Ever since this opened this has been our go to cake spot for birthdays. Our favorite is the mango but we switch it up and try new flavors every birthday. It's always so good! The pastries here are really good! You have to try a little bit of everything, it's hard to not go crazy here and grab everything. The taro flavored pastries are my favorite. Just grab a tray on your way in and pick up whatever pastries look tasty to you with the tongs provided. You also have to try out their drinks here. They are really good! I would recommend the matcha. They are usually really busy so they aren't too friendly but they keep things moving. They do take the time to wrap up your pastries for you. I usually just grab my stuff to go since seating is limited when it's busy. It's a great spot to stop in for a sweet treat or quick snack throughout the day. read more

To be honest I was not expecting to be impressed, but actually I think this is quite a decent bakery. The selection is large, and they are contantly replenishing the shelves with fresh-baked goods. A lot of those are on the pricey side, which might contribute to a bougie reputation for this chain. But the items on the drink menu are much more reasonable. I had a matcha lemonade that was just okay; I don't think I'd order it again because you can't really mix it the way they serve it to you. But they have a whole bunch of interesting coffee and tea options. I also had a hot item that was pretty good. They have a heater that looks like something from a convenience store, and there are hot offerings in there like the flatbread-esque thing I had. It did actually taste quite good, but I think if they are serious about hot items they could manage a better presentation. There are compelling selections in that little box. The pastries I bought were absolutely delicious. Again kind of pricey, but the quality is immediately noticeable and I will 100% be back for some of those things. Stumbled across this gem while exploring Richfield. Located in a strip mall right off a roundabout, the entry can be a little tricky to get to. The ambiance: Light, bright, open and airy. This cafe is spacious, with tons of natural light and plenty of seating. Love to eclectic mix of chairs. The service: This is a self serve concept with counter service for drinks, hot food and elaborate pastries behind the glass case. The cashiers were nice. They helped me decide on a non caffeinated beverage and it was delicious. The goods: Wow! Where do I start? Upon entering you will find trays and tongs to secure all the yummy pastries and goods in the cases. Make your way through and load up your tray with goodies. Everything from sweet to savory treats, literally something for everyone. If you get overwhelmed, the cashiers are great at helping you decide. Once your tray is filled to your liking, head to the counter to pay and grab drinks. You can also get macarons and beautiful cakes at the counter. Grab a table, relax and make your way through your treats. I opted for the strawberry cream donut, a couple macarons and a sparkling strawberry lemonade. The texture of the donut was perfect. It was overflowing with strawberry filling, I ended up scooping a bit out. Overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it if you're nearby. read more

First time here! I was wowed by the huge pastry selection!! So so many options, it was hard to decide. Ultimately I stuck to my tried and true almond croissant + latte. I visited at 8:00am and a lot of the pastries were still coming straight from the oven to the case, my almond croissant was still warm and buttery. It was good but a little heavy on the butter and light on the almond for my liking. The cafe was cute, clean, light & airy. There were outlets, and I was able to get some work done. I went in to look because from the everything looked good. However, the service for me was lacking. It was mostly Asians that frequented the place and the lady. It did not seem like a big deal until it was. There was another Asan woman a head of me. The lady at the counter asked her who was next. She then checked out the lady. However, when I was the next person in line. She walked away from the counter. After a few minuets of pretending like she was busy (really she did not do anything but walk around with a towel), she finally rang me up. No eye contact, no smile. I felt like I was an inconvenience more than anything else. As far as the over priced items. The were just okay. Won't be going back for the second reason and definitely not going back because of the first. read more

The first time I went to a Tour Les Jours was in Koreatown Manhattan and the "Milk Bun" and several other pastry items really stood out that's why I was very excited when they opened this first ever location in Minnesota last year. The staff is very friendly and nice. It can take a little while if you decide to get a drink with your pastry. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Richfield, went to grab a coffee and croissant as was in the area, and wowzers, what a cool Parisian/Asian bakery vibe! You start by grabbing a tray/tongs to select from a variety of savory/sweet freshly baked pastries, then are enticed with pre packaged breads/pastries, and finally are wooed by freshly made heavenly looking cakes at the checkout line, where you can also order a variety of teas/beverages. I opted to be boring and went for a pre packed chocolate croissant and cold brew to go, but def will be back to check out the chocolate cloud cake, when occasion arises! read more

Stopped by TOUS les JOURS in Richfield and loved the experience! The bakery is bright, clean, and always well-stocked with so many tempting options. We tried a variety of items and most were absolutely outstanding. The strawberry cream donut was incredibly fresh and airy -- a perfect balance of sweetness and cream. The curry croquette was warm, crispy, and flavorful. The mascarpone whipped cream loaf bread was super soft and decadent without being too heavy. The guava danish was a standout with its fruity, flaky layers, and the banana soft bread was moist, fragrant, and comforting. The strawberry cream cake was light, elegant, and beautifully made. The only item that wasn't our favorite was the Sweet Frank roll, but everything else was a solid Great service, plenty of parking, and a huge selection of pastries -- we'll definitely be back! read more

There are many options to choose from it's a little overwhelming to decide. It was very busy when I went but the line moves quickly. They have many tables to sit at in store if you choose to dine in. I was absolutely stoked when I learned that a Tous les Jours location was opening in the Twin Cities. I used to love these bakeries when I lived in Seoul, and I was pleased to discover that in addition to the old favorites that I recognized, the selection had expanded significantly. Sweet options? They've got 'em. Savory? Those, too! They have hot and cold options as well, including picnic ready sandwiches. Don't get me started on their beverages--way more than I remember! There was a long line, but it moved quickly (and let's be honest, it's really fun to window shop and plan for your next trip). The service was efficient and prompt, and the prices were fair. I ordered a vanilla cream-filled donut and found it delightful--just the right amount of sweet, light and fluffy, and coated in a dusting of grainy sugar that tickled my tongue. I had every intention of taking it home, but it didn't make it out of the parking lot. I also got a strawberry pastry to share with my mom, and we LOVED it. The very first TLJ I visited was like a decade ago in Kansas! This has become my airport stopover since Richfield is kind of a drive for me. It's in a Strip mall. Private parking lot. Clean. Use tongs and trays for hygiene. Affordable and FRESH. Their Coffee cake is my favorite. It's light and sweet but not overly. The perfect size for a little treat. The Almond croissant is second; I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. Sweet frank roll is delicious. The savory dog surrounded by sweet dough makes my mouth water. Wow. This morning I was out with the family unit and we stopped by Tous Les Jours to grab some breakfast. Glad we did, because this place puts the bakeries in NYC to shame. It's located on the corner of Nicollet Ave S and 66th Street in Richfield. We went at about 0900 hours on Saturday, and it was pretty busy, but there was ample parking in the large lot. This bakery is a serve yourself style joint. Just grab a tray, liner, and a pair of tongs and walk the aisles. No one is in a hurry here because there is so much to look and choose from. Want sweet? Savory? They have a great selection, even different varieties of milk bread. Don't forget to grab a curry croquette stuffed with potatoes, or a sublime onion and mushroom tart. Both are fantastic. Just be aware that the average pastry costs about $4-$5 bucks a piece. We tried an assortment that included the two mentioned earlier, an egg, bacon, cheese croissant, a chocolate croissant, and bought a bunch to bring home, including their famous chocolate cloud cake (slice). We spent over $50!! Also note that the line tends to bottle neck at the cash registers. As the server hand bags each pastry if it's a To Go order. It bogs things down. It would be easier if they had a counter past the registers for people to bag their own pastries after paying. Tous Les Jours also serves coffee and matcha tea, and has full sized cakes and some good looking sandwiches as well. Stop on by and check it out! read more

Tous Les Jours is very similar to Paris baguette - a self-serve bakery where you pick the baked goods. You can choose to dine in or take out, your items will be packed with nice packaging. I picked several items and one of my fav is the kimchi corquettes. Its savory and yummy. All of their baked goods are not over the top sweet which is great for me. The coffees here are delicious, and the big variety of pastry case selections are all super fresh and all beautiful. My absolute favorite item here are the cloud cakes though! Items are hit or miss. The almond croissant was too dry and very chewy. No almond paste. Often the bread items tend to be dry. The Spinach Feta Danish was good. A nice choice for something savory. The don't miss item was the Vanilla Cream Doughnut. Amazing vanilla flavor (probably vanilla bean paste) in a sugar puff ball doughnut. DO NOT MISS that one. My husband prefers the chocolate but there is something special about the vanilla one. We haven't tried their cakes in the case yet, maybe next time. read more

Stopped by here for a quick sweet treat! Reminds me of 85 Bakery, but better! There's plenty of parking, they have a small lot. When you walk in, you grab a tray, tongs or gloves, and you select your own pastries. (Almost) everything is individually wrapped and fairly affordable. They also have a hot deli section with some savory goods. Once you reach the counter, there are other chilled desserts. The cakes-- DELICIOUS! So fluffy and not too sweet at all. They also have a cafe menu with teas and coffee. It was later in the afternoon, and I already had coffee, so I ordered the ube latte and it was heavenly! 10/10 recommend. They said there wasn't any caffeine in it, so it's a plus for a late night sipper :) Plenty of tables inside, can get a little noisy, but appropriate to get a little studying done or a small get together. The layout feels a bit tight. Feels like there's less seats by available. People are very nice here and the selection is still very good. My favorites are the croquettes like the curry or kimchi one. I've been here a handful of times and have taken plenty of things to-go as well. During peak hours in the morning, it can be busy but it's so worth it. The staff are pretty quick and friendly. This last time I went with my youngest and it was sweet watching them interact with my child! The ambiance is always modern and relatively clean. It's fully lit with lots of windows. This last time I went at 4pm so there wasn't as huge of a selection, but everything I got was pretty good as always. My usual order includes the kimchi and the curry pastries, but those were out. I got the vanilla bean filled donut, mango filled donut, cream cheese filled white pastry, cream cheese filled pancakes, and the Chocolate dipped croissant. All of them were pretty tasty but I don't think I would get the pancakes again. The cream cheese wasn't as evenly distributed in that one. I always love the cream cheese white pastry and the donuts ! If you get the chance, try the cake slices - they're pricey but sooo tasty ! They're very light and fluffy. I just love them. Their drinks are pretty good too. I love coming here! I have enjoyed every pastry I've tried and I have tried quite a few. Their croque monsieur is DELISH! Its in the hot cabinet so its nice and melty and warm I do also really love their curry croquets. However, I do wish those were also kept in the warming thing. The interior is gorgeous and I enjoy getting my little tray and picking out what I want. I love bringing my little siblings here and letting them pick out what they'd like. I wish there was more seating! That is my only complaint I also wish that the milk bread they sold was either not pre sliced or sliced in larger chunks. The workers are constantly refilling the shelves and they check you out very quickly! I would love to try one of their cakes sometime because they are so so cute! read more

Pastry is fine and great but I have a few complaint. Walked in and it was little busy but looks like only 2 people are working at cash wrap/front. Went to to bathroom and it was dirty like gas station restroom, no paper towel. I had to use toilet paper just to dry my hands. And let's not for get the trash bin out where people are eating the pastry. I find it discusting to see trash that is full and eating next to it. I didnt say don't go there but you guys need to pay attention the the bathroom once every hour, and trash must be change out but not in customers view. And you need more people on cash wrap area. I was just there today and this will be the last. I also heard they will be putting new one in Maplewood next to Millions Craps. I will probably go to that one. read more

Asian chain bakery with a lot of Japanese breads and French inspired patisserie. Hip, trendy atmosphere that tells you you're going to get a very standard product between all the locations. Gives off strong "franchise chain " vibes. Got a couple rice balls and some bread. The sesame rice ball was great, but the red bean was under filled and under cooked. The red bean bun was ok but very average. About what you'd expect from a prepackaged, mass produced bread. The sweet potato sombol was the best. Soft and sweet with an earthy flavor. Not many options for Asian baked goods in the cities, so it's one of the better ones since Keefer Court closed. Don't think I'll be back, though given the price and mediocre quality. I love Asian pastry but not worth it at $4 for a small, manufactured bun. read more

When i am in Chicago this is the place to go to before coming home. Now that it is finally in Minnesota! It is a must go. This place is unique, and they have great options. I am so glad they are finally in Minnesota. I havent try all their pastries but i have try off and they have a lot of unique flavors and different types of pastries. The bread is nice and some of the cream isnt so sweet. The cake i bought from this place was sooo delicious, i would definitely go back and grab it as a cake again. I love asian pastry it isnt too sweet or overwhelming of flavor. The matcha strawberry croissants are yummy. The drink i got is alright. I rather go to a boba place for the drink. I lived in France for a while so I may not be a completely unbiased reviewer but I have visited this Tous Les Jours and one in Livermore CA and honestly found them pretty mundane and mediocre. We have at least two excellent patisserie's nearby. These are Patisserie 46 and Black Walnut Bakery which are as good as you will find in France. Ceres was also good but they went out of business recently. Tous les Jours is about the same level as the bakery at Lunds/Byerlys. You serve yourself with tongs from cases and then take your purchases to the check out counter for payment. I did not find the displays particularly appetizing . The visual aspect of eating is important and is lacking here. You can eat in but the decor reminded me of a high school cafeteria and it was noisy. I had no desire to stay. What a surprise to find such a tasty treat location in what used to be an old Buffet Place. Many years ago of course. My Indian Lady said she would love to check out a coffee and pastry spot.
