Many times I have had to wait 10 minutes while other members sit at the machines and scroll. . It's rude and selfish. If the walked the floor they would see this and instruct these people about gym etiquette. On the other hand two staff members who seem to be in management positions are rude and kind of lazy. It's disappointing to see younger people with such poor work ethics.

I took full advantage and had a personal training session with Travis, who was AWESOME, and offered some great tips that I hadn't heard before. If you can book with him, definitely do it, he was great! I also took the Tabata class with Ginny, and she was upbeat, friendly, and kept the class moving at an excellent pace. I was definitely sore the next day! I very much look forward to my next trip to visit my daughter and will VERY definitely be returning, and will VERY happily pay for a guest pass!

Each employee of the gym has been welcoming to both my sister and I since we have started going. 'Child Watch' (childcare) is also provided during most morning classes but you must check the class schedule that is posted on the gyms website to make sure. Childcare is $5.00/class (classes are usually between 45 mins-1hr) and you can only pay with cash. We have also found that the instructors and staff who work during the afternoon/evening are much more knowledgable of the front desk and are more welcoming to people of all fitness levels compared to the morning instructors. For new members the gym offers your first two classes free and then gives you the introductory rate of 5 classes for $25.00 (originally $50.00). If you decide to do a monthly membership then it is $60.00/month but if you're like me and prefer a certain class once a week and don't really care to go more than that, you can pay $10.00/class. Overall, it's a nice gym and the two free classes are a huge perk. If you live in the area then it's worth at least checking out.

The women's locker room is always tidy, the indoor pool is clear and doesn't smell like mold, the outdoor pool is like a spa. I love the layout of the fitness floor and how open it is. Yes it gets crowded but you should expect that at any gym during certain times. What really gets 5 starts though is the kids academy. The whole staff there is really awesome. They take care of kids like their own. I feel safe and confident leaving my little ones there while I exercise.

It left me wondering whether this type of behavior is addressed or tolerated by the company. Employees represent the organizations they work for, and conduct like this reflects poorly on the brand. It raises concerns about the professionalism, and standards of the gym. It also makes me wonder...if somone is comfortable publicy criticizing local businesses, how are members treated if they have a disagreement or decide to cancel their membership after a year or two? That uncertainly alone would make me think twice. Based on what I've seen, I would not feel comfortable becoming a member and would not recommend it.

Several trainers (Steve) were verbally harassing to me and others which was reported to the Assistant Manager (Mary) who did nothing to remedy the issue, so I terminated my membership. Most trainers are fine and helpful (Jerry, Jervey, Andrew) but others just want to leave early. Equipment is mostly antiquated, hours are horrible and some trainers act like bad cops who overreach their authority. YMCA and Health Quest are much better options with better equipment, amenities, longer hours and management and trainers that care. Worst experience and would warn others to stay away from this Bizarro Gym, where the voice of the customer is never heard.

The clasps holding the weights onto the bar loosen fall off and are dangerous. This facility is managed with a 'blame the customer' mentality. On the plus side they recently fixed the fans in the room after over 10 months broken.
