Owner-NO INTEGRITY. didn't apologize or take responsibility. Instead he wanted to "sever the relationship". we ain't dating! FIX THE PROBLEM. He would rather refund me more money than reimburse me for the bolts i got from the dealer down the road. SMH sh*t happens in a shop...i know that more than most...but what defines the character of a shop is how they deal with it. Obviously the owner, Eben doesn't care for his customers.

I brought the car into another mechanic who had the car up and running in a little over an hour. This mechanic said the mechanic at Amigo Tire and Auto made the car think it was being stolen and so shut everything down which is why Amigo tire was unable connect to the computer. Additionally, he said the ignition problem was common with the Honda Fit and that the ignition parts were easily rebuilt and that Amigo Tire replaced the ignition parts unnecessarily. At best Amigo Tire's mechanic is either completely uninformed about the task he took on or the establishment is completely unscrupulous. I believe its both.

Upon visiting with Craig, he emphatically instructed his team to make sure our vehicle was ready by noon the next day - a day before we told him we needed to return to Oklahoma. The work was completed well before noon even, and the cost was very reasonable. Craig, the owner, was so personable, which I don't often experience with shop owners. He offered some helpful tips for our vehicle maintenance, asked about our travels and even recommended a great local restaurant! Great, quick, professional service!

I had a slow leak in a back tire that two other garages said was nothing--just a Toyota faulty gauge. So I dropped of the car at 8:15 on Saturday morning. They said they would have it ready in about 90 minutes--they were a bit busy. I walked home, showered, took the dogs for a walk and returned to pick up my RAV-4. Ready as promised with a screw which had been removed the rear tire. All good to go. I was charged $20, a great value. But most of all, this shop was honest, friendly and competent. I got the service I needed for a very fair price. Ranger is the mechanic and such a nice guy. We talked about his wife of 42 years who passed away last fall. He has a photo of this beautiful lady at his desk. I was super impressed with this competent and friendly shop. I don't live in Santa but visit here often and would definitely return. I am super happy to have found this tire leak before I head out next week on an eleven hour road trip.
