I recently rented two pieces of equipment from Murray's Tool Rental. The fees were fair and the staff was friendly, very accommodating, and more than helpful. Great prices, friendly service, excellent products. I shopped around for a rototiller to rent since we're expanding the garden. My father-in-law recommended Murray's, and their prices were much better than other places. I was pleasantly surprised to see they were open on Good Friday, and we headed down after calling to make sure they had some available. The clerk and I talked about what model I needed for what I had to do, and in a few minutes had the tiller loaded on our truck. It worked well, and we got things done quickly. Fantastic group of guys at this place, this is the place where you should go to rent tools if you're within thirty miles. We had to rent a post hole auger, and were able to get one, last minute on a saturday, right away with no waiting. Also, with them being closed over the holiday weekend, we were able to keep it all weekend long for a one day rate. The only things that would make it better would be better prices, and a delivery service. read more

I've been coming here for 15 years. I came here the day I closed on my house to rent tools and, that day I began the "pre move in rehab" work. Those visits were often. Always good. Every person at the counter knows everything and they enjoy helping. Also, when I return, there's always someone else already walking toward the truck to help unload. This last trip was a simple power snake. Behind the counter was a man I hadn't met. I was not surprised that he was cut from the same cloth. Nice man. Nice talker. A younger man was also there. A super great neighborhood tool rental place! The guys are helpful and know their stuff. I have rented small items like wallpaper steamers, medium items like post hole diggers and even large towable equipment like bobcats. I am a week-end DIY-er and find this place much more user-friendly than the big box stores. read more
