I wish we had a zapzone in Grand Rapids. We really like that they have a true variety of games that fits all types of moods! They have the regular arcade games, glow in the dark putting putt, a rage room, fowling, trampoline park, paint blasts, and go karts! There's something for everyone to do. We came for the a birthday party and we had game cards that were active for 3 hours with unlimited play on the arcade games. We ended up winning 1800 tickets by the time our time expired. We paid extra for the trampoline park and were able to jump for an hour. The trampoline part had a slide, course, zip line, and much more in the back that we didn't get a chance to explore. Two employees at Zap Zone made our experience especially fun, both Davin at the go carts and Harry at the jump pads gave us individualized attention for our little group and personalized our experience so that my four year old grandson thoroughly enjoyed his experience. This place handed out "$10 gift cards" for kids for halloween event then when you go to cash in the gift cards they say you have to buy something to get the $10 off. So they try and pass it as a "coupon" rather than a gift card. Even thoigh the gift card says gift card right on the card itself. Such a scam! Over-priced, drinks and food are crazy expensive. I absolutely LOVE the new location!!! Go-karts, laser tag, trampolines, arcade, bowling, and much more! Staff were very kind, and everything went well. 3.25- staff messed up our orders, didn't give us our $10 arcade add on we paid for with bowling, and honestly the food was terrible. Chicken sandwich made me sick for the rest of the night. Bowling was fun albeit we had a bunch of people just wandering in and out of the lanes that no one seemed to be monitoring. Arcade machines were fun but very pricy. It does have a bar and axe throwing, but if we do another date night, I think I'll stick to high caliber and maybe come back when our son is in a safe range to come here. One of the best arcades I've been to. The glow golf was super cool and fun for all ages. The virtual reality wasn't worth it it seems too early in the process. They have beverages and snacks. My first time at the new zap zone and probably my last. For one the whole place smelled like weed and feet. Not sure if they believe in AC at all either since it had to be at least 75 degrees in there on top of humidity. Went to the bar and got a tequila pineapple... never again. Juice tasted rancid. On top of that a small child projectile vomited MULTIPLE TIMES right next to my friend and I. We will not be back. read more

Great place for a winter outing. Glo golf is a little cheezy with all the landscaping bricks. But it was still wonderful to take my preschooler on a cold day. We loved the three different sections. A few holes were really cool. The bounce house is ridiculously priced given you can jump at jumpin jax all day for $8. The game arcade costs twice as much as other places I've been. But they have a mini bowling area which my son loved! I want one of those machines :) I haven't done laser tag in this new building but I hope to someday soon. I wish they had paid for lockers. Its hard to play games and carry bulky winter coats around. We would probably stay longer if they had that option. read more

It was a fantastic site for kids to visit, and my children had a great time. The only thing I had a concern with was my daughter's safety. Her foot got stuck in the hanging foam bag activity, and she ended up dangling upside down for at least 3 minutes. When one of the workers noticed she was stuck, he rushed over to assist her, but he was unsuccessful. Another worker was called, but he, too, was unable to get her foot out. Then a third person arrived and had to cut the entire bag off to get her down. She fell down with the bag while her foot was still stuck. It was terrifying to see my daughter hanging and screaming in pain. My issue was that after the accident occurred and my daughter was taken down, no management came to check on her to see if she was okay. They all went back to work as if nothing had happened. My daughter's accident was not a key priority for them once she was taken down. They were quite unprofessional. Aside from that, the area is great for youngsters. Just remind your kids not to put their foot in the bag if they don't want to get stuck. read more

Although the prices may at first seem reasonable - what you get for it is not. $5 for the "Bounce House", which is basically just two inflatables in a small room. Oh, and you get a whopping 15 minutes for that. Really? Needless to say the area was completely empty even during a busy time period. What's the reason for the severe time limit exactly? $8 for the trampolines, at least this you get 30 minutes for, however, that is still WAAAAAY less time than other places. Lots of spoiled bratty kids running around and cutting lines and super annoying teenagers talking too loudly about things they are too young to know so much about... BUT I still really like Zap Zone. The arcade area is boring and pointless, but the laser tag game runs fairly long and is a multi-level course. The best part about Zap Zone is the indoor mini-put. It's all black-lighted and neony with cool themes for each hole and is designed for enough of a challenge to make it fun for friends before or after getting drunk. read more

The kids had an excellent time! Lots of fun activities for them to do. However, it was very disorganized and there were not enough workers to man each station. I was also concerned with lack of cleanliness. The women's bathroom had dried urine over the back of the seats and the floors looked dirty. Also, I never saw any sanitizing procedures. they were taking VR headsets of one person and placing them directly onto another. These should be wiped down between each user. My final concern was the large inflatable pad under the slide. It had a rip in it which caused it to collapse when the children landed in it. My child went down the slide and then got wedged between the wall and the inflatable thing bc it deflated when he landed. Thankfully, he wasn't injured. read more

One of our friends had his I-phone stolen from the cubby. I was completely impressed with the staff. They took the time with us to figure out who it was (watched video, looked thru computer files..ect) Turns out he was there yesterday, with his probation officer (smh). Good, fun place but it can get pricey. I would recommend going on tuesday when its half-off night. There Aare plenty of video games, laser tag, glo-putt (very cool design) and bumper cars. For $16 u can choose any 3 of the following activities: laser tag, jumping houses, mini glo golf, mini bumper cars, mini roller coaster etc. only big downer is its expensive, like the bouncy house is $5 for 15 mins. U cant bring any of ur own food or drink so if u want anything u gotta pay $1.60 for a pop or order pizza through them, also expensive. Still well worth it for getting the kids out for a couple hours. I recommend a private room for birthday parties, u have more flexibility with those. Enjoy! read more

Csr showed no concern when told ticket machine did not work properly and a simple fix of an arcade machine I mentioned in return gotten an effortless reply. My son's birthday and our first time going. Kids had fun but it was a waste of money. Suggest some older staff as well as younger... will return to see if it improves. read more
