If you're looking for a great place to unwind unravel and relax, with great music and friendly bartenders, Don't be surprised, to meet some of the most interesting , and kind and down to earth people of the gator nation. Who like to have a good time, dancing, singing karaoke, to playing pool or darts and much more. Monday night is karaoke night. And to all the lovers of reggae music, and if you're not a friend to reggae music , feel free to request a different song . Munegins is not ADA accessible and there is no practical or legal reason that it should not be accessible. No handicapped parking, no ramp....nada. Pick and choose battles but the owners should be aware they are legally required to be handicapped accessible. Also - there is no concept of "grandfathering" as an ADA exemption even if the establishment was in business prior to 1992. read more

A complete "it-hole". Will not serve certain beers in pitchers (a scam!) so you need to pay more by ordering by the glass. Nasty drunks, crappy toilets. Good chance of getting knocked about by bikers should you say the wrong thing. Strangers asking me for weapons! Just stay away!!! I always seek out dive bars when I travel and note they are largely disappearing. This one qualifies-- a varied but friendly clientele, mainly local blue collar types, decent drinks served by CUTE, personable bartenders. Regulars of all age groups, not many young college kids. I'm not a karaoke fan, and the one night they had it when I was there, it was the worst I've ever seen/heard -- so bad I had to stay for a bit, like watching a train wreck unfold, My usual thoughts are 'god made showers for people who can't sing', but this was so horrible they couldn't do it at home because the neighbors in the next trailer would object! Update , there is no smoking in the bar anymore. Outside seating is plentyful And they have Cornhole. Recently added is a food truck. No set schedule for that yet but the food is good. This is exactly what you look for in a dive bar. All kinds of people. You'll find yourself sitting next to millionaire dressed in dirty jeans on one side and a spiffily dressed out of work nobody on the other. There are bikers and businessmen. It's dark, but clean, and the bartenders are sexy and efficient. Best priced drinks in town. Do not order a double until you see how strong your first drink is. This is a drinking establishment. And a dark and smokey one, even at 1pm in the afternoon. Takes a few minutes for the eyes to adjust, then you realize that a bunch of the locals are giving you the evil eye while using the other eye to check out the girl you've brought. Well, was brought by... I was there for a benefit. Why the stares? Suspious much? Or guilty much? Or hiding much? I didn't ask. While this place may look a little sketchy, once you get to know the people there it can be quite fun. They offer different drink specials every night of the week along with the best local rock bands around on the weekends and they never have a cover charge. They have a pool table, juke box, darts and video games along with Texas Hold-em poker on Thursdays. They also have nice tv's for your sports viewing pleasure. They host charity events and sometimes have trip giveaways. i.e. - Win a trip to Mexico during their Christmas party on December 23. I'll say up front, this bar is not for everyone. It's dark. You'll be inundated in smoke (I don't smoke cigarettes, but it doesn't bother me. In fact, it's a requirement for a good dive bar). Yes, the patrons there are creepy. It's known for meth heads, hookers, scumbags, and some hardcore bikers that you wouldn't want to piss off. The karaoke or bands are loud, so don't expect too good of conversation. Sometimes the bartenders are surprisingly cute. The beer is reasonably priced, ample parking. Despite the reputation and scuzzy SOB's that are always there, I've had no problems other than some odd looks. Maybe that's because I only go there late at night with friends after Lodge meetings and we're in suits. We definitely stick out. Not as much as one poor soul I recently saw there. Guy in his 30s, drinking all by his lonesome. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I like to get out of the house and enjoy some me time with a few beers and relax, enjoying the peace and quiet. What makes this sad...or interesting..or funny, is that he was dressed like Captain Kirk. Oh yes, full blown trekkie like he just came from a Halloween party....in June. It was wonderfully horrid. I Love the Karaoke every Tuesday & Saturday night, and it's a great place to meet new people. Seems like it could be a cool place... If you carry cash. But if you don't, and want to stop in for Uhhhhhh beer, skip it. I was hit with the old, "we have a $10 minimum on cards." I asked if there was an ATM close and she pointed out the one in the bar that charged a ridiculous fee. I said the minimum was outrageous and she said that "a lot of places have minimums." I told her not really and then she responded with "well our minimum used to $15!" So, at least the policy isn't as shitty as it used to be. Over all, I'd just skip this place. read more

If you are a local, stop on by. This place is pretty cool. Kareoke is awesome, the bands are cool and the bartenders are really nice.

Positives: Affordable drinks & drink specials; Overall friendly bartenders. Negatives: Despite not being a smoker, I'm usually tolerant of it. Still, by the time I finished one beer, I walked out of the place smelling like an ashtray. The restroom was filthy & the bar has a dirty smell to it. Many of the patrons looked rough, in fact there was a fight starting up in the parking lot when I walked out to my car. This is definitely NOT the kind of place to take your date to! I love this place. My parents and I have been coming for years and years. Lindsey awesome bartender. Tiffany also. I went last night and vanessa Cain was the bartender and wss beyond wastedadd rude. I bought shots and drinks for everyone in the bar was having a great time, tipped 40 in cash to the bartenders as I was a bartender for many years so I always respect and take care of mine. Out of nowhere she looked at me and said I don't talk to convicts. I myself did 5 years in prison and have been out 8 years and have not even had a ticket. My husband and I are proud owners of All in 1 Painting LLC and have come a long way. Married, financially stable, proud home owner, and a productive part of society. I have never in my life been disrespected by anyone about my past and for a bartender at a dive bar that is my favorite to disrespect me and many others in the bar like that I was in disbelief. I will never go back as long as she works there neither will my friends family or husband until she is gone. not only was she wasted and I had to tell her how to make every shot I ordered mind you easy stuff jager bombs and vegas bombs. I still paid tipped and was polite. Nobody should judge anybody ever about there past especially a older bartender at a dive bar who has a son on jail for a felony.Its a small town and I know many convicted felons that are regulars there and as long as she is working we won't be regulars anymore. I am a big fan of this place, as I go there whenever I am in town. They support local musicians and host an open jam night on Wednesdays. Emilie is a great afternoon bartender. However, I will not give it a better rating because, one of the evening bartenders Catie, albeit cute, is quite rude telling customers that they don't tip well enough. As a patron, I am entitled to tip what I believe you deserve. Whether you like what I tipped you , or not, does not give you the right to try to make me feel guilty and try to get more money out of me. I am a tipped employee as well. And if my service isn't up to par, I understand not getting 15% or more, as a tip. So, I will be going back to this establishment, but if this particular bartender is working, I will go spend my money elsewhere. Being new to the area I found this place close to home but each time I have gone, theres always some issues. First it was the drink prices which varied from $3.25-$4.75 depending on the bartender, they finally got that straightened out. The ladies bathroom is so small you have to straggle the toilet to open/close the door. Its very dark, LOUD, even w/out a band, not enough bar or table seating, behind the bar looks like it needs a good bleach cleaning. Final straw was when the bartender used MY debit card for another customers bill. Lucky for me I was sitting at end of the bar & NOTICED it was MY Card. They had already ran the amount & couldnt refund the charges SO I had to drink up to the amount that was charged, I was Horrified! I also noticed that the bouncer was charging a cover charge since a band was on stage. There were NO signs outside stating there was a cover charge..Only problem was, he was "Selective" in who he charged. I saw him charge a few guys, then let in a group of 5 without paying. This happened all night. So Was the BAR charging OR was he "pocketing" that money?? After the issue with my Debit card, I will find another place to attend. OR Ill pay CASH... read more
