I was craving some fry bread so after we filled up we went back there and I got my fry bread and hubby got a Navajo taco. This hit the spot and we even had left overs, both were so big. Check them out if you take this exit go to the second gas station (smaller of the two) that's where they are at in the back. They have inside seating and take a break from the road get out of the wind and grab some food and drink. They even make pizza here!

The previous choices were far away, horrendous, all run down, broken pumps, dirty or inop restrooms and filled with vagrants. This NEW Marverik has plenty of pumps and a great convenience store plus easy to refuel the rental car before dropping it back to the airport rental car center. Take Exit 222A Gibson Blvd E which is just before the airport heading south on I-25.

The building looks like a an Indian pueblo, not some run-of-the-mill convenience store! I suspect that the owners live above the place. It's one of the tallest gas stations I've ever been to. It's located along the main road into town, right next to the Jemez Pueblo Indian Reservation Welcome Center, by some red cliffs. The soil here is so red, it looks like rust or the surface of Mars. The restrooms are located outside, in a separate cinder block building. They were clean. They have local events here, like selling BBQ plates for a cause. It seems to be part of the community around here. Not only do they have gas here, but offer water and air for the tires. Just watch your speed through here.

Out front I noticed ample parking at around 2PM, but I can envision this place getting super crowded during bigger holidays. But then again, maybe not because I remember gasping, rolling my eyes, & thinking to myself "yeah f***in' right $4.20 for unleaded." Pssssshhhh... The clerk, while nice to the old woman in front of us, was a bit cold and strange during our encounter. Actually, he talked to & looked at my girls more than he did me even though I was the paying customer in the outfit. Big f***ing red flag with me. Then he didn't give me a receipt. I couldn't believe some candy, two small pizzas, snacks, and four drinks cost me nearly $38, but there that is. I just wanted out and shuffled my girls in front of me back to my vehicle. Dunkin' Donuts has a small little stand inside. It was pretty much depleted by that point in the day. Nah. Hard, quick pass for me next time - I'll abstain from stopping here ever again.

Out of many years of gas station and truck stop stops, this visit…read morestands out as outstandingly bad on two fronts: 1) major chaotic pile-up of vehicles at the pumps. rolling in and backing in from all directions, major confusion. seems they really need to fix the layout or create signage to direct people. 2) really bad quality / old / broken loudspeaker above pumps, and ceiling speakers inside, blasting terrible crotch-rock. Worst audio assault I've heard at a truck stop or gas station.
