This is hands down the coolest pub everrrrr!. Recommend making reservations online and requesting a ted lasso table! We scored big time and got THE ted lasso table! Service was amazing here, we were a little earlier than our reservation but we were able to get it in! And imagine our surprise when nick led us over to the ted lasso booth (i was so surprised, i didnt even KNOW there was this themed ted lasso booth!!). Very cool to see the photos and kit front the show! Food was great, beer was awesome, ambiance was incredible. Definitely a must do in Richmond!

I was recovering from a mild cold and was so happy to see their options for a fresh juice with turmeric and fruit. The pancakes were so perfectly cooked, soft and crispy edges plus the fresh fruit on top made it even better. My husband really enjoyed his full English breakfast as well. One of favorite food experiences while we were visiting the area of Richmond.

I did eventually find out that this wasn't the case but nonetheless, the Bill's restaurant chain has gone from strength to strength and they've been popping up all over London Some friends and I popped in here for dinner before a movie at the Odeon next door. The restaurant is cleverly divided into areas by grills and you'll find produce that you can buy scattered around the restaurant The menu consists of British classics with modern twists, mainly with unusual ingredients. It is a well written menu and I can see why the restaurant is successful. By the way, they serve food al day from breakfast to afternoon tea to dinner We shared chicken liver parfait and deep fried calamari to start. Both were solid and a good start to the meal. Oh, forgot to mention an amazing chocolate brownie milkshake. Yup, read that, ignore the guilty thoughts of the calorie count and order one. It tastes as good as it sounds! For mains, it was caramelised pork belly, duck pie and fish pie. Again, all solid though the duck pie could have done with more duck. The most interesting dish was their version of eton mess served with mango and passion fruit rather than the usual strawberry. It was a genius re-imagination Bill's is a solid food destination

I had decent eggs benedict although they were a little cold, I think they may have been forgotten in the kitchen for a while. From what they offered, there was a superb choice of food and certainly more than enough to satisfy the toughest eater. Food was served to our group and what appeared was a total delight. Portions were exceedingly generous, arrived looking extremely inviting and tasted superb. Staff are brilliant and could not have done more to assist, or make our evening more enjoyable. I returned yesterday (Wednesday, May 03), to attend lunch with two friends. Our meal was equally excellent and once again the service was spot on. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and I will be returning here again and again, without question.

Our reservation was for 3pm and a few of us got there early so we grabbed a drink at the bar whilst they prepped our table (they do a couple of sound local ales so some of us went for those). The bar was busy, but not cramped, though very family-friendly, so if you're intent on a quiet pint with no kids acting up, this is probably not the place to go for Sunday lunch! When we'd all arrived we were taken through to the annex where we had a huge long table with plenty of room. The room was gorgeous, with chandeliers and a huge open fire crackling away. The menu was pretty substantial and we all ordered something different, deciding on a two course (main and dessert) option, but you could stretch to three if your budget and stomach capacity allows. The food was very good indeed (see photos). Service was efficient and friendly, they really do have excellent staff there. We stayed for nearly four hours which is testament to how much we liked it in there. Tip: The Crown has a car park but it's small and awkward, so it'd be best to either get there early to secure a spot or try and circle round the residential side streets for a space. otherwise

Tried 3 or 4 times to catch a staff member's eye but to no avail, after 15 minutes I went to the bar to ask someone to please take our order. Maybe they realised how poor an experience we'd had to that point but from then on, the service improved dramatically. Found the food very enjoyable and the desserts were divine. Not sure if I'd visit again as parking is awful in the area and there's a branch closer to me which I hadn't realised so will probably try that one next time. Our group had chicken with wild mushrooms (I cleaned my plate), fish pie and a veggie dish, for dessert we had apple & rhubarb crumble, banoffee doughnuts (these were to die for) & ice cream. We found the decor of the restaurant to be quite charming.

One of my favorite pub experiences while visiting London…read more The man at the door helped us find a table in a very crowded first floor room. We learned early on in London that pubs have dining rooms upstairs which usually require a reservation and then the bottom floor is for drinks and meals picked up from the bar. This visit was about stopping in for a pint and grabbing a bite to eat. After acquainting ourselves with the bar menu we ordered food at the bar and were served fairly quickly. All three of us enjoyed our meals but what was memorable for me was I had the best fish and chips here. The versions I had afterwards were not as tasty. The first floor was hoping and lively and loud so if you're looking for quiet this isn't it. Was great for people watching and hearing other people's conversations.
