As a Filipino, I approve their ube; it's not like the "ube"/vanilla with food coloring from Trader Joe's. Sidenote: I love Trader Joe's overall, but the majority of their ube products are terrible. I hate describing people by the way they look, it seems rude, but she was of a shorter stature, and had glasses, and short lavender &baby pink hair. I believe her name was Hannah. And she flipped a really, extremely terrible day I was going through, into one where I was now looking at the positive possibilities for my child and myself. I work in the customer service industry as well, and people don't realize a simple gesture of goodness such as this, and a smile goes a really long way. That's what service is. It's not that she even helped me out with my order, but rather she could tell I wasn't doing so good and said she hoped my day gets better along with a sincere smile, that I will be coming back. I also want to say Alex and Maureen(spelling) have been great every time I go there too.
