I regret not reading the negative reviews. I'm starting to question the integrity of the 5 star reviews. After what we went through, I have to agree about the inconsiderate and condescending personalities running the office. This 36 hour policy is ridiculous. Most people, especially kids, won't know they're too sick until the day of. They couldn't even offer to reschedule. Heck even an ounce of genuine sympathy would've been appreciated. These tutors work remotely from home for virtual sessions. They don't drive down to the studio. They're in their pajamas for crying out loud! Postponing a session shouldn't be any trouble for anyone in that type of workspace. Back when we brought our kids to Oxford, they had no problems with postponing and rescheduling. But our situation requires remote learning. Going back to parent message boards to find more reasonable and sincere folks to work with. read more

We are very happy with our experience here! My daughter is in 1st grade and we have been struggling to get her homework done every day throughout the school year. Both my husband and I are busy with work and between the responsibilities of work and home, we struggled each week with her endless amounts of homework! Every night after work I sat with my daughter (2nd grade) about 2 hours a night. Even then she was not able to write the required 5 sentence paragraph requirement. I thought there was a potential focusing issue. Went to My Learning Studio and explained everything, and they set her up with a tutor 2 days a week. There was an immediate change. In 3 weeks she was writing 5 sentences. Her tutor just explained it a different way and she got it. It has been a few weeks now and the writing is consistent in the classroom. Thank you so much!!! She's connected in the community and has partners who sometimes sponsor free or low cost tutoring options to at need groups. My daughter started using the tutoring service in 3rd grade. She's in 6th grade now and getting A's in math. She goes to a really rigorous school but has been able to maintain grades through their help.
