been a minute since I've been here, a lot more rustic than I remember. NOMd: - breakfast sandwich w. sausage. SOLIDDDD. ooey gooey yummy gouda cheese, classic sausage flavor and im not sure what bread this is but toasted to perfection and didn't cut up the roof of my mouth (like most sandwiches do). YUMd: - caramel latte w. coconut milk. decent latte. now that I've become a regular coffee drinker, I've come to realize I like a lighter and less decadent coffee bean, not so dark and bitter, so I was pleased with the flavor of theirs. I've been switching from my regular oat milk to coconut milk recently and think I like oat better, so I'll have to come back to try it with oat. coconut milk can sometimes make the drink taste watered down to me. service, etc.: the baristas were friendly and sweet. full house on a Sunday afternoon and everyone was grinding out, which was perfect because sometimes I get overstimulated working in loud cafe's. grind cafe's are my fav. minus a star for seat comfort and finicky outlets but that's literally the only "issue"

I have gone to Mugshots now twice and both times I have been impressed by the friendliness of the staff! They go above and beyond to ensure your order is correct and offer to make adjustments. Also you can get a whole breakfast sandwich and a large coffee for only $8! In this economy that's enough to make anyone happy. I will be honest, the inside of this cafe isn't top tier aesthetic, however it is a productive good place to get work done.

Mugshots is a gem of a coffee spot in Bloomington. Down to earth good vibes all around. The service was friendly and the coffee was delicious!

Have been here a few times and it never disappoints. It's a spacious coffee shop. Great place to do some work, study, or meet with friends and family. Staff are kind and service is quick! There is a wide variety of drinks available and they also have seasonal ones. They also have some food options available including waffles, salads, and sandwiches. I got a blueberry mint mojito and the maple bacon sandwich with a side salad and enjoyed it! There is a parking lot but space is limited.

I really loved the space here! Lots of tables and windows - definitely a great place to read, do some work, or catch up with a friend. Personally I thought my latte was just ok. Definitely wasn't my favorite latte and I probably wouldn't come back just for the coffee but enjoyed my time here anyway!

I tried the maple waffle melt and the blackberry mojito tea. Both were good, I would go back. Service is kind of busy in the morning so go a little earlier if you're grabbing before work.

Mugshots is a very spacious coffee shop for studying if you are looking for a place to unwind. The ambiance is quite nice. I will say that they are a little heavy on the milk/sugar here in your drinks, but otherwise the space is quite nice. Maybe ask specially for less milk if you prefer a stronger drink :)

I'm always looking for new coffee shops to check out. This coffee shop is located in a strip mall behind Cub. The parking lot was bit busy but they do have a lot of parking available around. The coffee shop was also busy inside, lol. They have a pretty decent size menu/lots of options and some food items. The waffles seemed very fancy and tempting but we did not get food this time. We ended up getting 3 blended drinks; mocha, miel & Birthday drink (April special). I've never had a miel but it was good & sweet, I enjoyed it. The birthday drink was good as well! Because it was a bit busy it was loud. They had a lot of seating and space which was nice. Overall I would definitely go back.

This is such a lovely coffee shop. As soon as you walk in you'll immediately notice how spacious this spot is. Lots of seating and decent accessibility to outlets. I will this spot definitely gets busy. After visiting a couple of times, at different times of day, almost all of the spots were taken but I still managed to find a spot. As for parking, it was relatively easy, they do have a lot in the front. They offer a variety of pastries, sandwiches and beverages. They offer the classic coffee drinks and a few speciality drinks. I wasn't a big fan of the chai tea latte as it was a little bland but I enjoyed the iced gingerbread latte (limited time beverage). The gingerbread wasn't too overpowering and not too sweet. The prices here are very reasonable! Make sure to sign up for the loyalty program as you get a free 16oz drink for your bday :). Overall, this is a great coffee shop.

The gal behind the counter was delightful. It was 90 and felt like 100 outside. I had to get an iced coffee. My lovely date order a Chai. Yes... Hot. Because when in Minnesota do what the folks in India do in a hot day. To her credit... Not like Mango Lasi was an option. What we got was good. The environment has a school meets office space vibe.

let me start by saying i love what they did with the coffee shop. The drawings with sharpies on the wall up the photos of morocco in the main room it has a very nice relaxing vibe to it all. I had the london fog w prepared with all three sweeteners. The pastries were very tasty as well. Hospitality there was exceptional

Mugshots is my go to cafe in West Bloomington. I love all the drinks, especially their seasonal specials. The Nordic waffles are also so tasty! It's a good spot to get some work done or catch up with friends. There is plenty of seating, a fireplace, games, and big tables. Plenty of parking too since the cafe is next to Cub Foods!

Found another cafe gem! The cold brew coffee is smooth and isn't bitter as some other larger names I won't mention. I typically drink my cold brew black, but this time decided to add a shot of caramel syrup. It was too sweet for my taste, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The pastries we tried are top notch. The glazed croissant was light and chewy. The apple flip had more filling than expected. Paired well with our cold brews. The area itself is pretty large. There is additional seating in an adjacent room near the two individual restrooms. The sunlight was shining on a cold winter morning and filled the cafe - such a pleasant experience. It appears that their windows open in the summertime (like a giant garage door). We will definitely be back to enjoy the atmosphere later this year when it warms up.

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Absolutely.

I had a private event where Edina Coffee Roasters came with their coffee cart and served drinks. Leading up to the event, Zach was so friendly and helpful. We were able to have custom signature lattes in addition to standard espresso-based drinks and chai lattes for our event. During the event, drinks were made quickly and Zach was super kind and friendly to all of my guests. I'd definitely recommend them for any event! I also attended an espresso making workshop and it was so fun and approachable! It was the perfect balance of information about technique and beans, and hands on learning. I learned how to measure and tamp coffee grounds, pull a shot, steam milk, and do latte art. I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.
