week. Even with my crazy nurse schedule, she accomdodates my changing schedule (when it happens) and I know i can rely on her with any future occurrences. She has access to ou home to get to Titus and takes exteme care and responsibilty with that. We consistently get updates during the hour she has with Tits via text message. Seeing how happy he his (whether on a walk just with Hope or on a play date with his other doggy buddies) is the highlight of my day. and OMG she takes some AWESOME photos of our Titus, still and action! One of my dogs is very reserved with strangers and very territorial and I was worried about his reaction to having someone come into my house when I wasn't there. If you're looking for someone who is passionate, caring, and truly loves animals, then you found the right place! I would give Hope 10 stars if I could... Just wanted to say that first. Ok, where do I start.. First off, we have a 4 year old dog - Cavapoo (caviler king charles spaniel/poodle). His name is Kobe and he is a smart little guy but can be very stubborn (you can blame the parents for that) LOL. My husband and I absolutely LOVE our dog and we treat him like a part of our family (more like our baby). He sleeps on the bed with us (actually takes over the hubby's side), goes almost everywhere we go, and loves to take my husband on walks, LOL. We are extremely picky with who we leave our dog with since we left him when he was 2 at a doggie daycare and was attacked by an 80 pound mutt. We specifically said not to leave him with any dogs and we were told he will only be in a room with a 3 pound chihuahua. Our little guy suffered 11 lacerations and one was centimeters from his jugular which would have killed him!! Yes, we have PTSD from this incident until this day (place was called Bark after Dark in Studio City but I see on Yelp they closed or probably changed the business name and closed it on yelp.. Beware)! After contacting several dog walkers, we came across Mucho Poocho. Once I spoke to Hope I knew we found our perfect match. Hope knew her stuff when it came to dogs.. we talked about diet, food, allergies, meds, and dog behaviors. She is a book of knowledge and does her homework (doesn't just listen to what people/vets say). She was extremely helpful and even brought over some information about what we discussed. When we left she took pictures, sent videos, sent daily updates about our home and our dog. She was amazing!! I can't express how thankful we were to have had her watching over our home and most importantly our baby. WOW!! Hope is amazing! I was concerned about leaving my fur-balls with someone - it's always a little odd to have someone come to your house when you're gone. But I was AMAZED by Hope. We met to go over what needed to be done & she was very professional and thorough. She was also personable and easily made friends with my two cats, one of which doesn't usually like anyone but me. When she was at my house, she texted me pictures of my kitties, which reassured me they were ok and being taken care of. There was also an accident - my waterer malfunctioned and leaked all over the floor. She cleaned it up & even washed the towels she used. I am not sure I can say it any better than any other reviews already on here. My dogs love her, including our 1 year old rescue dog that refuses to come out for any stranger, or my husband. I love our animals and we have tried a few places before I decided on a dog walker/sitter. She has worked with us for a year or two and she never fails on being reliable, loving, and 100% involved in the pets that she is looking after. On our first trip we took, I finally realized I found a great solution for when we have to travel instead of overpriced boarding solutions, which we got kennel cough twice from, even with vaccine. Our second trip I cannot tell you all hell broke loose in my house while we were gone. My eldest dog developed a serious ear infection, and the younger dog found a liking to my chickens. Hope took care of it all, so much so, that I never stressed about it past making decisions from vacation. I was able to deal with what was going on and trusted her to take care of it until we came home. If I could have I would have paid her triple the amount she charged because that is the level of care we received with her. Zoe, my furry crocodile, met Hope in Emerald Glenn park many moons ago, and it was love at first sight. Over the course of a few months, I saw Hope around our complex, and noticed the way she handles the dogs she's with. Anything but a generic dog walker, she has a true love for the animals she works with. I have moved to many different states with my work and finding great dogcare is always a high priority. Hope is one of the best things that happened to me and my dog Bo. Bo is a super high energy, deaf boxer. He needs a lot of exercise and attention, and Hope is simply his best friend. He absolutely adores her. We discussed my cats, their needs and the days I would need her...she came out the next day, met the cats and asked all the right questions. Her paperwork is thorough, and she genuinely loves animals. While we were gone, she sent me daily texts to let me know she was at our home, sent several pictures of her playing with the cats and their replenished food and water, and then reminded me to text her when we got home (so that she knew our animals wouldn't be on their own).
