Dinner is soup and sandwiches but they are excellent. Highly recommend the Philly cheese steak on jalapeño cornbread. The cream puffs are delicious also. Tortilla soup was very good as well Dined around 6 pm, not crowded and excellent service. read more

This was a terrible experience. The lady who took our order was very rude. And not to mention she was not wearing a mask when the sign asks us to wear one. I see the benefit of wearing a mask and I wear one myself anytime I go anywhere. It seems as if she was very annoyed with our presence seemingly because we are young people of color. We in no way presented ourselves as a threatening presence but she seemed to take a hostile approach to her serving style. And instead of allowing us to take the time to make an order she consistently badgered us for our order. And when we made specifications to our order she got even more rude. She rolled her eyes constantly. She verbally said she hates making fraps, but as a consumer, that's very disenfranchising and it makes the experience very unpleasant. I won't be coming back and I encourage other customers to spend their time elsewhere, where they can be received with politeness. read more

The food was good, the portions are much too small for the pricing. I don't think it should be 14$ for a grilled cheese and a small bowl of tomato soup and a tea. That's ridiculous. Also the wait staff didn't refill my drink. This is a sit down restaurant. They should come and refill your drink and ask if you need anything. It makes me not enjoy my time here. read more

I was very disappointed in my grilled chicken salad at lunch today. It was basically limp iceberg lettuce (which I never eat anymore) and not much of that. The chicken bits were tender so I just picked them out to eat and the cucumber. There were a lot of croutons that also were soggy. I had tried the avocado stuffed chicken salad there before, and was unimpressed. I had also had the hamburger, which was pretty good, and that was when it first opened. I will definitely go somewhere else for lunch, especially if I want a good salad! read more

This place is so good since it switched from Harvest Cafe to Mulberry! Breakfast plates are very generous. The ladies special made me a sandwich at lunch because of being pregnant and not able to eat certain things! So accommodating! read more

So my friends and I went on a Friday evening for dinner here. Absolutely love this place! We were seated very quickly outside as requested. Our drink and appetizer order was taken quickly. We ordered our dinner and it came within a reasonable amount of time and as ordered. They did run out of the 3 different beers we were drinking but I suggested they go to the store and get more and that's exactly what they did. The manager was wonderful and the waiters we had were beyond awesome! They were prompt and funny! read more

The service was poor. It was 15 minutes from the time we were seated until drinks arrived. Another table was sat after we arrived and they received service first. The potatoes were undercooked and the bacon was akin to salty shoe leather. read more

This was my second trip for brunch and I was very unimpressed. As soon as my party was seated we waited 15 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. The rest of the service was just as slow and just as bad. Also, food included undercooked potatoes and overcooked bacon, needless to say I will not be back. read more

Got there at 1115. They lost our order. Got food after 30 plus minutes. Had stuffed avocado and tortilla soup. Just average. Soup was bland.

Mulberry Cafe was awesome!!!! I've eaten there for both lunch and dinner (with kids). The portions are great, the food was great and the service was pretty quick and came with a smile. The ambiance is totally different than any other restaurant. I don't usually like salads but the Asian salad is great. read more

When I first went to this restaurant, I loved the way the café looked. It had a nice homey feel and the smell of fresh baked bread filled my nose. At this point, I thought it couldn't get any better. And I was right. Because beyond that, it got worse. I was sat at a table in a dark corner and they dropped my menu in front of me and left to the back room. I glanced through the menu and it was like any basic sandwich place. Burgers, Wraps, and Salads. I wasn't as impressed as my boyfriend was when he went a couple months ago. After a quick glance around the restaurant for my server, I realized that I wasn't getting asked for my drinks any time soon. After waiting a hour, yes I know a whole hour, I started to notice that they were putting all the chairs on the tables to lock up. To be honest, I was disappointed that the mayor made a place like this. A lady came up to me and said they were locking up and asked me to leave. I then proceeded to tell her I was never served in my entire hour and a half of waiting. No one even offered me a drink! In my opinion, no one should come here because they have crappy service and apparently throw tables together at last minute. read more

Two stars because the waitstaff and the ambiance are okay. The food, well, I was informed that the discrepancies were due to new kitchen staff. One of whom stood leering at me from behind the bar as he refilled his iced tea 3times and watched me eat for 20min. I had an avocado salad; I guess I really can't complain about the freshness, because, even though it was just a bag of HEB field greens salad with half an avocado and store bought chicken salad, at least it was a recently opened bag of salad. I also ordered a charcuterie plate. $12 for; provolone, Swiss, and pepper jack (2 slices of each and are sliced for sandwiches), and prosciutto, salami, and peppered salami (3 pieces of each and also looks like they came from the grocery sandwich section). Overall review, it looks like they buy their food at the grocery store and throw it on a square plate, pretty unoriginal. Nothing really looks made "in house". There's nothing impressive, it was a very underwhelming experience. Again, I really wish the cook would stop watching me... read more
