I liked that I could get an appointment quickly as I wanted. Not happy with them passing along the cost of doing business. They charge 3% if you pay them by credit card or debit card. They do not accept checks. I did not think to ask if they accept cash or not. I would hope so. Business owners should not pass along the cost of doing business to their customers/patients. Watch out ... the time they give you for your appointment is actually 30 min before your scheduled time to get the MRI. If you are a responsible person and show up a few minutes before your scheduled time, you'll be sitting in the waiting room for at least 30 mins. They are apparently wanting to make sure you don't waste any of their time and don't give a rats whether they are wasting yours. read more

This place is so gross. Just leaving, they used the same plastic pillow no, pillow case, for everybody. The machine had splash marks on it that was NOT cleaned off. When I asked if she was going to clean it she said "oh, that's just from the contrast" I'm like.. and? I've never been so grossed out, will NOT be back. read more

I made an appt with them yesterday they called me this morning to see if I wanted to move my appt up because they had a cancellation. I said no I was actually considering rescheduling because I woke up feeling under the weather. She said they have a $50 cancellation fee. I said even if you are sick? She said yes it was not giving them 24 hour notice. I said the appt was made less than 24 hours ago and she said it didn't matter. I will never use this business again and absolutely never recommend them. No I am sorry you aren't feeling well, just complete rudeness. Shame on them no doubt treating their long time customers this way will put them out of business. I've had multiple MRIs and CT scans performed here over 10 years and highly recommended this business. I've always been able to quickly get in (normally next day appointments), they turn around the radiology reports fast and their pricing is very reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful and location easy to get to. Though I live in Pearland and have local options I choose to drive 30 minutes to Webster specifically to be tested there. read more

I'm not sure if I should be mad or relived, the lady on the phone that called said she had orders to schedule a rectal ultrasound for my kidneys. I even questioned her why. So I was a little nervous for the while week, and it was a renal ultrasound My ass is safe lol The location is in a good spot, easy to get too and close by the hospital and medical offices. The staff where all super nice, friendly, and joking with clients. They have a nice little waiting area with tv, recliner, other chairs and a coffee station. Since my appt was scheduled, someone took the time to fill out my paperwork by hand except the parts I needed to sign and personal info. Check in went fast, I got called back in less than 5 mins. I came in on June 24th for a MRI on my hand and the entire episode was a disaster. First, the TV was blaring; "The World's Got Talent." Why??? Who Cares??? This is suppose to be a professional medical facility. Second, the receptionist acted like I was bothering her just to do her job. Third, my Orthopedic Surgeon wasn't even able to read the CD of the MRI because the quality was so grainy. My Orthopedic Surgeon mentioned that this is a clear indication of the poor quality of their equipment. Forth, my insurance company was charged $2,300 for this MRI which is an absolute rip for a CD of the MRI that wasn't even unreadable. Finally, I had to stay in the absolute worst position for 25 minutes and this is the quality of professionalism I received. UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL I will never come back to Lakeside MRI nor recommend them to anyone. read more

The lady who scheduled was nice. My appt was on 3/9/23. The front office lady was not the friendliest. You also have to pay upfront and wait to get reimbursed when they file a claim with your insurance. I've never had to do that. They dont tell you that until they call and confirm your appt. The paramedic they had was sarcastic. Didnt ease my nerves one bit. The lady who did the test was nice. Had to go back and get a copy of my test. The same front office lady was there. She couldnt find my scan. I tried explaining i had call earlier in the day and was told it'd be ready. She cut me off. Was annoyed. Then she decided to make a personal call while myself and another patient was waiting for her. I'd never go back her. I hope I get reimbursed if not guess I will have to file my own claim. read more

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE! When you go for an MRI, you expect that the rooms will be cooled because the machine is designed to cook you with magnets. That's why they make sure you don't wear any metal. Nope. The room was easily 80 degrees. AND THEY COULDN'T TURN THE A/C ON! No one had a frigging key to TURN ON THE AC! The ONLY reason I am returning to give them another try tomorrow is because this is where my insurance is sending me and I need the test done PDQ. The office manager was completely useless! The tech was nice and she explained how they were not allowed to adjust the temperature. It is sadistic to expect your patients to sit for an hour past their appointment time first and then try to bake them for half an hour when they cannot move inside a machine designed to cook them. It IS UNCONSCIONABLE! Not to mention it causes more breakdowns with the expensive machinery. But this is RIDICULOUS! And then the office manager ignored me. Which ticked me off more. read more

My 80 yo father went in for an MRI that was confirmed twice the days prior and was told how much he has to pay etc etc. Well, on the day of his appointment, The Front Desk lady named CEDA was EXTREMELY RUDE and dismissed my 80yo father and point blank told him, " I will not help you!" She had his name wrong and kept saying there is no order in for him. He was trying to explain (the best he could because he doesn't speak english well) that he is there for an MRI and not a CT and perhaps she has it wrong and she just kept dismissing him. I was on the phone and she refused to talk to me and I heard the entire ruthless conversation. I called the main number and they confirmed that he is in the system and everything is a "go." They called her and finally got her to say ok. What a nightmare for a senior to go through. CEDA needs to get professional training on how to treat humans in general. My husbands appointment was at 9:30 am. By 11:35 they have yet to call him back for his CT scan , even though they said an hour ago that two people were in front of him but they left already. 45 min ago!!! Very slow and I feel they double booked at the expense of clients. Not cool. Do NOT suggest making morning appointment and drinking barium hours before CT scan ESPECIALLY when your worried about a possible issue with liver to begin with. read more

Worst non experience ever. 1st attempt scheduler only asked if I had metal in my body. I stated yes and what kind. No problem. When I go, I was denied due to wires in my body. Had to go to hospital for medical records which didn't state what kind of wires. Doctors office called representatives of wire company & they stated it was safe for MRI. 2nd attempt, I was left voice mail stating appointment was cancelled due to "Tech" not wanting to proceed due to wires, even though he had all the information from doctor. Both times they kept pushing for CAT scan. To boot, the scheduler didn't see the note stating that Tech didn't want to due MRI. This company doesn't know what kind's of questions to ask, nor do they pay close attention to detail. Ortho. doc sent me elsewhere for MRI. read more

My referring doctor had to send the test order twice and several calls between Lakeside and the referring doctor, Lakeside finally called and confirmed my husband's appointment for 7:30 AM. We waited 45 minutes and when I asked the front desk how much longer, she said her schedule showed my husband for 10AM. I told her we received an appointment confirmation call for 7:30 and he has another appointment after this. She said she didn't know who called us. It must have been their call center. However the technician was in, so she should be able to see him in a few minutes and if he's delayed the referring doctor would know. Another ten minutes later and he was finally seen for a 30 second X-ray. Terrible service - the office staff have no idea what they are doing or how to communicate with patients and referring doctors' offices. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went in for 2 x rays my doctor had sent me for. One for my chest and one for my abdomen. I completed the new patient paperwork and then was told that they can't do these particular x rays because they needed a negative pregnancy test from my doctor due to the date of my last menstrual cycle. I was shocked as I have had these x rays before and have NEVER been asked to provide a negative pregnancy test. On the order forms I gave the "rude" dark haired girl at the front desk, it clearly states "not pregnant" on the page from my doctor! (Not to mention i just had my pap test also) I pointed that out to her and she "very rudely" proceeded to explain to me their policy. This was my first visit to Lakeside Open MRI and Diagnostic Center. The office is clean and has a comfortable feel to it. The staff was very professional and courteous and I was taken care of in a very timely manner. Tina was my technician and she is outstanding. Tina is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and has a good sense of humor. Tina gave me a great deal of information regarding the CT Scan I was having and I felt extremely comfortable in her hands. Dr wanted a ct scan on me after a concussion They were able to get me in quick just on standby which was nice I was in and out with the ct scan in like an hour which was not bad considering they said it usually takes 24 to 48 hours to get the insurance done and all I find the techs did not appreciate my stupid humor lol.. I went here to get an MRI that was order by my orthopedic doctor.. I missed my first appointment and they rescheduled me for the next day. The best part is that they offer late appointments and I was able to get there at 8pm. I waited less than 5 minutes and the staff was extremely kind!! I had never gotten an MRI and I was nervous. At one point I even hit the panic button and the technician came running in.. I explained my fear and she completely calmed me and was completely understanding.. Do not use this facility. They will overcharge you prior to filing your insurance and when you ask for a refund they tell you it will be 6 months before they will refund the overage charged to you. Terrible customer service and billing department. BEWARE!!! I have used this facility for years and never had this happen to me before there but they now tell me this is their policy to hold any overage for 6 months prior to refunding. RIDICULOUS! read more

Took my grandmother here today--walk in, no appt., and was very pleased with the level of care, courtesy, and professionalism she was given. Facilities were clean and sufficient--nothing spectacular, but we weren't there for a spa day. Front desk seemed to be quick and efficient. I really like this place for my imaging when I need it. I have been going here for a very long time. I recently had some cat scans done and Lottie did an amazing job. She was kind and compassionate and I appreciated her making me feel comfortable. The girls at the front desk were very nice also. Unfortunately I didn't get the lady's name that got my reports for me this morning. She and Lottie both remembered me when I returned for more scans. The lady at the front desk had my reports ready to hand to me when I came in the door. Thanks to Lottie too for making sure I had the reports that I needed. Shelly did awesome with my ultrasound. My issue was with the girls up front. I waited staring for a long time to get in. I wasn't sure if I was at the right place, Dr Malhotra had sent me there, they took my paper and gave me some to fill out and I promptly did the whole time asking if I was at the right place. They told me to come back at 1300, but shelly heard this and stepped up and said she had time for me now. Shelly did good the two up front not so much, still not sure if I was at the right place lol. There were only 4 other folks in there. Two of which was husband and wife so only the wife was a patient. Shelly gets 5 stars but those girls subtracted 1 sorry. read more

I have used Lakeside MRI for years and is the imaging location my primary Dr and myself both prefer. I used it twice in the last 6 weeks and both times were efficient and pleasant-these people know what they are doing. Lottie that did my CT scan was great, as well as Shelly in ultrasound. My doctor ordered a CT scan and I was able to get in quickly at this facility. I was met outside the front door by a gloved and masked woman who asked me the normal questions concerning covid-19 once I passed that check we entered the building where she took my temperature and provided me with hand sanitizer. I noticed that many of the patients were not masked and that this was not required, however I did wear a mask. Once I was called back I am sad to say that about 50% of the employees did not wear masks. The gentleman who began my IV did not wear a mask, and neither did the woman who performed the actual CT scan. I also noticed that several of the administrative staff to not wear mess either, however they were present in the hallways with the patients and as you know a whole way does not allow for a 6-foot social distance. Overall the staff were courteous and kind but I am concerned about their failure to maintain proper protocol during covid-19. read more

I visited Lakeside MRI on June 16, 2020. I always dread the wait time when it comes to anything medical, but I tell you, as soon as my paperwork was done, I was off to the back. I was having an Ultra Sound done. The tech who did my procedure was Shelly and she was awesome...she was so sweet and informed me of what she would be doing for my test.
