Scooter's was a fun time to grab some appetizers, drinks and play darts upstairs with friends. One of the Sunday Funday specials was mimosas for $4 so I started off with one of those then switched it up to beer. The draft list is smaller but they have some cans and bottles available too. If you want to watch games, they also have TVs. On a side note, if you want a bigger craft beer selection then I recommend heading over to Edit (they have a door that connects both businesses) and you can order food from Scooter's there. read more

Me and my husband love going to Scooters on weekends to see live music. Saturdays are great for their $10 cheeseburgers special, we think some of the best in Raleigh. The staff is always amazing, the people who visit are amazing, its like a home away from home. Highly reccommend! read more

I had a really excellent cheeseburger here a few weeks ago. Outstanding service. Very few people in the bar on a Sunday afternoon, all men and all of them over 50. This bar is definitely a step down in everything since the attached Harley dealership closed some years ago. Now, in what used to be a beautiful dealership there is a concrete floor/flimsy chair brewery in the back. There's a outside area that's probably very nice when the weather is good, but the semi-enclosed area now is for smokers. was up in Raleigh to pick up some china and stemware then while looking for coffee and maybe a biscuit I found this place. pulled into a mostly empty lot fronting a bar with a raised and covered wrap around deck and a band setting up on the outdoor stage. lots of bikery stuff outside and signs suggesting patrons forgo "colors" and "armaments" and the like... inside it's like every random bar I've ever stopped at for random nourishments (scooter's adds pocket billiards, games, and more TV upstairs plus access to balcony seating!) early even for pregaming so it was just a couple guys at the bar nursing their drinks and some girls playing at the video poker prize thing stuff and giggling as girls are wont. cheese burger and fries and PBR on special gets change back from a jackson for coffee if I ever find a place... pretty sure the burger isn't hand formed, also pretty sure neither I nor the regular clientele care much about that; it's cheesy and burgery with tomato, lettuce and onion and room for ketchup and mustard on top plus a pickle spear beside a pile of way too salty fries and it comes out quick with a smile and a few kind words from Jackie behind the bar. not the placiest place I've ever been but I was originally looking for coffee and something that goes with coffee... the band (downpour?) was warming up as I was heading out and it sounded like they was gonna be fun tonight but I got 150 something miles between me and the house... read more

Our server, Jennifer, was fantastic! Very welcoming and friendly. Definitely a biker bar ambiance but the food is delicious and plentiful. I've been here a couple times and have never been disappointed. My son came here for lunch with me today and is a new convert! He said it was some of the best food at good prices in the area. The food there always makes me sick to my stomach the next day. They have a rating of 94. They do not have their capacity license posted anywhere. They are usually understaffed for larger crowds. Their bar seating is unacceptable for disabled individuals with back issues For the motorcycle community they have now posted a sign which states "No Colors Allowed." They tell people to remove their riding vests whether they are a motorcycle club or a casual rider. They do not know the difference between a motorcycle club and a social club. read more

Can't go wrong with bar food. I usually sit at Edit with our friends and our dogs and order from Scooters. I love their salads as they're always made fresh. We sit inside at Edit as it is always quiet in comparison to scooters but we don't get a lot connection with the servers but when we do it's always a pleasure. read more

First time here. Very casual with mostly partially outdoor seating but they had the nice tall heaters. The service was friendly and frequent enough. I got the ribs, husband got the burger. I also tried a white claw seltzer which was very good. Everything was good. The ribs were delicious but not quite fall-off-the-bone - had to use the knife a couple of times, but overall still really good. On this night they had live music. The music was great to sit, eat, talk and drink by. I really liked this place. It caters to bIkers but we never felt out of place. It has a fair sized area for smokers. If that is something that is going to bother you then don't go. read more

Saw this place out of the corner of my eye today after having never noticed it over the years (it's a little tucked away). Stopped in on a whim because I like checking out local spots. Scooters offers solid bar food and a decent selection of domestic beers. They have a nice outside seating area that is a great spot to have lunch and people/bike watch. The burgers, cheese steaks and wings are all pretty good. The weekday blue plate specials are suprisingly good "home cooking." Service is friendly and efficient and your glass won't go empty. It is definitely a "biker" spot and a popular start / finish point for poker runs and various charity fundraisers on weekends. That being said, the lunch crowd is pretty sedate with a mix of neighbors, bikers and businessmen. When you visit, be sure to walk next door and check out the Big Dog motorcycle dealer that shares the building. You never know, one may follow you home....shh, don't tell my wife! read more

A biker bar. Ok maybe not exactly, but it appears to cater to the biker crowd. That makes it kind of fun. The parking lot is filled with bikes on weekends and evenings. I can understand why. Scooters is an okay place with a decent outdoor seating area. The food is typical bar food. The friend I was with really likes the burgers and because he's a biker and a regular at this place, I go with his judgment. My burger, sans meat, had fresh veggies and a not-too-soft bun. The fries were hot and with just the right amount of salt. The beer selection is okay but basic. The iced tea was pretty flavorless, but was cold and hit the spot on warm day. One big surprise with Scooters was how quickly our food arrived. From order to food at the table was probably 5 minutes. If you're running errands in the neighborhood at lunch and in a hurry, then this might be a good stop. Scooters also gets points for its outdoor seating and its friendly waitstaff. Overall, Scooters is an okay place, and probably a lot of fun on weekends and evenings, but it's not on my list of regular spots. read more

This Is a cool biker bar. They have outside seating and bands. The food is your average bar food. This time I had the wings. I asked for them to be make my wings extra crispy and they were perfect. Just an all-around great place to go eat, drink or just hang out. Lots of motorcycles and non-riders alike. Good food, live music on the weekends, and he even has movie night on Thursday (I think) night. Great burgers and sandwiches, and the ribs are to-die-for! Daily specials are usually really good, (think down-home comfort-food stuff) and they have a nice selection of bottled and draft beer, plus any sort of cocktails you might want. Service is usually very good, but can be just good-to-average if they're really, really busy. I moved to Raleigh 11 months back and was looking for a good place to hang out and meet people that like to ride.I had moved up from Florida . and left my wife in orlando until we sold our house. Someone I worked with sent me towards Scooters when I asked about biker bars in the area. From the first time I went there was made to feel at home. the staff was great and service was fast. I soon met some of the regulars and returned often. Scooters has many Regular customers that come back time and time again, but newcomers are always made to feel welcome. It is a safe place to bring friends, or even a date. Several Patched clubs come it from time to time , but are very respectful to other patrons and never cause trouble . Infact the oppisite . They also have some of the best bands in the area, every weekend. Scooters is like Cheers for the Biker .( Everybody alwasy Knows your name and and they are always Glag you came). read more
