I visited today and they denied me because the referral was "nOt SpEcIfIc" like lady, we told u 5 times what needed to be done and you STILL did not listen. I came 40 mins with traffic to do this and you're just going to sit there and tell me no?? Like bro I told you 5 times. Anyways, this office sucks ever since Hanger acquired it so moral of the story, do not come to hanger. When it came time for them to finally see me, the care service they provided was excellent, they have good doctors but it's their front desk staff that sucks. Update from today: *I have an appointment to go to this Tuesday @10am to get my orthotics. Then the weekend before, they call and say "tHe ApPoInTmEnT iS cAnCeLeD bEcAuSe We ArE wAiTiNg FoR mEdIcAiD" Like this is nonsense because I already got the fitting and everything so what do you need Medicaid for??? I will be finding a place that is better than Hanger so I will stop traveling across Houston for a place like this

It has been over 1 month since they started insurance authorization for a KNEE BRACE. As of today…read morethey have not submitted information. they do not return emails nor do they return voicemails. The times I've been lucky enough to talk to a person. I find that there's an issue that they have with the orthopedic office. I'm never told about the issue until I call. Each time I've resolved the issue with Orthopedics in a matter of minutes. I the information and direct information for the contact at the office if additional information is needed and yet still nothing is done. Each time I've them they make up excuses which I know are nothing more than excuses. I at my insurance account and I've talked to the insurance company and they have not received anything nor is the process difficult as it certainly appears with this office. They don't answer the phone. The provider was great, but is absolutely the inefficient that I've ever worked with. And I've worked with as I've been a senior vice president of hospitals and medical running large medical groups and this office is one of the most inefficient I've ever encountered. What makes it worse is the ladies sound and seem nice yet they do not follow through and they are not upfront with information. They intend to omit. Find another option.

First off, let me say, the people that work here that fit your brace are great…read more The people that work off-site in their main accounting office, not so much. I paid for my brace in mid-October 2022. (Self-pay) It took a little over a month to receive it. The month following that, my insurance paid in full, so I was to have received a refund. Over $500. So, I was told it would be credited to my cc, the same way I paid originally. Waited. Waited. Mid-January called again to find out where my refund was. Only this time I was a told a check would be issued. Hmmm. Ok. Called 3 weeks later, now we're into February, still no refund. Over 2 months from when the insurance paid. No credit, no check received. Terrible way to do business.
