So I called the Nexair plumbing division of the company who installed my HVAC last summer. The young man came, determined it was the "fill valve" and stated the cost would be $350.00. I wrote the check knowing I was being cheated. The fill valve is a $15 part (per Home Depot). He spent 15 minutes doing the job. Also, he kept dallying wanting to stay in my house as i kept trying to lead him to the door. Later, i saw him parked outside my house AGAIN! I think he was racking up time for the outrageous charge. I contacted the company and asked for a supervisor to call me and explain the charge. I received no call. I wrote all of this and submitted to the WV attorney general.
