We went to a Christmas party. We were 20 book club members. We ordered from the pre fixed menu. To start I had the clams casino. Small but tasty. The Main dish was meat. The meat was so fatty it grossed me out. The meat (prime rib) was barely done. I could not cut the meat with the steak knife. First I had to cut all the fat off. Then, try to eat the meat. The mashed potatoes were good. I asked for a cup of decaf but never got served my coffee. The slice of cheese cake was good. The dinner cost me $65.00 for lunch. Gratuity included. That included lunch and for me a Bloody Mary, which was good. My complaint was the main dish. Too much fat. Half my dish was FAT. And lunch was too expensive for my pocket. read more

So on 8/05/2024, we visited this establishment it was my mother in law birthday. She has been here before for Mother's Day and it is whatever mom wants so we went. The Ambiance is okay nothing to me that stood out. The patio area is where my mother-in-law chose since that was her seating of choice last visit. The waitresses were all cool, it rained so we had to move from the seating we had. Between the wind and rain, we did get a bit wet. The waitress was fast on helping move drinks and food to the other table. Our choice of food was Fire Roasted Salmon for mom, 3 smash burgers for the children, and Roasted Duck for me. My mother-in-law Salmon was great from what she mentioned. But that is as far as good we can go. The Duck was more on the dried side for me lack of flavor, and the mashed potatoes were bland nothing to be impressed with. The smash burgers weren't smashed at all and a very rare, especially for children. Not sure what was going on with the chef that day. The hype about this place is just that temporary hype. But I get it (Tradition) a trendy town being built so when you build an establishment in an area that people retire in and don't know great food. You get this kind of establishment a pretty decor with low-budget cooks who don't care about the people and more about the dollar. Lotsa menu choices; I had the huevos rancheros which I thought were great, the eggs were perfect also there were 3 ,perfect beans had a slight kick, the sausage was great little pieces well cooked no grease in the dish,the tortillas were crisp just an overall yummy dish, the only thing is it was like warm vs hot. I suspect this time goes on many more restaurants will open in the area. They will have to get on their A game to be competitive. Close to $60 for a ribeye and Chilean Seabass with shrimp and crab stuffing with $62 something you'd have to think twice about before ordering.
