Great place for entertaining time with kids. Brought my 8 year old twins and they loved it! Everything turned out wonderfully and the kids are excited to return

I cannot recommend this place enough! They have a big and varied selection of ceramics to choose from to paint, plus a really wide array of paints to choose from. The turnaround time to getting the pieces back after glazing and firing is pretty quick - usually about a week depending on how busy they are. In addition to the paint-your-own ceramics, they also have classes on the pottery wheel and hand forming pottery. I haven't taken any of these yet, but they sound fun! The staff are all super helpful and knowledgeable too!

Found Mud Hut through instagram, and signed up for a Beginner Pottery Wheel lesson. The class was 1.5 hours long and you make 2 pieces of pottery using the wheel. At the start of class, the instructor went around the group asking whose first time it was using the pottery wheel. Since I had no experience, I was nervous, but excited to try it out! Overall I enjoyed the class, but felt like the pacing could have been managed better. We spent over an hour setting up and preparing the first piece, then once it was time to shape the piece to your liking, we quickly had to set it aside to start on the second piece. There was only about 15 minutes between starting the second piece and class being over. I really struggled with making the second piece, so ultimately I left feeling frustrated with only one bowl :( I feel discouraged to use the pottery wheel again, but would likely return to try one of the hand sculpting classes.

First time here and had a BLAST!!

Thank you Gabe for a great class Thursday night!! I can't wait to pick up my pieces and book another class!! I had so much fun learning clay throwing techniques. I had done a class elsewhere years ago but sadly my items had broken over the years. This place has quite a few options for classes and events. Ironically I had a Yelp elite event the same night right next door and met a couple people there who had also gone to Mud Hut. So fun...definitely need to come back soon.

I first took a beginner throwing class here with my mom and sister, and then later on I decided to get a studio membership. Everyone is super welcoming supportive- from fellow members to the staff!! The studio owner Chase is very kindhearted and always willing to help with any questions you have. All of the instructors are amazing, though, if you wanted to walk in and paint or take a class for fun. My favorite thing about this studio is how it isn't competitive but instead encouraging with each other's art! It's a judgement free zone, which I think is so special with an art form that's a bit intimidating at first. I couldn't recommend this studio enough, and I'm so grateful for all the memories I have made here.

I love this local gem. It's such a fun place to have a date night or just make something new with your own hands. The teachers are very friendly as well as helpful. The cost is super reasonable for what you get and all the items I've made from here last. It's way better than the color me mine where you only paint but you can do that too if you want. I do recommend actually getting to make something. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The cost covers all your items and use of tools you will need to create something special. They do different classes and have date night series of classes where the cost is for two people. They have some more kid friendly classes as well as some more advanced wheel throwing classes. It does take a little time before you get your finished product back but it's only because the process of firing them takes some time. So be patient as you may be waiting a few weeks. The parking lot is a little small but you can find more around the building. There is also a brewery Next door if you want to eat something after. They do something have coffee nights but they don't generally have any kind of food other than water. But the classes are not super long. Would definitely come back and I really enjoyed making something that will last.

It was our first time and I loved our session! Sam was great and had a lot of patience with us! Will return for more classes

Found this place on Yelp and decided to book it for our next date night & it was so much fun! Cost is $100 per couple - you each get a pottery wheel and get to make 2 items each. Our instructor was great and really took his time explaining each step & even walked around to help some of us! It's definitely a lot harder than it looks but we both had a blast regardless! Can't wait to take our daughter when she's a bit older

Great instructor Bryan taking time with customers, super fun !!

if i could rate the experience 11000/10 i would!! Gabe was the greatest instructor, he was very helpful and took the time to explain every step along the way. He was so patient and was so kind to help me recover my nearly broken pieces as a beginner does!! It was a fun experience and would recommend the beginner class to any person who's just learning :)

Tried pottery for the first time in their beginning wheel class, and it was such a cool experience! Each person had their own tools and setup, and the instructor was so patient with us and did not make us feel dumb when we messed up. In fact, I was even encouraged when I asked if I could make a more abstract form, which was amazing. I can't wait to see how my dish turns out!

It had been a while since I threw pottery so decided to take a beginners class here. It was really helpful to learn all the basics and the instructor takes it slow to make sure everyone knows what they're doing. We get to make two pieces (glazed color is predetermined). Having been here a couple of times, I just wished that the second piece didn't feel so rushed at the end and that we got larger pieces of clay to work with.

I was looking for a chill but fun class to take my sister to for her birthday and the beginner pottery class didn't disappoint! The price was great for the time you're spending and learning! I truly felt like after a long time I got my moneys worth since everything is crazily priced due to inflation! Our instructor was SO awesome and knowledgeable. He didn't make us feel dumb for messing up, ripping the clay (which definitely happened) or having to help us when we asked questions! Such a cool place in the most random spot of a large building. All these years we've lived here and had no idea it existed! Highly recommend to come here for a solo class or as a group! We had a family with young children there too and it was fitting for everyone! Can't wait to come back! Edit- we got our masterpieces back in under a month and they turned out to be exactly what we expected! I messed up pretty badly on mine so it's going to be a hilarious memory to look at! Our other pieces turned out so nice and will add a great touch to our space!

Chase (the owner) was very patient and really broke down each step so it is very easy to follow for a beginner course.

Kiddo is an establishment which prides itself in building strong foundational music education. They don't just want to show kids how to use musical instruments. Their mission runs deeper than that. They foster a profound love and appreciation of music at the fundamental level. Because of Kiddo, my children have a proper musical education which informs many parts of their lives. The front desk staff of Kiddo is so kind and professional and Miss Ashley, the owner, has selected an impressive faculty of teachers and artists who are respectful of the children and excellent at communicating with them. My middle child was born with a natural singing ability but her teachers, Miss Rudie and Miss Vicky, have helped her develop and protect her voice, ensuring she can use and enjoy it well into her later years. She has performed in competitions and recently did an open mic event at another music school and it was clear that her excellent training set her apart from the children of that school. Kiddo takes the abilities of every child seriously and gives them an enduring musical foundation. My youngest and eldest take piano lessons with Miss Fanny who is a warm and exceptionally talented teacher who has brought out the best in my kids. They also have a weekend art program which two of my children are enrolled in. It is a class they look forward to every week and never want to miss. I'm grateful Kiddo, a highly professional and substantial music and art school, exists in our community. Money and time well spent.

I really like working there .they offer a free trial lesson as well . Ask for Mr. Daleread more

The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

What stood out just as much as the artwork was the building itself, which is beautiful and full of character. I especially loved the courtyard, which provided a peaceful space to slow down and take everything in. The gift shop was also excellent, with a great selection of unique items that felt carefully chosen rather than generic museum souvenirs. Between the art, architecture, and atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon appreciating creativity in a truly beautiful setting.
