The first time we went up and asked the people to exchange our cards for tickets like the table says by the arcade. She said in coherent words and kept on saying go see arcade go see arcade. Then we went up a second time and there was a guy there. He said he would send somebody down and we waited 10 minutes and nobody was down there. The third time we went up we were exhausted, but we're still asking nicely for somebody to come down to exchange our cards for tickets. The one was incredibly rude and brushed us off, saying go ahead. Go ahead and leave. Everybody who is hired here was incredibly rude and had no customer service whatsoever. Then he ignored my other daughter and went back to the counter without saying a word. And when my daughter asked for a non-crumpled five dollar bill she said incredibly rude things. "Girl we don't straighten our bills leave I had to go tend to your group anyway." Then she left. Her teeth are crooked and her makeup is patchy. She was also wearing Nike blazers that were disgusting just like her teeth. Big thumbs down that was awful and my daughter cried because she was being so disrespectful. She needs to be fired. If you don't like kids, don't work at a roller rink ment for kids please.

Add on a lackadaisical "hockey director" that shows nothing but contempt for players and can't even be bothered to write up a league schedule, and you'll be pulling your hair out by the end of the first game (if you can figure out when it is). Obviously Suburban Ice is more than willing to take your money, but, prepared to be completely ignored after you sign over the check. The one bright spot is the front office/maintenance staff. The arena is generally clean, the zamboni is fairly quick, given the ice he has to work with, and the ladies behind the front desk are typically very courteous and helpful.

They don't allow water bottles. They claim "it's against the Michigan law." What a joke. Parents are not allowed to help children unless they are also wearing skates. The facility is pretty awesome…read more Inline Hockey Center pretty much always has something going on, and is also home to the Motor City Revive of the National Roller Hockey League. So along with the professional sized inline hockey rink, there is also a smaller rink right behind it that hosts the Michigan Floor Hockey League. I have played here many times, and always have had a fun experience. The facilities are well maintained, the staff is friendly, and the hockey players that I associate with are all top notch people.
