Making an appointment is very easy, they have tons of openings and sometimes you can even be seen within the week. Katie is very nice and informative of what is happening. She really listens to your concerns and will provide the best treatment possible. Sometimes they may not work on the first visit but she is always willing to keep trying to provide a solution. While others passed on an issue I was having on my face, she had a hunch something was wrong, cut it off, and sent it to the lab for analysis. It ended up being skin cancer! I will definitely recommend Katie!

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing…read more J recommended a filler treatment and assured me it would noticeably soften my nasolabial folds and last up to two years. I trusted that--but saw little improvement. At my follow-up, she walked that back and said the results were only about 10% better. Dr. Ann then said they never should have promised two-year results and offered to "fix" it at half price using filler that was about to expire. That felt unfair given the original promises. When I asked that it be corrected at no cost, I was shrugged off and told to go write a bad review. I left feeling dismissed and upset.

At my last appointment, I was sold their in-house ointment that evidently contained an allergen of mine that is in my patient record and has been since I first started going there. No one took the time to apparently check before handing it off to me. I had to return on my own time in the middle of a work day to return the medication. Not to mention, when I was called for in the waiting room for my appointment, they called me by the completely wrong name (they literally called me "Jezebel", not even close to my actual name, and when I informed them, there was no apology. The tech just entered a different version of my name in my notes "so they would know how to pronounce it next time"-- incredibly rude as someone who already deals with people mispronouncing my name often.) Now I'm dealing with an unauthorized charge to my primary payment method for the bill from my last appointment, even though I had already paid them with my HSA card as soon as I received the claim from my insurance. I called multiple times to speak to a manager after speaking with billing (which was incredibly unhelpful and did not reverse the card charge as they claimed they would). No one would route me to a manager or claimed a "case manager" would get back to me (they never did), and each person I spoke to on the phone had a very poor attitude despite this being a correction on their end. I ended up emailing them with a thorough explanation of the situation, requesting reversal of the unauthorized charge and asking to see the policy/consent form which states they are allowed to charge my card without my express authorization. I received a passive aggressive one sentence email in response saying my charge would be reversed in 24 hours (with zero comment on the unauthorized nature of the charge or evidence of any policy that allows them to do so on my behalf). No apology for the inconvenience, no confirmation or proof, just one sentence reply. Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and unnecessary difficulty in issue resolution from a medical care facility. I can't say I want to return after going through this.

I had a conglomeration of blood vessels on one finger that another physician couldn't seem to get rid of-it kept coming back. Dr. Murakawa removed it surgically and that was that. And, to top it off his prices are very competitive for various procedures. And his staff are top notch. So you have a man at the top of his field, doing great work, being very approachable and personable, easy to schedule and his prices are competitive-why would you go anywhere else for a Dermatologist?

I wonder if he treats all his patients like this or just the female patients? It is very suspicious how young and pretty ALL the staff are. I only saw 2 women over the age of 30. That speaks volumes! Dr. M barely talked to me before prescribing me medication. He kept trying to leave the room while I was still talking to him. I asked him a question, he shrugged and walked away without answering me! The medication he gave me was very strong and hazardous to take. Dr. M didn't discuss the medications many side effects, many drug interactions (one of which I had), risks of taking the medication (which include cancer!), or handling instruction (you are not suppose to handle the medication with bare hands!). I had serious side effects. He told me to keep taking the medicine because the side effects will go away. After 2 more weeks on the medication I was bedridden and almost hospitalized from side effects. I went to see him about it, the first thing he said was "I don't need to hear about it" because I was just dehydrated. I told him that the Mayo Clinic website says these are symptoms of a severe reaction to the med. He told me "Everything is a side effect" and that it wasn't from the medication. And told me I could do "Whatever I wanted." WHAT?!?! I consulted another specialist. They were shocked and told me to spot talking the medication immediately because I was on the verge of having a heart attack (even though I am young and health). WORST DOCTOR!!

These are the pros: really liked Dr. Stephanie Diamond. I've been seeing dermatologist for over 30yrs and she was the first one to recommend both sunscreen and lotion that work with my rosacea, and don't cause my skin to itch, dry out, or feel greasy! Thanks Doc! I also appreciated that she gave me a bunch of coupons for new products. Cons: As I was working that day I made an appt. for 7:30a assuming I'd be the first patient there. Nope. I arrived to find at least 4 other people in the waiting room. After waiting more than 30mins I was shown into a room. Chatted w doc for a few minutes before she left to have me answer more medical paperwork questions w an assistant. I had filled out my paperwork online before arriving, but the medical staff wasn't made aware of that, which caused my wait time to be even longer. I did mention to the assistant that I think I accidentally wrote down the wrong amt of mgs for one of my prescriptions and she said I'd have to fix that at the front desk...? Why? She was literally checking my medical history. And I want going to discuss my medicine at the front desk in front of an office full of people. Because of the medical paperwork snafu and the fact that more patients had arrived I waited and waited for the doctor. All told I was there for over an hour. Not a great first impression; will stay w my current derm.

Having managed this condition for 17 years, I provided a transparent history of treatments that have failed. Completed all necessary request he asked of me blood work, etc. Despite this, Dr. Nelson disregarded my history and prescribed the same ineffective medications. Furthermore, I have waited over seven weeks for a specific medication discussed during my visit. Despite following up with assistants and the practice manager, I have received no resolution and was told she has to side with the doctor. This was a complete waste of my time. Requiring me to take time off work for repeated visits--only to wait two hours in the lobby without receiving the necessary care is unacceptable. So if you have a serious condition and you are seeking effective care, don't go here.
