NEGATIVE STARS. I saw "Dr" Rehman today. I had a craniotomy 20 some years ago to remove a golf ball size tumor from my brain. I started noticing some things recently that I thought might be side effects of that surgery. I also had some questions regarding neuropathy. After testing me for neuropathy, she was very quickly trying to rush me out the door. When I asked her if I could ask a couple more questions, she literally responded with "NO, you only have a 15 minute time slot". I was with her for maybe 7 minutes tops. You mean to tell me, after waiting a month to see you, paying a $60 co-pay and I'm sitting in front of you with valid concerns about my health, you are going to tell me "no, I only have 15 minutes"? I went early today to do my labs and the woman who works for Labcorp at the second level of the building was extremely rude to me, she took my blood test, without having the proper care of hurting me, she wasn't careful with the elastic before the blood test and then she over tight the band after she took the blood test. The only people there that are polite, were the ones at the front. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Only to say that I HIGHLY recommend that you go see anyone, other than Stephen Woof. He has got to be one of the most incompetent PA's that I've ever dealt with. He wants to drag you in the office constantly to make money on an office visit, instead of calling a prescription in for routine medications. He has no bedside manner. He seems confused when you try to speak to him. And the office staff are rude, when you finally get through after waiting on hold. Worst 'doctor' ever. read more

This doctors office is requesting an appointment every 90 days for a maintenance medicine. I have been trying to get an appointment they are requesting but they will only offer appointment times when I have told them I cannot make. ? It should not be this hard with a doctors office. A doctor's office shouldn't make you feel worse when hanging up the phone, or better yet, getting hung up on when requesting to speak with someone else. You have to wait 20 minutes before anyone answers the phone. This "group" consists of too many doctors and not enough front office staff to handle the phone calls and appointments. You cannot get an appointment on an urgent basis; not even a telemed appointment. Appointment books even for existing patients are two to three months out. Treated like a number not a valued patient. I give zero stars. After having my 5th kiddo, I was referred to this practice by a friend . Long and short, every single "scheduled" appointment my daughter was to have , they would cancel a day before. The first time it happened , driving 30 minutes from Quantico area to get to my appointment ,for the office peeps to say "we tried contacting you but no answer the doctor isn't in today ". I wouldn't even go as far as saying she was rude , but she had an "oh well" attitude . Same thing with the other times. They called s day before to cancel my daughters appointment saying the doctor will be gone. A bunch of hogwash, inconsiderations, overbooking , and inconveniencing people. Four weeks ago, my son had a routine physical for school. We are still trying to get his results released. When I call, I wait 20-30 minutes to get a receptionist, who tells me they will call back when the papers are ready. They don't call. I like Dr. Anand but this is the worst front-end I have ever experienced, and with two special-needs kids I've dealt with a lot of doctors' offices. The two stars are out of respect for the polite and apologetic ladies at the front desk. Apparently back nurse staff can't bother to communicate with patients and if you schedule an appointment you better make sure you have upwards of an hour to wait and then time after to be seen. This was not customary of usual appointments but apparently has slowly started to become the standard. I don't know if it's due to the new nursing staff, shifts in patients, lack of procedure following on account of patients, or off days of usual staff but I'm leaning towards this surely no longer seeming to be an effective and considerate place you'd want to get care at the moment. Review is simply on ridiculous wait time as waiting more than an hour just to be seen with no regards or communication is beyond unprofessional. Did not see the doctor because after an hour of wait time, no further communication, no one able to tell me when the doctor will actually get to me I left!! If I could give no stars I would. You always wait no matter who you see. The doctor or the nurse. When u call to get prescriptions filled - you wait a week or more to speak to someone! You have to call almost everyday. The staff is is untrained . I am asking the "nurse" I am not sure if she is because she tells me it is dress down friday and she is jeans with no ID page on, to draw up the medication in front of me. Said nurse begins to argue with me about doing so. I asked her to get her office manager or MD so that I may speak with them. She came back to the room and preceded to tell me how expensive vaccine are. Something I am already aware of. The staff is rude. I would have left the office had she not proceded with my request. Dr. Fiore always in a rush, overbooks himself, runs around like chicken with the head cut off. I switched to another Dr. in his office and he cancelled my meds and acted up - totally unprofessional There are better options out there than wasting half your day waiting on him and having to chase him for test results, blood work etc. read more

Dr. Rehman is one of the worst doctors I have seen. Unfortunately, she is the only neurologist are Spotsylvania Regional Hospital. I had the misfortune of seeing her while I was in the hospital. She would breeze in each morning, stand at the foot of my bed and ask me to do the same things each day...follow her fingers, shrug my shoulders, lift my legs...all while she stood there with her bag still on her shoulder! Then she would thank me and breeze back out. I wouldn't know what she had planned for me if I didn't ask before she bolted out the door. She pretty much told me I had epilepsy and wanted to do a study at her office. I did my own research, went to a different neurologist and the whole time it was a reaction to one of my meds. I have been seeing Heidi Taft, NP for probably about a year now and I have not had any problems with appointments nor her care. She gives me her utmost attention and I do not feel rushed to get in and out of there. I work in a doctors office and if a patient needs a referral for a primary care, I refer to Heidi and that staff. I do wish that we could speak or leave a message for the RN or MA instead of going through the front staff. They have knowledge and are very informative but sometimes its just nice to speak or leave a message for the RN or MA. Thumbs up to Heidi. read more

I absolutely loved Dr. Fiore, my GP at Spotsy. I even had a great experience with the neurologist, Dr. Rehman. Unfortunately, my experience with the pulmonologist, Dr. Moukhachen, has been nothing short of disastrous, including ER trips related to pulmonology that she would neither see me after (as in, said I would have to wait another 3 months for our follow-up) nor refer me to a more available pulmonologist. I have had bad reactions to medication, and instead of trying different medications, she ignores my request for appointments, referrals, or other prescriptions, and I have just stopped taking my medication, leaving my condition untreated. She is not in the office enough to be able to give her clients the treatment they need, and while she's great at making sure your referrals to other specialists go through, she's not good at managing your condition. Go anywhere else in this area before you resort to Spotsy. read more

I had a very bas experience with Heidi Taft NP. She treated me kind & fair until I started to ask for different meds or labs that i felt would help to find out what was wrong with me. Shes not open to discussions if its not her idea. Very rude & seemed to get intimidated if treating other healthcare professional. What is she hiding? Does she know what type of meds are to be prescribed for certain ailments? She seemed to stumble & doubt herself. When suggested certain tests & procedures that I felt would help determine my ailment she became angry & told me to go to Urgent Care & get my own labs. She didnt want to be bothered when she was the on call doctor; well she is a NP not a medical doctor. I should have searched for a trained medical doctor with experience. If you want to be treated like you are an idiot and to go away & find your own diagnosis from a walk in clinic not here-then this is the place for you. read more

As a new patient, my first appointment was for a Medicare Wellness exam, booked by a front desk staff member, which the Nurse Practitioner wouldn't perform as she said only an MD can do that exam. She was incorrect. Secondly, I was told by the Nurse they would do whatever blood work I asked for. Another wrong statement. I brought my concerns to the Office Manager who told me the Nurse Practitioner should have done the exam; and the nurse shouldn't have told me I could have any blood work that I asked for as it depends on insurance. I also asked that incorrect diagnoses be removed from my medical record and other mistakes corrected. The Office Manager spoke to the staff and "retrained" them in certain areas. I'm sure many were offended. When I returned for another appointment to have minimal lab work done, after waiting a week, no one from the office called to give me the test results. I had to call and ask for them. The Nurse called me back right before close of business that day to give me the test results over the phone. She repeated several times that she was putting the results in the mail. After waiting nearly 2 weeks, I never received them. Either she lied about mailing them or she is incompetent. Again, I called the Office Manager to ask for a copy of my test results. If I don't get them, I'll go elsewhere to be retested. She said she was putting them in the mail as we spoke and apologized for what had happened. I told the Office Manager that because I had previously made a complaint about certain staff members, I believed they had retaliated against me by not doing their job. Because I did not feel comfortable dealing with any of them again, I would not be coming back to this practice. This is no way to treat patients, new or otherwise. Also, the Nurse Practitioner sent an antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy before even knowing my blood test result, which was negative. They dispense antibiotics like candy which is dangerous because of antibiotic resistance and the fact that 80% of our immunity is in our gut and antibiotics destroy all gut bacteria, both good and bad. Also, 20% of the thyroid hormone T4 (thyroxin) is converted into T3 (active hormone) in the gut. If the gut bacteria are destroyed, no conversion can take place. The Nurse Practitioner was ignorant of these facts as they know nothing about nutrition, only pharmaceuticals. She also did not seem to have an open mind to learn about it. Another concern on their new patient registration forms which I found alarming was that you are asked if you agree to be videoed and recorded in the doctor's office. Absolutely not as this is an invasion of my privacy. I'm taking my business elsewhere where I expect to be treated with professionalism, competence, courtesy and respect. read more

I had become established with a doctor there who was my primary care. I have multiple health problems, and need ongoing care. We had a good working relationship and I was very pleased with him and the care I was receiving. I needed to see a neurologist and was persuaded to see the one in the group. That was when the problems started. I saw the neurologist twice, and on the second visit we got into an argument. That was a Thursday. The following Monday I received a letter stating that they felt I was not happy with the care I was receiving in the group, and that after 30 days they would cease to provide me care (not just from the neurologist, but also from my primary care doctor, whom I had never had any problems with). Within a week my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer (and died less than three months later). I called the doctor's group and explained what was happening, and that this was an especially bad time for me to be without a primary care doctor. They didn't care! They told me I could no longer be a patient there! I still can't believe how cold, heartless, and inhuman they treated me. If I could give no stars I would. I still sometimes wish I could see the primary care doctor again, because he was great & I really liked him, but after how I was treated, in light of not just my medical problems but also because my husband was dying at the time, I don't think I could ever trust the group in general. read more
