Initially, I had the car towed to a dealership in Merrillville as I had no idea what was in the area. After finding out the dealership wanted to charge me $4000 for a new transmission, I decided I needed to have the car taken somewhere else. Thanks to the help of my dad (isn't that the truth though? Dads to the rescue), he called around and found the guys at Allon's. They offered to tow the car for free, and then did an estimate. Apparently when my transmission crapped out on me a few years prior (thanks, Saturn... for your stellar transmissions), the shop I took it to didn't do the work they told me. Steve at Allon's explained what was wrong with my car, how the original shop screwed up, and then fixed the car for a much MUCH more reasonable price. Since I had to fly back to where I was living at the time, then pick the car up at a later date, he was kind enough to offer to keep the car on lot without charging a storage fee. Not only that, but he had his wife drive the car around and get it up to highway speeds to make sure it was safe for me to drive.
