    Oreo loves his walks.
    Leah B.

Lynda and her team are so responsive and trustworthy. If I ever have any questions, they get back to me right away, and I always know that our "fur baby" is in good hands. It is great going to work and knowing he will get a good walk in along with lots of loving. I highly recommend this company.

This is Maggie...taken by Michael. Thanks Mike!
    Steve O.

Michael has been working with our anxious pittie Maggie for almost. A year now? We could not be happier. Michael is friendly, consistent, and wonderful with Maggers. He and Lynda are joys to work with, and Maggie ADORES Michael! They are terrific!

Hand knit gifts for my boyz from Kate. (The best!)

I love my cats with every fiber of my being. They are the most important things in the world to me and I would do anything for them... but that doesn't mean I don't know that they are little dickheads who can be very hard for anyone who is not me to love. My main fear having moved away from all my family who know the deal with my little buggers and their bad boy behavior was that if I needed to go away for work or anything that I wouldn't be able to find someone who could find it in their heart to love and care for my little butthole boys while I'm away. I mean, they're mostly sweet to me, but to other people they can definitely be a bunch of jags. They mean well, though, and when I have to be away from them it's still very important to me that they get the love, attention, and care that they've grown accustomed to and I'm super grateful to Bay Area Pet Pals for existing and taking good care of my Baes when I've been out of town. Lynda is the HBIC (and I mean that in the best way possible). You'll fill out a mega ton of paperwork on each of your pets and your home before your booking. The forms are very, VERY detailed but for good reason, I'm sure. No detail should go un-noted because you just never know what kind of trouble your pet could (but hopefully won't) get into. Before you go out of town, you'll make arrangements to have the sitter come over, see your place, meet your pets and get comfortable in what would otherwise be a very strange situation for all involved. I've used BAPP for two extended weekends now and have had 3 different sitters throughout all the visits. I have to say that Kate is far and away my favorite. She's the sweetest woman and you can tell she just lives and breathes animals, specifically cats. She's super dutiful with sending an email every time she visits (I sign up for her to come twice a day am/pm) and to send me pics of each of my boyz on all her visits. It's nice to see that they're doing ok and hear little anecdotes while I'm out of town and missing my bad boy baby loves. On my last trip away, Kate even went so far as to hand knit little cat toys for each of my boys and they love them more than any of their millions of other toys. Probably because I know Kate made them with love. It was so cute and they now drive me nuts all night long chasing and throwing around their little mice toys. And as much as it kills me to say it, I think my guys probably missed Kate going away more than they missed me. Prices vary based on type of pet, if your pet needs any medications and how many visits per day your pet needs. I schedule the petsitter to come twice a day for my guys and the cost is $33 a visit, I believe, and that includes giving my one boy his meds everyday, taking care of the litter box and feeding them a zillion cans of food a day because these b*tches are hella spoiled and that's just the life they know now. It's not cheap, but it's worth it and my boys have always been in as good of shape as I left them when I've returned, without any acting out or anything. 100% will continue to use BAPP.

One of the many picture updates that Lynda sends to me when Kai is at doggy day care.

I love Bay Area Pet Pals and Lynda! My dog and I are so happy and pleased with everything. When I tell Kai that we are going to Lynda's for doggy day care, he gets really excited. He cannot wait to get out of the car when we pull up to her home. He runs straight to the door and doesn't bother saying bye to me when I drop him off. There are many reasons why I love Lynda's day care and overnight: 1 - she has two of her own dogs and Kai LOVES them 2 - she loves dogs and genuinely loves being with them and takes them to the park and beach (how awesome is that!) 3 - she sends updates during the day (for day care) and multiple updates (text, pics, video) for overnights. 4 - her home is spacious and clean. She lets the dogs in the house and in the back yard and porch (Kai loves to tan in the sun and he can't do this at home!) 5 - she has other dogs that are also very well mannered and you feel confident that all the dogs will play nicely together. I never have to worry that there will be a dog fight. 6 - she is very flexible with time (pick-up/drop off) 7 - she is very responsive when you message her 8 - she lets Kai snuggle in her bed during overnight stays (no crate) I think I can go on and on but bottom line is - if you need doggy day care or overnight or dog walking, Lynda is the very best person in the area! Kai will be attending doggy day care as much as possible. He has become less anxious and has become much more social with other dogs.

Receiving warm care by Lynda, my boy regained confidence after being sick for 2 mo losing his brother. Thank you!!!

We lost 17.5 year old Italian Greyhound 4 months ago. My little one got sick for almost 2 months losing 4 Lbs out of 12 Lbs via this shocking event. He could survive with 2 month of my intensive natural care, but still he continued to be mourning. In the 3rd month after his brother passed, Lynda took care of my little one for 2 weeks based on the results from a couple of day-care trials. I am extremely happy not only because she took a very good care of him while I am gone, but also my little precious one completely regained confidence while I was gone. Lynda seems to be able to read human mind and pets' minds, and knows exactly what we/they need. It was a big challenge for me to leave him alone for such a long time so soon, but I could also regained confidence in him living his new life without his brother of 12 years who always took care of him when I need to be away from him for business. Lynda, I can not do it without your profound love. Thank you!!

    Post walk photo of Pippa!

The walkers from Bay Area Pet Pals are amazing! My dog Pippa loves going on walks with Michael and Brandy. I get updates (with photos) after each walk. During COVID, Michael and Brandy practice safe pick-up and return of Pippa. Having them continue, even when I had to work from home has been a godsend!

Leo the (scaredy) Lion. Notice how relaxed he is with Maya!

Let me start by saying that like many animal lovers, my cats are my babies. Before finding BAPP I trusted two people to take care of them - my Mom, and my neighbor (who is also a huge animal lover). Unfortunately, my neighbor moved out of the area, and I wanted to take Mom on a short vacation to Tahoe. After a lot of research I decided to go with BAPP. Maya came to meet the kitties for a consultation. I have two cats - Casey, who is very friendly and loves everyone, and her brother Leo-who is 15lbs of 100% pure, unfiltered, scaredy-cat. I was fully expecting him to run for the hills as soon as the door opened (as per usual). But Maya came in very quietly and immediately crouched down to greet him with soft words. Not only did he NOT run for the hills, but he bumped her hand with his head! If you knew my cat, you would know how epic this is. He has done this to exactly three people (besides me) before Maya - my Mom, my old neighbor and my landlord (even then it took him 4 years to warm up to her). I knew then that she was the right person. I was 100% at ease with leaving them in her care. Maya was very conscientious with keeping me updated twice a day on how they were doing (with photos!). She made sure Casey got her medication (which she can be fussy about) and gave them plenty of love. Lynda (the owner) is very thorough and professional (having all the paperwork online made life SO much easier!!) - not to mention very kind and understanding. I found the price was reasonable (it depends on what services you need) - for my two cats it ended up being $31 per visit (total, not per cat). $60+ a day was WELL WORTH the piece of mind of knowing my kids were in good hands. I can't recommend them enough, they deserve every single 5 star review on here.

My dog with Lynda's. She has so much fun there!

When I discovered Paws Dog Camp, I knew I had finally found the perfect sanctuary for him. Heyhey has been attending camp since July 2025, and it has played a massive role in his socialization. Because of their unique membership policy, the dogs follow a consistent weekly schedule. This means he sees the same friends every time he goes. It completely eliminates the stress of "joining a new pack" or dealing with the nerves of unknown dogs. Seeing them play in a fully fenced, monitored private farm gives me such incredible peace of mind. The bond he has with the team is the best part. Every morning at pickup, Heyhey gives the handlers the warmest welcome and practically leaps into the van without a single backward glance at me! Through the photos the handlers send, I get to see his eyes shining with pure joy as he chases balls, wrestles, and plays tug-of-war with his best human and dog friends. By the time he comes home, he is happily exhausted and goes right to sleep. The handlers so patient and truly love what they do. They are incredibly accountable and attentive to every owner's preferences. Their service is so convenient; on days I have to leave early or stay late, they handle the home pickup and drop-off without any issues. For the level of care and the expansive space they provide, the cost is wonderful--especially for a high-energy, 70lb Lab! While I haven't tried their overnight boarding yet, they will absolutely be my first choice when I travel. Thank you, Trina, Omie, Alex, and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of my boy!

Seeing my…read morefriends' dogs and cute puppies around, I only assumed it would be great to have a companion in my life. Little did I know that cuteness overload comes with a lot of responsibility and struggles, especially since I live alone, and have never had a pet in my life. In fact, as a kid, I was extremely scared of dogs! I knew I had to get a trainer when after the 2nd week, I started feeling overwhelmed with my puppy's energy and tantrums. Thankfully I found Diane! She has been a great mentor if I could use this word to guide me through my pup training journey. We had two formal sessions - 1st one was a 3 hour phone call where she patiently answered all my questions and gave me 100s of tools and things to buy and learn to build a "puppy training toolkit". The 2nd session was a 3 hour in person training session where she introduced training collar and other tools and showed me how to stop certain behaviors. The best thing is that Diane has been kind enough to answer stupid and repeated questions from me over text or phone at any time of the day. If I've felt overwhelmed, I've always had comfort to know that I have a personal counsellor/mentor available. Diane shared a lot of tools, tricks, and methods - most of them work great, some don't - some do, but not always - but that is just because each dog is different and each dog-parent relationship is unique. I am just glad to have all those tools and information available to tap into whenever I run into any challenge. I feel super confident in my puppy's training and the fact that I have all I need to train my puppy well, thanks to Diane! My puppy Zoya has been sleeping safe and sound in her crate from day 1, and sleeping all night from the moment I reached out to Diane. Zoya is fully potty trained, and walks on leash like a confident yet obedient queen! Diane is extremely knowledgeable about dog behaviors, illnesses, eating habits, and tantrums - and I always reach out to her first, before I reach out to my vet! I trust Diane, and I promise you will also!

The stars aligned in bring her to us because she is more than a rockstar dog trainer & coach, but she is a trusted member of our family who I hold at a high level of respect. She helped us organize our apartment so that our puppy could be introduced into our space over time, she taught us how to walk our dramatic doodle for the first time, she helped our doodle meet a pack of his own during his walks, gave us food, supplement, and toy recommendations. She walked us through what to do when our puppy was misbehaving and incorporates a firm, yet loving technique so the dog knows who is boss. Puppies test your patience and Diane truly is our advocate in learning how to not only redirect his actions but build confidence in being first time dog owners. I've learned more in the months with Diane than I could have ever learned through a book or online. I am forever grateful to her, the bond that she's helped us create with our dog, the bond that she herself has created with our dog, and the continued guidance she offers as we continue to grow. I would recommend Diane to my friends and family.
