Found this nursery through Facebook Marketplace. After a few weeks of research, I believe this place had the cheapest price and value for the type of fruit plants I was looking for. I contacted through FB Messenger (Bill?) as well as text messages. After a hour drive, I ended up with a rio red grapefruit, oro blanco grapefruit, hass avocado, olallieberry and blueberry plants. I was told by Bill that the olallieberry grows good since I was looking for another berry plant. In person, I was slightly disappointed because it didn't have any flower or fruit but my girlfriend encouraged me to just get it. I'm hoping it will show signs of fruiting soon because my blackberry and blueberry plants are already fruiting. All 5 plants still needed a little bit of pruning at home because some or part of the leaves were eaten by unknown pests. Ended up with 4 mosquito bites as well. My only complaint would be the employee there didn't speak or understand much English. The good thing was another customer arrived shortly after, spoke Spanish and helped us translate. GPS to the address was correct for the most part except where it ends. It will take you to a locked gate just a little bit past the orange cones. Instead of following GPS all the way to the end, look for the orange cones and park on the dirt road to the side. The orange cones is where the entrance is at. I may be back for other fruit plants in the future. read more

I inquired about a specific tree and was given the size and price over the phone. Based on that information, I drove 40 minutes to make the purchase. When I arrived, I discovered they had placed 5-gallon plants into 15-gallon buckets and were selling them at the higher 15-gallon price. I ended up buying the tree anyway because I didn't want to leave empty-handed. Afterward, I contacted the owner, who initially said she would make it right. But when I asked what she specifically planned to do, she stopped responding. This kind of misleading and unprofessional behavior is bad business. I don't recommend this place and won't be going back. read more

Large selection, good value. If in need of multiples, this is the place. They are too far for single purchases. Attendant will drive you to the plant location and in my case helped load into my car. The owner is very nice, just text her and she'll get back to you with the information needed. read more

HUGE selection of every plant & fruit tree you can imagine (2,000+)! It's easy to get lost in the nursery, but luckily it wasn't too busy & the attendant today was very helpful. He drove us to the fruit trees & helped us find what we wanted, & drove us back to our cars. Many trees were in full bloom & fruiting. I repotted my 2 lemon & 1 cherry tree I bought today & their root systems were very healthy. Very happy with the varieties, prices & service. The owner wasn't there but messaged me great directions & info about her nursery prior to my visit today. Sadly her husband is going through cancer treatment so she wasn't on the premises, which is understandable. It's worth the drive & time if you are looking for trees, shrubs, palms, succulents, & fruit trees. Plan on spending time navigating the nursery because there's a lot to see. read more

Love! Huge nursery that is primarily organic. I came here on a Saturday afternoon to look for citrus trees. I live quite a distance away and thankfully was not disappointed when we arrived. We saw a huge variety of citrus fruit from mandarins, tangerines, lemons, oranges, Mexican limes, etc. A lot of the plants already had fruit on them. Each 5 gallon size was $25. I purchased a variety of trees and also got a really nice star tree. Unfortunately the owner Bill is going some health issues so they are not open everyday. The dates and hours vary. It's best to call or send a text. I would also recommend using the bathroom before coming since there is only a port a potty on-site. Other than that I really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend. read more

Only 1 of the three plants I got survived and even that is struggling. The persimmon/apple plants were dead. I have planted fruit trees from other nurseries and HD/lowes and they are doing great/bearing fruits. Def not worth the drive. read more

I do not recommend this nursery. The owner is not around and the workers are not helpful. It is a massive ground with too many plants. Many plants are diseased or half-dead looking. The plants are not labeled and not in organized section. You just have to trust them giving you the right one. Two of the fruit trees that I got from them is not the variety that I requested. I only found out after 2 years seeing the fruit. It was cheaper than HD/Lowes but now they raised the prices so it's about the same. It was not worth the drive and my 2 years effort! I'm so mad! Wow this is truly one of Temecula's secrets. If the plants and trees in your yard don't look as healthy and beautiful as mine then I gonna tell you a secret. The catch is that you have to share it. I found this wonderful nursery on Craigslist kind of thought it was out of the way but it really wasn't. When I first went I was overwhelmed with the beauty and the quality of plants that was at this Nursery. Rosalind and her husband have been running this nursery for years and every plant on the property she has knowledge of. And she's not going to sell you something that she wouldn't use herself. If you haven't been here I definitely would recommend that you take a trip. All the plants trees and succulents are way below cost. If you paid $25 at Home Depot or Lowe's or your local plant nursery in Temecula or Riverside than you paid too much. I was so shocked to find that her fruit trees were only $11.99. And they are not little twigs. Full grown plants. Rosiland and the staff are very nice, professional and exceptionally knowledgeable on plants. The drive is quite a ways from the freeway but the drive through the hills is beautiful! It looks like you are driving through Italy! The pricing is amazing! You can get 5 gallon plants for $10.00! The owners (Rosalyn and Adam) are friendly and provide the best service. They also were able to strategically place 40 plants in a small truck bed! This place is huge and I recommend if you are looking to landscape your property, take a big truck and trailer, because that is what we are doing when we go back! read more

I just got back from this place. It is a bit of a drive to get there, but the prices are insanely good! It's very large, and it's not the best place to go browsing through because a lot of the plants aren't marked. This keeps the price down... way down. So here's what you should do: Get together a list of the plants you want and call them or just bring the list with you. They'll be able to tell you if they have the plants. It's best to write down the latin name because they know those well and the common name that you know for the plant might not be what they know it as. They'll go out into the grounds with a golf cart and pick up that plants you want and then bring them to the front for you. Then you can pay for them and load up your car/truck. I just picked up a dozen 4" (the pot size, not the plant size) star jasmine plants for only $2 each and a couple 5-gallon Hong Kong Orchid trees for only $10 each. If you find a plant in your neighborhood or somewhere else that you really like, but you don't know what it is, bring in a few leaves or something and they can probably identify it. read more

So much more than a nursery, tree and plant farm. It is a fantastic adventure every time I go. I been maybe half dozen times in last few year. First time I was drag there by a very good friend. Her 8 year old and I tried to talk our way out of going...didn't work. We went and once there it was like a great nature walk . They have 35 or so acres to walk or they will drive you around in golf cart. So many things to see, just select trees or plants you want and they will gather all and take to your vehicle. 0 Adam a black lab will join you if he's not busy eating. Best hidden Gem! Owners are knowledgeable, they have healthy plants for the best prices. Only wish they were open more often.

Firstly they are not opened on a set schedule you must call or text for hours, which was alittle wierd but ok, and second they only accept cash or check. No debit or credit cards and the closest atm is 7 miles away. We found Hall's on an offer up ad and safe to say it exceeded our expectations. Depending on where you drive in from the drive can be long but the last road up is paved with huge trees and beautiful homes. Dont blink because you will miss the turn. We were greeted by literally I feel the most adorable greeter ever her black lab Adam who hung out with us for a few hours as we wandered around checking out the plants and picking our choices. The owner isn't entirely polite alittle crass and kinda almost condescending when you ask questions about pricing or the plants because shes got so many they arent all labeled. If you cant find what you're looking for here then just stop and go home, they have everything you are looking for. It's my new favorite place! I read the other reviews....I find Rosalyn to be a very nice woman and great at what she does. I came with a list, and she supplemented my list with great suggestions, after I had explained what I was looking for. I'm planting a huge slope and want easy, colorful, drought resistant, low maintenance plants. I came home with tons of stuff I didn't know I needed. And I spent only $160 on well over 60 plants. It's been a week and they all look healthy and happy on my hill. A couple items on my list were not at her nursery, and she offered to get them for me. I went back today for more (slope is bigger than I thought). Again, we got friendly, knowledgeable help and great suggestions. The best part of the place is the giant black lab, Adam. He is so mellow and greets everyone. To the delight of my 2 year old and 12 year old, he followed us around the nursery for a long time, accepting as many kisses from the 2 year old as he gave back. This is a great nursery in the beautiful hills of DeLuz. Rosalyn is very friendly and strives to take care of everyone. She seems to have a very wide range of inventory and can special order anything. Just today they helped us pick out all the plants we needed for our hill in our backyard. They are always healthy plants and trees. And the owners and staff know everything about every plant. They tell you what will and won't do well where you are planning on putting it. And they just make you feel very welcome while you are there. Plus we have kids and their dog Adam is AMAZING!!!!! Halls Plant Nursery is what I would call a mixed bag experience. Certainly their prices are very good and you can find some good deals there. I purchased 3 Golden Bamboo plants there and they have done very well. I also bought, what I was told by Rosalyn, was a Black Mission Fig. Well lo and behold I come to find out it is a Kadota fig. Much to my wife's dismay. I cant wait to see what my Fuyu persimmon finally produces (if and when it fruits). My point is this, if you know exactly what you are looking for you might find it here at a very reasonable price. But, be prepared to spend a lot of time picking thru the plants to find a good one. I found my favorite nursery. Oh my gosh, this place is enormous. Rosalyn was very accommodating. A couple of guys in a golf cart will assist to bring your selected plants to the entrance or just let them know what you need, and they will get it for you. You can wait in the front. But I enjoyed walking around this nursery including my kids. She has an amiable dog. My kids loved him. I bought nine fruit trees and a couple of succulents and only spent about $100. I went to Lowes last week and paid $75 for only three fruit trees in the same size as the fruit trees I got from Rosalyn. I wished I discovered this nursery much earlier. But I'm coming back here. It's a beautiful drive there, and you could possibly be greeted by the friendliest dog ever (Adam), but it leaves a lot to be desired. Once you get past the front entrance, the grounds are pretty run down and overgrown with weeds (even the potted plants have so many weeds in them). 95% of the "million plants" aren't labeled with names or pricing, so you have to track down the owner on her golf cart, Roselyn, to get any info. Once you get her attention, she's not very friendly and customer service oriented, so keep your expectations low. Her responses to your inquiries about plant names, etc are condescending with a demeaning tone, especially if you have multiple questions. You would think she would perk up considering you drove to the middle of no where and you're there to buy her neglected plants. She reminds me of a grumpy New Yorker who's sat on too many cacti and should just retire. Regarding the quality & pricing of the plants - as soon as I left this place with my $100 cash only purchase, I compared her pricing to Lowes. Overall, Lowes was cheaper (except for the $2 succulents) and had better quality plants. They had no weeds in them, all had nice green leaves and no cracked pots. I'd only go back there to play with their dog and MAYBE buy some more $2 succulents, but that's about it. I could overlook all the cosmetic issues the property & plants have, but Roselyn is just too sour. Overall, I go to Lowes or another nursery closer to the freeway. read more

I absolutely adore coming to Hall's plant nursery. We used to live in the Temecula Valley and was thrilled to fine Rosalyn & Bills garden of Eden for the short-sale disaster of a home (complete with dead yard) that I had bought. Rosalyn guided me on what types of plants would thrive in that climate and even helped me choose which type of wine grapes put in a small vineyard with the exact varietal for the valley's climate. Now that I have moved 120miles north, I still make the effort to return to the De Luz plateau to get Bill & Rosalyn's advice & council on which plants to get for my new coastal acre garden. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, however, if you arrive late on a weekend day don't expect them to ignore customers who arrived BEFORE you and to cater to your every whim..like the angry Swak J. person...who obviously doesn't recognize the amazing place, great prices & expert help they consistently offer. I try to arrive early and enjoy the experience & extra care they have to offer. They help me select & carry my huge purchase to my truck & they carefully packed it for me. Each and very plant survived 120 miles in the back of my pickup truck on the freeway ride home! Three cheers for the Hall's!!! read more

We spent over $600.00. Apprently the fruiting trees we got were different than the ad. We were told because they are so large, just ask what we want and they would bring it up. We were told we would have fruit right away. The trees are in their second season and two have yet to give fruit. Nor do we know what they are, as two other trees are not what we asked for. We got apples but not Pippins, do not know what kind. Asked for a yellow peach and was told how many different varieties of yellow peach there is. When we got fruit, they were white peaches! The bluberry bush was a couple of twigs and never did anything. We bought one from Lowes and had blueberries within a month at half the price. The twig finally died. Will not go bakc and will not recommend. read more

We buy in large amounts for farms. She gives us the oldest plants she has. Some of them of very little roots. Some of the plants for way over priced. She also gives us attitude like if we were going to steal from her. Not happy at all. I would like to warn if your buying large quantities. read more

I purchased about 20 plants about a year ago and only half are still alive today. I may not be an expert gardener, but I have never had that kind of results ever. A lot of their plants have been in pots a really long time and are root bound. Others are just not that healthy and no matter what you do they never make a comeback. Better off going to Armstrong, Home Depot or Lowe's where you may pay more but at least they guarantee their plants. Cheaper in a long run and a lot less work. read more
