I just had my private bachelorette party at Sweat Like A Girl this past weekend and we all had the…read moretime of our lives! Heather hosted our party and she such a fun instructor. We were taught an array of moves on the pole and then moved onto a full chair dance routine. The women in our party ranged in age from their early 20's to late 50's -- and everyone had a blast! I can't say enough good things about our experience. As for the regular classes, I took a class here about a year ago and really enjoyed myself. Unfortunately, I don't live in the area or else Sweat Like A Girl would be my full-time workout studio.

I attended my first class at Sweat Like A Girl about two years ago. I was still pretty new to…read moreexercise with a ton of weight to lose, and very little idea where to get started. I quickly became tired of the elliptical, tired of the treadmill, and the only thing I knew for sure was that if my workouts continued to feel like chores, I'd never stick with them. I tried the Fight Club class after checking out classes at a few other gyms, and I was instantly hooked. It was first time I realized I could have a good time working out. It took me a while to try out some of the other classes, but now, SuperGirl is my favorite. It's always something different, but consistently keeps me working hard. But the really surprising thing was, it didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Heather, the owner of the gym who also happens to be the main instructor for many classes, is equally a motivator, an entertainer, and a hardcore fitness instructor. I start out each class feeling scared for the intensity i know is about to be inflicted upon my body, and psyched, in the same was anybody is before they are about to do something they know is going to be completely fun and rewarding. Any class with Heather usually includes a stand-up routine at no extra charge. And not surprisingly, smiling and laughing a lot while you're sweating like crazy, definitely takes the pressure off. Actually, all the instructors are pretty cool, care about your success, and will give you a great workout. I've met a lot of people at this gym, and the pervasive attitude is one of support, non-judgement, and willingness to help each other out. The whole environment is pretty cool, and rare. There's something for everybody, whether your idea of fitness involves flipping tires, interval training, running, dancing, pole, or kicking and punching. And the price is definitely right.

They have a separate LIT area where they offer yoga, body pump, dance sweat and Pilates classes. They smartly located a bit off the beaten path but super convenient to get to from all the surrounding neighborhoods in central bucks county so your membership fee isn't going to pay for rent in an expensive shopping center. This place is a "diamond in the rough". Finally, you will see your neighbors and friends here and if you don't know anyone you will quickly be welcomed into the Bria community. No pretentiousness... just normal people trying to optimize their fitness. Give it a try you won't be sorry.

Literally made a yelp account just to share my frustrations about this gym…read more Wish I could give it more because it's so conveniently located. But that's about all I can really put in the pro category. I'll break it down super simple: - Whatever you do, DO NOT sign the year long contract. It's the one thing the owner put time and effort into (because it's definitely not towards the upkeep of the facility). - Not female-friendly!!! - The equipment is dirty. - A lot of things especially in the cardio section are broken / janky. - The positioning of the cardio equipment is weird as hell, unsure why we have our backs/butts facing the gym. Just makes me so uncomfortable. - Majority of the wipe bins are empty mid way through the day, I have no idea what the staff is doing apart from just chilling at the front desk. - College gyms & basement gyms are better in regards to quality. They could do so much better, there is a lot of potential! You are NOT getting what you pay for unfortunately.

Certain times of the day this place is swamped but I have also been in where it's been quite quiet. Depending on my mood, both atmospheres are cool. This is definitely a no-nonsense type of place where you can just pop in your headphones and get to work. There is a smoothie bar as well as some RTD protein and energy options as well. My favorite barber has his studio right inside the gym. No added fee's or maintenance things that you get from other gym's in the area, and the monthly price is right in line for the best in the area.
