We were very hopeful. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty much a nightmare. I was not allowed to stay with my child during the procedure, even after they repeatedly asked for me. When nitrous was administered, they began crying hard and having trouble breathing. They clearly stated they did not want to continue and wanted to leave. Despite that, multiple staff physically restrained them and told them things like: * "This is going to happen either way." * "You're too old to be acting this way." When I was finally brought back, I found my child still being held down, crying. A staff member whispered to them that if they didn't stop crying, I would be asked to leave again. My child fled the room in tears once they were able to get up. The dentist then told me that they would no longer treat my child, and said that no one in the area would. This was not an emergency procedure. Consent was withdrawn and ignored. I have never seen a healthcare setting handle anxiety this way, especially one claiming to specialize in it. This experience left my child feeling traumatized and afraid to seek dental care again. I hope sharing this helps other parents make informed decisions.

A few months ago, I cracked a tooth while dining at a restaurant late on a Friday. I called the doc's emergency number because I was flying out of town on Sunday. He told me to come in Saturday morning (they are closed on Saturday) and he would check me out. He did and made a temporary fix to my tooth which took the pain away. I went out of town, had no problems and he immediately got me back in to finish the job when I got back in town. BTW: When I went in for my Saturday visit and I asked if I needed to pay him, he said, "Let's get you fixed and we can worry about that later. I think your insurance will cover it. Don't worry." Wow...now that's patient care! It all ended well and I will never forget his concern for me. So, if you need a dentist and want to be in good hands, check out Doctor Dave Goodman. Went there today to have a temp filling replaced with a permant filling after a root canal. My…read morefirst visit. Staff was polite and professional as xrays were done , but then more diganotics were done and I was told I had several problems like periodontal disease bone loss and infection. The dentist told me these things MUST be taken care of. I said I just wanted to get this temp filling taken care and that I felt I was being misled. All of a sudden she said that she could not do the temp filling today, maybe tomorrow at 7am. Then I sat with the Business manager and asked how much the filling would cost and it was 3x what I had been told by another dentist last week, who unfortunately didn't take my insurance. I got up and left. It felt unethical and immoral. I'm considering contacting the state Board of Dentistry.
