Unfortunately, the interaction I had was the opposite. When I explained that I only wanted a small amount of hair trimmed, the groomer responded in a very condescending and dismissive tone. Instead of explaining or guiding me, she spoke to me in a way that felt belittling, as if my request was unreasonable or I didn't understand basic grooming. As a first-time customer, I expected patience and professionalism. Instead, I felt talked down to and uncomfortable the entire time. Customer service matters just as much as the quality of the service, and this experience completely missed the mark. After driving that far, it was extremely disappointing to be treated this way. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others based on how I was treated.

As it turned out, Bucky tested positive for FiV & leukemia. The most kind & humane thing was to let him pass in peace that day. It's never easy saying goodbye to our pets, but from start to finish I felt this was as good of an experience as one is likely to have under the circumstances. The staff are kind & helpful. Dr. Li was fantastic, patient, & kind. You can tell they actually care about their clients. One thing I truly enjoyed was that it is a team of women. No patronizing male doctor in sight that doesn't listen to a word you say. Pricing was decent as well. Their pricing on spay & neuter was absolutely decent. Check here if you are having a hard time booking with the shelter. Less expensive than my experience with Kingsburg Vet that I also really like (no shade!!).
