BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Purchased a Thompson seedless grape vine and upon ripening it was full of seeds - we dug it out and threw it away - what a waste of a year of time and care! During the time while grapevine was growing (before we knew it wasn't a Thompson seedless) we also bought a Washington naval orange tree. It showed dwarf on the tag but Mike assured us it WASNT a dwarf and was a semi dwarf or standard (which is what I was looking for) no matter what the tag said! Well, now after nearly a year of care and fuss over this orange tree we pick the first orange and it is FULL OF SEEDS!!!!! So now I call Mike and tell him all that is written above and he laughs and says wow do you have bad luck!!! My bad luck was shopping at this small local nursery!!! So my husband gets on the phone. Mike stops laughing. Oh what? More fun trying to intimidate a woman? After some convo w my husband, Mike requests pics and says "he will see what he can do!" So we sent these pics to #951-679-0664, where he requested we send them. Requesting he respond to us. We haven't heard back! Based on the prior grapevines and then the orange tree being mislabeled we don't trust any kind of replacement tree but a full refund. Don't trust Mike! Here are the pics we sent to Mike. I sent an email to Murrieta Oaks Nursery asking them if the could add color to the slope in my backyard. Mike responded back, "sure, we can do that!" He asked me to send photos of the planting area so I did. A small yard to the left for a tree and color plants on the slope by my pool. After a couple days I emailed him again. No reply. And again a few days later. No reply. The courteous thing would be to have emailed me back that you couldn't, or didn't want to do it. No reply means I don't need your business. I read more

I called this place last week for availability on a specific plant. I was running some errands today and decided to stop by when I noticed that their gates were locked. I called and the person answered the phone as if I was calling a home, I had him on speaker while my daughter was in the car and asked him if they were open today... he condescendingly said: "It's raining we are not open!" I said hey buddy how am I supposed know that you are closed... then drove to another outdoor nursery to purchase what I needed! This donkey did not deserve my business, I guess some outdoor nurseries are open when it rains as it's not the end of the world, lol. read more

Went in today to buy a plant for my parents before visiting them on Thanksgiving and was impressed! Mike showed me some great indoor plants and helped me pick something my Mom would like and be able to maintain without too much work. I must say the office needs a some work, to be a little more inviting, but overall I found the nursery to be a very friendly, helpful place for anyone looking for something for their Mom or for big home projects. Our family drove to the nursery and we weren't sure where we could park so my husband got out of the car to ask someone who was sitting in a golf cart type of vehicle. The guy in the cart was chatting with another man standing there. The one in the cart had his back to us but I'm sure he could here us drive up to him as we were within a few feet. Both men totally ignored us so my husband got up to stand near them. They continued to ignore us! If they would have at least said "we'll be right with you" or something! After 3-5 minutes of my husband waiting to be acknowledged, I called to him and said "let's go, they don't want our business". read more

I like to garden and love the great advice I get at this nursery. I am worried about mosquitos on my condo patio and Mike recommended I plant Pelargonium graveolens and lemon grass to help discourage the pests. Forget those fast plant places and stick with a nurseryman/woman!!! read more
