I finally got in, we sat down &went through everything, I wasn't super comfortable, but I figured I would go ahead and get the epidural shot anyway because I was in excruciating pain & needed it. To get a little personal, I have anxiety when it comes to any medical procedures and I made the doctors aware of the situation so they suggested I get sedation. A week and a half later I finally get in to have my shot done. It was hotter than Hades in that office & was even hotter once you got back in the patient area. The bed they put me in was baking in the sun. It had to be nearly 80° and then they put a warm blanket on me. I sit down and my anxiety rampant. My blood pressure was high. My heart rate was high, and I had a Slightly elevated temperature, which are all symptoms of anxiety. They took my vitals every five minutes in a crowded room with constant beeping a blood pressure cuff going off every minute and then constantly telling me to calm down. As the timer went off every five minutes, I anxiety got worse. My Elevated temperature did go down to 99.4. And if you read the CDC says a fever is considered anything over 100.4. The doctor, then rudely comes over and tells me he cannot continue with the procedure because I must have some sort of infection. And then told me it was not possible to have an elevated temperature from anxiety. I've experienced this numerous times before I have been told by different doctors that it is completely possible to have an elevated temperature due to my anxiety, and I have read numerous studies from medical journals as well as information from the CDC that very clearly states heightened anxiety can cause an increase in temperature. When I explain this, he basically told me I was crazy. It wasn't possible. I have an infection. I have to go home. The minute I get home I take my temperature and it is a cool 98.7°. Just like I said no fever no infection it was caused by my anxiety. I called the office afterwards and ask them if I could reschedule my procedure but with a different doctor and she told me it was against policy and they wouldn't let me do so. After complaining she said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me by the end of the day or at least the next morning at the latest. No call yet. Unprofessional, beyond ridiculous and I would say never come here and never see this doctor again I'm a little worried that he doesn't know that any of that is actually possible. Makes you wonder what else this doctor doesn't know. Do NOT go here! My complaints with this facility are as follows:…read more 1) It is virtually impossible to get someone on the phone. I spent literal HOURS trying to get through. I would go through phone prompt hell to be told, for example, that I was 3rd in line waiting only to either a) have the phone ring over 100 times and then hang up on me or b) I would just be stuck on hold for half an hour. 2) Their changing rooms are just cubicles with curtains on them. I was already feeling distinctly uncomfortable as they were walking around with a workman, discussing what they wanted done. So I quickly took my top off and put on the gown and sat down to take my shoes off, only to then have one of the employees PEEK IN THE CURTAIN AT ME. She asked me, without any trace of embarrassment at getting caught, if I required any assistance. Um, NO, I don't. She then peeked in AGAIN when walking by after my MRI and I was changing back into my clothes. If you do cannot tell if anyone is in the changing room simply by the fact that the curtain is CLOSED, then try knocking or clearing your throat. There is ZERO reason that you should be peeping in on people while they are changing their clothes! 3) The person who did my MRI was nice, but there was zero communication either before or during my MRI as to how long the process would be. My appointment was at 3 and I got there early to fill out paperwork, and I didn't get out of there until after 4:20. I will never go to this place ever again.

I drove 45 minutes to get a chest x-ray. I've used this facility many times and saw 2 people ahead…read moreof me. I'm sick and don't feel well and am short of breath. After nearly an hour wait they ask me if I have any other errands to run and come back in 2 hours! No. I explained my predicament but all I got was an apology with her saying she had hoped to get me in before a scheduled CT but they got here first. I happen to know a chest xray is pretty quick. Why couldn't they tell me when I got there??? I already can't breath and sitting there under the mask was rough. So I took my order and went to Northwest Health at Roosevelt. Won't be back to Franciscan if I can help it.
