We recently went to Mulligan's Beach House Bar & Grill and had a great experience. The breakfast menu has all kinds of options, so there's something for everyone. The prices are reasonable, although it can get a little expensive if you order several drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary, and they offer two sizes. The waitress recommended the extra large, and it was huge--I couldn't even finish it! It had a good amount of alcohol and came with two jumbo shrimp, olives, and celery. Really good. The food and the service were both very good, and our waitress was amazing. I would probably enjoy eating inside more than outside because the restaurant is right on a busy street and the traffic can be heavy. Since we had our dog with us, sitting outside was our only option. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back--especially when our friends come to visit. read more

I thought I was walking into a tourist trap, but I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted with such enthusiasm and a warm welcome. Chris was on top of it all! I am doing a 2 star because the wait staff here absolutely care more about socializing with each other than paying attention to their tables. Was in town from Arizona for my grandmothers 100th. Came to Mulligans because I always used to love coming when I visited. It us d to be open air last time I was in town so I know it's been a long time. We got sat over by the bar. It was not very busy but it probably took a food 8 minutes for the waitress just to come ask us what we wanted to drink and she stood so far away from the table on the opposite side of it we could hardly hear her. I have no idea what her name was so I could not tell you that because she did not get close enough to hear that. We gave her our drink or and told we were also ready to order. We ordered wings. She said to get them breaded they were better that way. ABSOLUTELY DO JOT GET THEM BREADED! The sauce on them was great the size of the wings was great. The breading terrible. Just made it a very gooey mess. Wings are messy anyway but lord. When we were ready to get out check it took a good 20 minutes of looking around for our waitress who was gathered with the others chatting before she came over. I will give this advise to the manager who also seemed clueless as he just kept to himself close to the bar you need to have your waitresses pay attention. This place used to be very busy on a Saturday bustling with people having drinks and food with the open air setting and the steel drum. The manager used to walk around and ask how did you like your food. The waitresses used to check in making sure you had a full drink or did you need more napkins or anything. My overall opinion is that it's average tasting food and drinks but it's picturesque and in a great location with wonderful staff. Kids eat free Thursday nights and there's a small arcade ... there's a machine where you will deposit credits with your money and receive a card to swipe to play the games. It can be complicated to use so don't mind asking the staff for help. Of the two apps my dad picked, 100% would choose the onion rings and not order the pretzel again. It's a place I feel you come for the vibes and atmosphere over anything. There is an upstairs area but it is closed during the offseason. Haven't been here in 15 years or so. I don't recall too much of my previous visit so it was as if I was here for the first time. It's all about expectations with this restaurant. If you go expecting a gourmet dinner you will be disappointed. But if you go expecting to enjoy simple, well-prepared food, you will be more than satisfied. I had the "Monster Fish and Chips". Two large white fish fillets breaded crispy and served with French fries and coleslaw. Fish was very good- crunchy and delicious. French fries were also crispy, Cole slaw was obviously premade. House salad was good- large portion of chopped lettuce cucumbers, etc. Blue cheese dressing was okay- just wish there were chunks of blue cheese in it. The waiter was quite pleasant and eager to serve. We ate at a table that opened up to the street- could be a bit noisy with the traffic, but also got a nice sea breeze. Went to mulligans Thursday night and had a wonderful time. We were seated right away and immediately our waiter was getting our dunks. There were 10 of us and she handled splitting all the bills great. She was wonderful. On top of everything Food came out fast and was great and Lulu (might be spelt wrong) was wonderful. I've visited twice, once with my wife in 2024 and again with my family in December 2025. The atmosphere is consistently cabana-style and tropical, which is really appealing. Unfortunately, on both visits the service fell short. The servers were slow to engage, and even the initial drinks took an unusually long time to arrive. During our second visit, a service error ultimately led us to leave early. We offered to pay for what we had already received and cancel the rest of our order. The shift manager personally took responsibility for his staff and comped the bill instead. While I appreciated that gesture, the overall experience was disappointing given how promising the setting is. I hope they're able to improve their service, because the atmosphere alone suggests this place could be much better. read more

I went to this restaurant on Monday, March 16, 2026, I have been going to this restaurant in frequently since 1994. The last time I was there was about three months ago, and my wife and I went in and my wife wanted a Mojito nobody in the restaurant knew how to make one. This is a restaurant bar across the street from the beach, and nobody knows how to make a Mojito today, I walked in, and I asked for a Malibu Bay breeze. One of the most common beach drinks you can make nobody knew how to make it. I don't blame the bartenders, cause they're not bartenders. They are beer servers. I blame management. I don't know what it is about restaurants serving breakfast. They usually never toast the bread when you order "toast". Toast is dark brown. It is cooked. It is supposed to be crispy. Crunchy even. I ordered eggs Benedict here on a "toasted" English muffin and my wife ordered Avocado "toast". The dishes were served on warm bread at best. It definitely wasn't toasted though. This made for very soggy and disappointing meals in both cases. The home fries were crispy though. So, I know they know how to use a stove. Toast is apparently a tough ingredient though for this place. Go, because the drinks are strong. Just be sure to order your toast extra extra well done. read more

I never gave Mulligans a chance. Born and raised down the street I just never found myself wanting to go to what I thought was a Floridian Chilis. My bad. The fish and chips were great and affordable. The fish's breading was seasoned so well. I was stunned at how much flavor they packed into it. I believe they use the same breading on the chicken tenders, so those were perfectly seasoned as well. The vibe is...Florida, which I love haha. Take people here if they want to sit near the water, listen to music, and have some beers. Get the fish and chips and if happy hour get the nachos. Service was poor. They forgot our beers twice. My friends and I visited Mulligan's on Christmas Day ONLY because they advertised Happy Hour EVERYDAY and EVERY NFL game on their TVs. These claims were all displayed on their A-Frame sidewalk signs and prominently plastered on menus. However, THERE WAS NO HAPPY HOUR and the NFL GAME was NOT AVAILABLE. We spoke w manager, Jeremy about both issues. Clearly, he had had this conversation before and didn't want to deal with us. He walked away from our table while we were pointing to menu which states, "Happy Hour everyday." (btw, no fine print anywhere, we looked!) Other negative aspects about this place include no wifi and closed upstairs deck. In summary, the name Mulligan's is accurate as its lackluster initial attempt requires an do over. First time going. My wife had always wanted to go here. She absolutely loved this place. If she did this review she'd have given them 5 stars. I gave 4 only because the table was so sticky the menus stuck and couldn't be picked up. They had to be peeled off. Waitress said it's the humidity. That's fine. Table didn't smell or anything. Hostess greeted and seated us quickly. Very welcoming. We got a booth at a window. Very nice! Ordered drinks. Came quick. Ordered food. My wife ordered the Mac n cheese burger and house chips. I ordered conch fritters, the Texas burger and house chips. Wasn't long before our burgers and house chips came out. They'd forgotten my conch fritters. I let that go. They brought out the fritters soon after. It was okay really. Just a mistake I was okay with ignoring. The ambiance is nice and beach. Very casual. Music played. Nice. The food was DELICIOUS. They got my wife's burger well done (she likes it that way), and mine medium well. They actually got them right. The house chips are surprisingly tasty, not all greasy or too salty. We really enjoyed our experience there. If your going here and traveling from Fort Pierce, I suggest you take Indian River Drive all the way down. First, the service was very slow. We were there on a Sunday morning and only 3 other tables had customers. When the food came, it was extremely salty. So much so that I could only eat half before giving up. The server was nice which is why I didn't give them a 1 star. I wish I could give this place a fair review because I've been told it's a great place. We sat upstairs to catch a glimpse of the water and a nice breeze. It took about 10 minutes just to be greeted and have menus dropped. We ordered waters and an appetizer while we looked at the drink menu. After sitting for 35 minutes the waitress came back and said the drinks would be right out - we just wanted drinks and another appetizer but our first app never came and after waiting for 45 minutes with only a glass of water we gave up and decided to leave. We let the bartender know so she could tell the waitress. This was a huge disappointment. We just wanted to sit down, have a few drinks and apps, and enjoy the atmosphere but instead we had poor service. The bartender, who should have had our drink orders, wasn't going anything either so I have no idea if the waitress (who also appeared to be training someone) even put our orders in. Our brunch was brought to our table by an older gentleman (the owner maybe?) and he was the only one in a good mood Sunday! I was visiting Port St. Lucie area from Michigan, and the food was served hot and fresh. I had shrimp and spinach omelette, that was loaded with shrimp, very tasty. She was our server in addition to running the morning bar tabs, she was kind, considerate and very friendly. We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures. Sorry! But the food was tasty and prepared fast! We had fish sandwiches, mushroom sandwich, an Asian bowl, and salad. Everyone liked their meals and there were no leftovers! We all agreed that the spices didn't overpower the food's flavor. The potato chips are homemade and not greasy.
