I've had my ups and downs in office, but overall when I look at it all, this is the office for me. They do sometimes not explain billing super well. But they have payment options which is nice, and their one of the few offices that works with government insurance. There was one cruel tech, but they fired her pretty fast it seemed because she was in multiple complaints for her cruel behavior. Which made me respect the office immensely. It showed they understand the struggles people go through that lead to teeth issues. They could've probably easily told me dentures, but they didn't. They took their time fixing each tooth, they were always kind throughout, and I am so thankful for all they do and have done. I've noticed some even now with use a numbing gel and then the numbing agent which is nice. I have a high pain tolerance but still, a little less pain in this world ain't so bad! I definitely have had moments when my disorder has acted up there, but they kinda seem understanding of it. They'll give me a second when I'm anxious. They let me pause. They fight insurance for coverage. Now I'm finally making more and will be moving insurance, and be able to afford treatments outside what the government allows, which makes me even more grateful because i know they know what they're doing. In all my years of having dental problems Dr Foronda is by far the best I have ever been too. Dr foranda has two locations but I like this location the best as it is easier to get to for me. Dr Foranda's staff are all amazing and the facility is beautiful and well maintained. A periodontist is a more educated oral surgeon. I've been coming to the small Gurtner Dental offices for dental care all of my life, so I've had…read moreboth of the Gurtners - Maggie and Stephen - as my dentist at different points (one works primarily with kids, the other adults). They're definitely a great pair; I can only assume that I don't outright hate or fear going to the dentist as much as the average American because I've had relatively good experiences with these two. I won't even pretend that I've always been the best at taking care of my teeth (boy, was I a challenge to deal with when I had braces and did absolutely nothing in the ways of caring of my teeth!), but they don't hold it against me (openly anyway). These days though my visits are actually usually fast and pretty painless, with the occasional additional matter that requires a little more than a basic check-up. Whenever I come in the staff is always interested in hearing about new developments in my life, which is sweet of them. And the office, which isn't the biggest place in the world never seems too packed or noisy, which is a plus in my book considering that I can be a little stressed waiting for my appointment to start as I hope there isn't a new problem with my teeth. I definitely think this is a great little business run by a great pair of people, and I totally recommend this office to anyone in the area who's looking for a new dentist.
