The selection for dogs and cats occupies most of the floor space but my three-legged guinea pig has gotten some great loot from Western Pet Supply. The products for dogs that they carry is impressive. If you're looking for a Ruffwear harness, they have multiple kinds. If you want a Jolly Egg, they have two different sizes. Looking for Ziwipeak, a premium dog food from New Zealand? How about a squeaky stuffed shark? Comfy, cozy beds? Expandable crates? Exercise pens that break down? Yeah... all those things, they have. And if they don't have them, just check in with a knowledgeable employee and they can let you know when their next shipment is coming in or if it can be special-ordered. Their cat selection looks equally impressive. They have cat grass at the front of the store, wand toys, many litter varieties... it's awesome! The only thing I've gone there for and haven't been able to find in stock is the white Care Fresh small animal litter but that isn't a game-changer (I can get that almost anywhere else). I really like the small animal hides and natural chews that they keep in stock. There was a day when someone came in with an unleashed dog and instead of throwing a fit, the staff kindly offered a leash to the dog's owner. The staff usually takes a minute to come over and greet my dog with tasty snacks and Daeli (my beagle) loves it. Also the staff can set you up with a frequent buyer program, which vary by company. I don't think flea shampoo, or any shampoo, was used. Both dogs started itching when I got home and they just didn't smell or seem clean. The whole vibe was weird. Although she was extremely happy with the tip I gave her. Yeah, never again.

Janis & Jack's has something for everyone, from food and supplements, to harnesses, leashes and more. The store provides just about every kind of food one can imagine, including my favorite Primal raw food products. (Just a note: I've been feeding my dogs a raw food Primal diet for nearly 15 years and we've been blessed with happy, healthy dogs without any major health issues. The staff members were very friendly and told us that we could ask them any questions if we had any and were polite with our dogs.
