I didn't know that my insurance applied a 5-year waiting period on this tooth, and I ended up paying $860.00 out of pocket over the quote after the procedure that could have been avoided with proper pre-authorization. I wish the administrative team had been more thorough with the insurance process. A simple step -- verifying coverage for the specific tooth -- would have made a big financial difference. He was the kindest and sweetest man and took great care of me. I was not sedated the first go around as my veins are hard to find and he didn't want to keep sticking me. So he numbed me up really good and gave me some laughing gas. The process of removing my lower wisdom teeth was fairly quick. I did get dry socket and had to come back for treatment. The staff were very friendly as well. A few years later I returned and had the same experience. Pleasant as always. This time it hurt a little more as my upper wisdom teeth were removed and they were impacted. The healing process took a little longer than the first time. I got to interact with Dr.Herbosa, as I had to go back due to some pain and discomfort. He was nice and pleasant to deal with as well.
