On this Speedway trip I was heading to the Milwaukee area to catch the Red Bull event. It's conveniently located off the highway. I think the hidden gem of this place is the gas pumps behind the building. I even tried out the new Laredo Tacos that are replacing most of the Speedy Cafe's. Their breakfast tacos aren't bad but the quality compares to hotel breakfast food. I will say the shelves are stocked. Staff is sub par, bathrooms are fair. Not the best location but it is convenient at least!

But the owner is rarely in the store. They do everything possible not to issue the refund. If you are an out of towner you are out of luck. I called many times, and made several trips to get the refund. Sometimes they hang up and sometimes they don't pick the telephone at all if they know you calling about a refund. After about ten calls and four trips, they gave me partial refund. Very unethical business.

I had put them on the bottom of the table right near her to scan so it shouldn't have been a problem. Then she tell me in a n abrasive sharp tone not to do that. She seemed tired, cranky and disheveled (not looking great and appeared disorganized). She didn't have an name tag and refused to give her name when asked. I don't have any problems over here with the morning staff at all or the evening! This woman must have been unusually cross but she isn't my mother and she better chill. I had my son with me too.
