The menu is basic American fare, burgers, fries, salads, steaks, fish, and cake, cheesecake or ice cream for dessert. It feels like a log cabin in the mountains... and if you're looking for a moose in New Hampshire, you'll find one right behind the bar. It's got nice vibes. Muddy Moose is another well known restaurant in the North Conway area. We decided to stop in for lunch. They designed it to look like a cabin. They had a large menu and so many food items to choose from. The service was good and it seemed pretty kid friendly. I started off with a drink that was like a mudslide which was good. For my meal, I had a rack of ribs and mashed potatoes; the ribs were tender and hearty. My family also enjoyed their meals. If you're in the area, definitely worth a stop. read more

Stopped here because of the logo and other reviews of the restaurant. Love the cabin/nature decor displayed throughout the place. The restaurant was packed during the week for dinner. Seemed like a very kid oriented place. Couldn't help the feeling that the restaurant felt like a chain food spot, even though it's not. Ordered the Slopeside Nachos app and Smokey Burger. We were staying next door on 08/28/26 and saw a full parking lot. We waited till business slowed and walked over. Great ski Lodge decor. We were greeted at the door by a very pleasant young lady . We chose to sit at the bar. This is where things started going wrong. We were greeted by a less than enthusiastic bartender who seemed unhappy to see us. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The food was brought out quick. We then ordered our meals which did not make the bartender happy. The food was very good but this bartender was not happy that we sat at "her" bar. It became obvious that strangers were not supposed to sit at the bar, she paid close attention to the regulars but did her best to avoid eye contact with us. It took forever to get our check and pay. The wife and I were hitting the outlets in North Conway and were famished looking for a place to grab a bite to eat amongst all of the wait times at all the local restaurants (even in the off peak season). We meandered in to this rustic establishment and were completely surprised that there was so much seating ... doesn't look like much from the outside but it can accommodate a good amount of people which is why we did not wait. We sat down and felt like we were in a family lodge to warm up to for some good grub so, the vibe was fantastic. Our server was attentive and super friendly and it seemed a lot like the staff and people working were family and really cared how your experience was. The food on the other hand was a little lack luster in freshness and good quality as we got some appetizers and main courses that we could have really gotten at any restaurant so nothing that really set them apart ... this could be a gold mine if the menu was top notch. If you are looking for some pub grub and aren't looking for top shelf stuff, then this place is for you. Completely appalled! My parents went to New Hampshire for vacation and ended up going here for drinks. They always sit at the bar when going out, tonight no different, they struck up a conversation with a couple next to them and were having a good time. Sharing some similarities in politics they were talking about certain things with each other no harm no foul. Just a couple of adults talking quietly to themselves. Next thing they know they're getting kicked out by the bartender! Because "it/they/he/she" didn't agree with their conversation. I strongly would NOT recommend going here if you like to have conversations amongst your own party because you'll get kicked out for it. DIFFERENCE OF OPINIONS SHOULDN'T RESULT IN BEING KICKED OUT!!!! EDIT** I just wanted to say I have since spoke with the owner of this establishment and was pleasantly surprised on how it was handled. I in no way want to cause trouble but I did want it to be known that difference of opinions shouldn't be a reason to be removed. Avoid this place if you can, we waited over one hour to get our food. we ordered a burger medium, but it was well done the kids mac & cheese, and pasta sauce was absolutely terrible. The wrap was also disgusting. The only thing that was OK was a chicken salad. please do not come here service was horrendous. My husband's favorites place to eat when we are in North Conway! The decor is fun and woodsy. This place was really busy on a Friday afternoon. We got one of the last tables near the bar. The bartender was our server. He was a friendly guy. The food was decent. My BBQ chicken sandwich was good, except the bread to chicken ration was skewed. The bacon was crispy and the chicken was good, but the bun was very thick. My husband had asked for no onions on his sandwich but got them anyway. We had to flag down someone to get us ketchup. This is a North Conway staple. Service is good, food is good. Not over the top amazing - but everything was good. An easy place for families because it's loud and they can accommodate big parties! Omg! I have been going to North Conway for years and never heard of this place. They opened in 1999. Need I say more? This is the epitome of eating at a restaurant up North! The entire restaurant is light wood. The chairs were handmade (I think). Just wanted a quick bite and a drink. We sat at the bar. So clean! As of late, I have become a huge Bar Rescue fan. I watched the bartenders making the drinks...spot on! Looked like the biggest drink was the mudslide that was ordered by most. My honey and me split the Rueben with the horseradish on the side & fries. DELICIOUS!!! The corned beef was so tender. I was enjoying just looking around at the beauty of this place. There is outside dining. There are high top tables by the bar. Booths and table seating. The staff looked genuinely happy to work there. There is plenty of parking including handicap. Visited Attitash at the end of Feb for a couples ski/board break. First night in town we decided to go to a restaurant after our long day driving. We picked to go to Muddy Moose. We picked right! Great atmosphere. Really felt like we were in a restaurant at a ski resort in Europe. Both got burgers and they were so good. Fresh and hot, so needed with all the cold outside. Service was quick and the waitress was kind and talked us through the local drinks we both ordered. 10/10 would 100% revisit if we visit the area again. read more

Stopped in because it was recommended by a friend while we were visiting North Conway and it did not disappoint! The wait was a little bit which was expected on a Thursday night. The staff was great attentive even though it was busy and very helpful with suggestions. The food was amazing. I got the timber grilled salmon and it was cooked perfectly and the mango salsa was a perfect addition, we also got the king Neptune fish which was amazing! Defiantly something we would think we would find from an Italian restaurant. The kids chicken fingers and fries were great! Defiantly a place to stop by if you are in the area. There was an issue with the kitchen getting the orders from the staff, but in the meantime we sat with no water, no drinks; no one came by to give us an update, and after over an hour we finally received our meal, which was over an hour after they took our order. I get that stuff happens, but the staff was awful. No updates until we flagged someone down, no crackers or drinks for the kids; it felt like they were avoiding the customers... This place needs better managers. The food was fair after all that waiting; we could not really enjoy our meals. This is a fun place for lunch or dinner (we went twice in the week). They have a great menu and the food was tasty during both our visits. The pulled pork nachos were my favorite. It's a good portion and we didn't finish it. The servers were nice and are good to kids (sadly cannot say this for all the places around the area) The food and drinks were fairly priced. Cute restaurant with lovely staff and good food. We sat outside on the patio overlooking some very green trees. I had the fish and chips which was good. The fish was cooked perfectly, very moist and tender. Tartar sauce was delicious. Coleslaw was far too peppery and definitely a miss for me. Fries were just ok. I wish they had been more rustic, like hand cut french fries. I think these fries are frozen. Ranch dressing was on point though. Food came out quick and everything tasted nice, no complaints from the children! Grilled cheese was beautifully golden and crispy, I had a few stolen bites and they did not disappoint. Very disappointed. The food did not taste fresh, and one member of our party commented that it seemed like it had been sitting out. Later that night he became quite ill and was up all night in the bathroom. While we can't prove the restaurant was the cause, the experience was enough that we won't be returning. read more
