The guys came and installed 19 windows, 2 bathroom windows and 2 patio doors in one day and came back the next day to finish up. They also washed the windows and cleaned up afterwards. let me first say that, I was excited to use this company, especially after sharing my concerns and past experiences with window contractors. Unfortunately I will not be using this company nor recommending them for business. Why? I had a scheduled appt that I sqeezed in around my work and kids sport schedule, and the gentleman never showed up, nor was I contacted for a cancellation, etc. After reaching out on my own, Irene informed me that she made a mistake and the company no longer did less than 5 windows (They should've showed up and tried to Upsell more windows. Always show up). If it wasn't worth their time to reach out to me and my family to notify us of updated policies, than I do not see it worth my time to use them for any of their services. I truly hope that the next customers do not go through this, and ultimately I hope that the company would consider this issue, and grow from it. read more

Bar none Murdau construction is one of the most professional I've ever dealt with. Dennis the CEO came out and took the measurements for 2 sliders and one window. Less than 3 weeks 2 installers, who were the best. They arrive at 9:30 AM and worked to 5:30 PM. The old siding on the house had dry rot on two sides. We got 8 estimates, and it was clear to me as soon as John finished his visit that he had given us a very detailed and precise estimate. The estimate included the type of material to be used, the extent of expected damage repair, and a labor and material rate for unexpected issues. John was careful about explaining things on this big job, and did not try to gouge us. He was detailed, professional, and stayed in touch, answering a few questions I had promptly. No other project manager hit all these marks. I was very impressed with him. Yuri and crew were always prompt, professional, and eager to address questions or concerns I had. Every project has issues, and this one had a couple of minor ones, but the real test is how the team deals with them. The crew, led by Denis the owner, was always responsive to my observations and handled every issue immediately. The results are beautiful, really well done. Every day they did a daily clean up, and today, on the final day, they did an extra thorough walk through and clean up. And they finished on budget, on schedule, and with great quality. Although Muradu is based near Sacramento and I am in the East Bay, I would absolutely recommend them. I will not hesitate to call them if I ever needed work like this again. read more

The fact that they are an Elite Preferred Hardy Contractor and a general contractor was important. The staff from the salesman to the project manager to the installers were very good to work with. Remove 50 year old plywood siding and heavy trim. Dry-rot repairs. Installed Hardy lap siding. Installed exterior lights. Clean up. I would use them again for my new siding project. read more

What a great experience we had with this company. We ordered new Pella Windows through Lowes, this company did the installation. It's so nice to have quality contractors that care about you and your home! Their crew, George and Nick were respectful, courteous, left my home as clean as they found it. They did a wonderful install. George said to me when they arrived that I wouldn't know they were here after they were done. So true! It was a perfect install, no touch up painting in our rooms. We had some rot in our wall. It was awful. Muradu Construction gave us an absolutely reasonable quote. They were very communicative and positive. It turned out that we needed some siding that was a bit more expensive than they quoted. But, they did not increase the amount that they charged us. The work was done quickly and immaculately. Muradu Construction, specifically Nick and Paul, far exceeded our expectations in the meticulous, precise work installing two replacement sliding glass doors at our home in Davis. Everyone at Muradu was professional and courteous. Dennis scheduled the installation and let us know whom to expect. Nick and Paul arrived right on time and we were amazed at their efficiency in removing the old doors (10 minutes!) and impressed by the time and attention spent in installing the new ones. We watched the whole process, just because it was something to admire! Superior quality workmanship, every step fitted, checked, checked again, fitted in, secured, next steps check, checked again, etc. with a keen eye throughout the process. They had removed a 3/4 round interior trim wood along the edge of the old slider and the floorboards. When replacing that trim, Nick took it outside, trimmed it and now it fits perfectly, much better than it was before. Plus, they cleaned the opening before fitting in the new frame pieces, removed years of accumulated dust/dirt at the base of the sliders, cleaned the entire frame of the new sliders and screen doors, and even cleaned the new glass sparkling clear as a finishing touch! We have other projects that need doing and plan to call Muradu! read more

My husband and I live in Colorado and we needed some work done on our rental in Galt, CA. I got on Google and found Muradu Construction. I then looked for reviews for them. Their revues were good so I called and spoke to John, their salesman. I told john we needed the siding, insulation, roof redone. We were also putting lights on the garage and out the back door. We ordered the lights mailbox and house numbers delivered to my son. We were doing a refi and after seeing how much we could get we decided to wait on the roof for 3-4 years because that is what John said. We decided to use them. They quoted us a price and started the process. The day they started my son took off work so he could be there. My son called and I asked him if they were doing the insulation. He said what insulation asked the workers and they informed my son there was none. I called Irene and she informed me that insulation would be another $1625.00. We paid because we knew if we didn't we would have none. When it was completed my son sent me pictures and there were no lights on the garage or outside the back door. I called Irene and she informed me that she remembered speaking to me but she would check. She called me back and said she had sent me an email for an addon for the lights and that it was turned down. She then said for another $250.00 they would do the lights. I was not nice at this point. I then talked to john and told him I would not give them a good review. He informed me that I should be careful with poison pen letters. My said said the work was good but with all the addon I would not recommend this company. I feel this is how they make their money, quote low and then add on. read more
