Guinness BBQ quesadilla with spinach tortilla
    April B.

Food was pretty good. We ordered the bacon tater bombs for appetizer which were very good. I ordered the Guinness BBQ quesadilla which I enjoyed. The service was fine, no complaints. Overall the ambiance is family friendly so parents can enjoy themselves while the kids go play in the arcade area. It was a bit pricier than we expected for our meal but they do have family friendly deals that make nights out with your family more reasonably priced.

Mulligans Garner was recommended by a friend when they first opened. Pros: The atmosphere is standard for a family restaurant/rec type setting. The Celtic / Buffalo Wrap was tasty. The menu has a lot of good options but if you like good customer service look Nice ambient lighting. ___________________________________ Cons: Service Fee automatically attached to the receipt and the manager didn't seem to have a solution as her explanation was that the service fee is for credit card transactions and should have been removed since this was a cash transaction. elsewhere. Not customer centric. Very much overpriced for the portion size.

Tons of fun for the kids

Absolutely fun afternoon with family from California, Colorado, and the Raleigh area. I haven't played miniature golf in 40 years and really enjoyed one of the three beautiful courses they have. Also, I haven't swung a softball bat in 40 years, was a little rusty with the first five pitches, but nailed the rest of them! All the games for the kids both small and young were very enjoyable for the kids we had with us! Highly recommend any families who are looking for a fun outing!

I have dined here twice and have had good experiences! I love the layout of the restaurant and they have axe throwing and arcade games. The first time I stopped in was for a beer and warm pretzel sticks with cheese and mustard. They have Hell Yes Ma'am on tap and it's one of my favorites. The second time I had lunch with my boyfriend. He had the Reuben and I had the chicken Philly. My sandwich was just ok, but the Reuben was delicious. I will definitely order that the next time I dine here. All of the waitstaff are very friendly and on top of their game. I'm looking forward to returning and trying out axe throwing.

Scotch eggs. We ate one already.

Chill place to come as a family! The kids menu nuggets and fries are really good and a great portion. We also tried the scotch eggs and enjoyed them. We were able to have lunch, drink beer and the kids could play in the arcade. Definitely coming back!

Came here on a sat at opening time for our first time. Got the scotch eggs and tots which were awesome. The fish was full of batter and not fully cooked. I ordered a drink that was suppose to come with a salm rimand didn't. Bit onve we seen the bartender Jennifer B stick her bare hand into the olive jar and dig them out to put into a bowl. We were totally turned off. Ewe and yuk. Also a waitress kept coming over to the sliced oranges and taking herself some with her bare hands to eat. $80 some bucks later with tip so $99 so not worth it.

On Mondays their drink special is $5 for any draft, what a steal! We all enjoyed a drink and a few games. I love the decor and vibes in Boxcar, the artwork is really punk and cool looking. My favorite game, The Lucky Duck, was broken (the claw wouldn't extend far enough to reach any ducks). I reported this to a staff member and she let me pick out any 2 ducks I wanted! The Pokemon pinball was fun too, I love the variety of pinball machines.

Tokens are reasonably priced and older style arcade games only take 1- the more interactive or multi player games (think air hockey, basketball, dance dance etc) take 4. They have free popcorn, daily drink specials, and drinks were very reasonably priced. Despite being fairly busy, service at the bar was friendly and fast- I was impressed! Not much else for food here from what I can tell, so don't plan on having your meal here. I brought two teenage boys and we hung out for almost 2 hours- I think I spent about 40 bucks including tokens and a couple of drinks for myself. I really liked the street art vibe, especially all of the murals and the Instagram wall. They've done a great job with ambiance! The outdoor patio adds a lot of additional chill space. When we were there they didn't have a band playing, but I think they do often. I almost want to give it 5 stars, but several of the games were not working properly and ate our tokens. That say you can grab someone to fix them, but nobody appeared available, and I wouldn't have wanted to bother them multiple times anyhow... Would be great if they were proactively checking and fixing them. More snacks would be great too! Other than that it was a really great experience, I would definitely go back.

My favorite from Yellow course was the zip line, red course was the slippery floor and the Rocket , and blue course was the bus and pool table. Each course & hole had an activity thaw was an interactive experience. The cost for this activity was $16 for all 3 courses per person, great price for this experience. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't eat but definitely bring a water bottle as they have refill station near the bathroom. The bathrooms were clean as well as the inside & on the courses. Employee was dusting the course in between people finishing their shots. The parking lot was huge, so definitely plenty of parking. I had a great time and definitely recommend, if you're looking for a fun, unique activity. Cheers

The site itself is quite nice and very large. Apparently renovations were done recently so it has an updated feel to it. When you walk in you sign up to race at the counter area, and you also take your picture and pick a racing name. The majority of our group was guys, with the exception of three ladies. Us ladies didn't race and instead ended up getting drinks from the bar, playing a few of the arcade games, and cheering on our guy friends who raced. The bar area has a pretty good selection of drinks and food, and for it being an "amusement" type center, I'd say the quality was pretty decent! There were a solid amount of things you could do besides the racing. They had axe throwing, a rock climbing wall, arcade games, and an interactive game arena. The racing did look fun and our friends had a good time doing it. Those karts go up to around 40mph so they're no joke. I do feel like they do a good job with their safety measures. They give you solid racing helmets, and if you spin out they'll make sure to help safely get you straightened back out. They'll also enforce some set track rules to make sure you're racing safely. My two friends and I watched our other friends race from a large viewing platform near the top of the track. The only negative thing I'd say about our experience is that it's loud (I'm sensitive to high pitched squealing sounds, so I shoved some bits of napkin in my ears and that helped lol), heavily smells of gas (they do have ventilation in place but it's still very noticeable), and it's also pretty hot in there. The area with the arcade, bar, and other entertainment is separate from the racing track, which is good because you can get some relief in between races in there. Overall, it was a fun experience! We all had a good time and would go back again. This time I'd bring ear plugs lol.

The arcade games are fun for all ages, so this is also a place you can bring your family during the day, which is something different for the area. I wouldn't suggest small kids later at night...it is still a bar. As far as food goes, it's really good for a small kitchen as they have. I usually order the Cheat Code, which is their twist on cheese sticks that has bacon and is drizzled with hot honey. So delicious! The pizza is great, as well as the dips and nachos. The space is huge, and they have many lanes. You don't feel like you are on top of each other, which is nice. I believe it was about $30 for all of us to play two games/get shoes, which is not bad at all! They have a huge arcade type space with plenty of games and even a small ride that mimics the Himalaya at the N.C. State Fair! You can play games, earn tickets, and they have a full force prize booth! It's pretty cool! There is an incredibly extensive food menu, and they have decent drink options as well; beer, wine, soda, juice, water, etc. The only food we got were the chicken tenders, and although frozen I actually asked the woman the brand. These were some of the best chicken tenders I have ever had and did not seem frozen at all. Eager to try some new foods next time! We are already planning our next trip back!
