That level of transparency is incredibly rare. What impressed me even more was his honesty. I was fully expecting a much higher bill based on the quality of the work, but he actually undercharged me. I decided to stop before possibly damaging something. We scheduled a time for me to come by and when I got there he pulled the truck in, told me that it's just over torqued and did the oil change. We did discussed his pricing and what the quoting process looks like for future services. I think the pricing and the service/ details he provides is good value and I intend to use his shop going forward.

He first suggested that the turbocharger was causing the noise, but this is a car without a turbo. Then he said it was definitely an engine problem, and later added that it was a gasket in the exhaust system. The person who works on exhaust systems says he does not repair the exhaust gasket that he damaged. I spent money on things that were not the most important and that he thought should be done, and still nothing has actually been fixed. I do not recommend.

Especially when you are a female (I have heard many times AND experienced personally). Because most assume that you won't ever know you were being ripped off in the first place. So we seem like easy pickings for scam artists. The elderly also get targeted often. These creeps think their chances of being found out, and exposed for what they are, are slim to none. Unfortunately, they DO get away with an unfathomable amount of lying. Mike was originally recommended to me by Andy, over at Caliber Collision. It's the body shop my family and I use. And they're right down the road from each other. So the 2 reciprocate lots of jobs back and forth. Because, it's a fact that many cars that are in accidents, also have mechanical issues as a result. The two go hand and hand. Anyway, I'm SO grateful for the recommendation..!! I've been coming here for 4 years now. I even moved to Queens in the interim, and still make the drive. I won't go to anyone else. I've been taken advantage of too many times, since I first started driving. I'm kind of traumatized by it, to be honest. Which is why Mike's felt heaven-sent. I know I'm always getting the best possible deal.. and I know I'm never being lied to, or cheated. That sense of security is PRICELESS..!! My family ALL bring their cars there too now. They dropped my gas tank to fix a leak and put the gas tank on too tight. Which prevented the evap…read morevalve from opening and I wasn't able to fill up my gas tank. I took it back and they lowered the tank slightly so the valve could open. Not long after my check engine light came on and codes P0442 and P0446 popped up. The mechanic admitted they put the gas tank on too tight, which led to the solenoid malfunction. They offered to fix it for $500! I don't recommend anyone take their vehicle here. They have a pattern of creating more problems for their customers than solving them.
