Car buying is the worst - I went through the worst and then found the best. Thank you Brittany for being so responsive and guiding us through this process - we were at the point of giving up!! Also a thanks to Roosevelt in finance for making the process easy and working for the best possible option for our family. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Missing interior bracket to mount the roof rack to the the roof. Caused leaking in the vehicle.

21 June 2025: I had to trade in my old Toyota FJ Cruiser because I needed a vehicle with an automatic transmission due to knee damage from my military service and post-surgery pain. Having to press a clutch was too painful. I hesitantly traded it for a 3rd Gen Tacoma with an automatic transmission. Kept if for 1.5 years and hated it. I wanted another FJ Cruiser. I stumble across Mullinax Fords web site and see this beautiful green FJ at their West Palm Beach location. I had been looking at FJ's for a month, and this one checked all my boxes. Low miles, looked great and well maintained, etc.... I drove from Tampa to West Palm to test drive it and it ran great! I was totally stoked (that feeling you get when you love a vehicle) and I traded in my Tacoma. I drove it home (3.5hrs) and it was great. Felt good, just like my old one except this one was an automatic transmission. I parked in my driveway and it rained that afternoon. Didn't think anything of it. Went to get something out of my it and noticed the passenger side floor mat was wet. I then lifted the floor mat and there was a puddle of water. I notified the salesman that sold me the vehicle and asked if he could call the previous owner to see if this was an issue. The salesman obliged and the previous owner stated it never did...maybe true, maybe not. I pulled apart the lower kick panel, removed the glove box, and inspected the cabin air filter. Filter was dry. Had a neighbor spray the FJ down as I laid in the FJ observing the lower passenger side are below the kick panel. I had them spray low and work their way up. When they got to the mounts for the roof rack, the water started coming into the cabin. I communicated this with the Mullinax Ford and they said they would talk to the manager. Today I went to remove the roof rack to inspect the mounting areas to find where the water was leaking into the cabin. I put my T-40 bit in there and went to loosen the bolts and the spun freely. They were "just" in the holes, not attached to anything...just sitting in the holes. That being said, there is a bracket under the headliner they are supposed to attach to. I proceeded to remove all the trim covers. Strangely, none of the bolts were "factory" tight. The were all way too easy to loosen. That made me suspicious that someone knew about this issue, started to fix it, then gave up. The first one I removed was the upper trim panel that covers the door latch. I pulled it off; it was full of water and traces of dirt. It had a small metal clip in it as well (the clip that holds the roof rack bracket to the roof). Had to remove the A-Pillar trim, and the rear window trim, grab handles, and various clips to get to the area where the mount is (remember, I'm the consumer). As soon as I lowered the head liner that is above the door latch, I see the bracket that the two bolts are supposed to mount to. It was just wedged between the headliner and the door latch. So now it's all apart and ready to repair. I contacted Mullinax Ford to see if there was anything they could do for me...maybe pay for the parts to repair it, maybe send me to a contract place to have someone do the repairs. Their response was, "Unfortunately since it is a bronze vehicle and you are so far. We won't be able to do anything." They could order the parts I need through a local dealership here, or offer a gift card to cover parts and labor...but no. They can't do anything. I find all this to be strange. It must not have rained a drop in West Palm while they had the vehicle on the lot, and they must not have washed the vehicle. If so, they would have known about the leaking. I suspect the guys that do the vehicle prep probably saw the water, and wiped it up and didn't report it. Had I known this vehicle was leaking, I would have either used it as a negotiation tool, or simply not have wasted my time buying it. P.T. Barnum once said, "There's a fool born every minute." I was that fool for trusting Mullinax Ford. Not their fault it leaks, but they should have made it known, or repaired it. Buyer beware. Update 23 June 2025: Mullinax Ford did contact me by phone and offer to pay for the parts needed to do the repairs. I appreciate them reaching out to me, and this was a step in the right direction. Thank you Mullinax Ford for going in the right direction with this.

Do NOT EVER come to this Ford dealership. They scam you and price gouge you with even simple repairs.

I took it to one shop, and they thought it was the wiring to the battery and adjusted that, but the very next day, it happened again. When I arrived, a young man by the name of Austin, approached me right away to assist me. He was prompt, efficient, and I was so impressed that he really knew what he was doing, better than anyone I've ever seen work on cars. His manners and work ethic was evident and very impressive. I will definitely be using AutoZone now instead of other competitors! Way to go, Austin!!!

I was dreading this repair my windshield reservoir started leaking . I Google possible problems ,…read morebasically everything said replace the reservoir with pumps seals . I decided to take the truck apart and possibly remove the reservoir as I found on online that could be at my door the next morning. I take it apart find the pump lose in the reservoir. I see a grommet that was brittle where the pump connected to the reservoir. I Google other parts but nothing matches. I figure I would try the local AutoZone here in Jupiter before driving down to dodge to try and find the grommet. Alex and one of the sales girls started searching and hound the grommet that I found on the internet, but it doesn't look close to the same . Then he disappeared and was searching all the parts in the isle and bam he finds the same one in the store we compare tge two but one has a filter the Owen doesn't the ID of the hole is much smaller . He says try it out and if it doesn't work bring it back and precedes to open the package and compare the two . All in all Alex convinced me to try it I had nothing to lose . So I buy the part and take it back to the garage and start disassembling the truck again ( I had to drive it to the store) and I get to the pump and what do you know it fits like a glove . Not only did Alex save me tons of time by finding that grommet and convincing me to take it and try it out , but I saved 100$ on the entire pump and reservoir. There's a reason I switch all my automobiles needs to auto zone in Jupiter . They have a fantastic inventory, prices are comparable to others or beat them and the staff of fantastic . Thank you Alex again for your time and help . It doesn't go unnoticed. . I buy all my automotive supplies from you guys if I can and marine items as well . Thank you

IF YOU DRIVE A GERMAN CAR, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE…read more They messed up my oil change on my 14' Passat TSI and when my car broke down immediately after, they wouldn't take responsibility for it. I had it towed back there, they tried to fix it, but the damage was already done. They had their 'specialist' look at it the next day, and he called me coming up with excuses such as "oh you had multiple leaks" (as if those multiple leaks weren't caused by an increase in oil pressure when the filter was put on wrong), "oh your PCV valve was clogged. Mind you I live in Plantation, which is about 80 miles away. No way catastrophic damage like that occurs from a 15 dollar part. And if so, it should have happened when I was driving at high speeds the night before, not AFTER my car was serviced. I've had diagnostics run multiple times through a local shop AND my local VW dealership's service team. No such issue was ever even brought up. Their senior tech, Nick was talking down to me like I was an idiot, so I called customer service, they link me to ths guy named Mike, who concurred with Nick, but offered to have a third party adjuster inspect the vehicle, but could not give me a definitive time for said adjuster to arrive... Since they gave me the runaround with no clear timeline, of action, I towed my car to my usual AAMCO location who also determined that Pep Boys was at fault. Therefore, "Res Ispa Loquitor" applies, and I will be suing these people. This is a travesty, and the fact these people keep insulting my intelligence shows what kind of people operate within this company. My car worked just fine before taking it in, and now no longer works, currently needing a brand new engine. These people took my money, my time, my car, and my livelihood. I will NOT stop until this is rectified. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!!
