I haven't been to this boutique in a while, so I thought I'd stop in while on my lunch break. When I walked in, there were only two girls in the store- one behind the counter and one next to her, talking to each other. Neither one looked up and greeted me, and as I looked around in the store, they kept talking to each other and not once asked if I needed something. I have worked in retail before, and rule #1 is you greet the customer. I'd understand if they were busy but I was literally the only customer in the store. After taking a look around at their overpriced (and if I'm being honest, mostly tacky) clothes, I decided to leave. Didn't even get a "goodbye" or "thanks for coming in". Nothing. I have been coming to this store for years and never had an experience like this- everyone working there was always so friendly. Just found out that the owner, Victoria, sold this store in the fall. That explains a lot. There are loads of cute boutiques in this area where the employees are actually friendly and the clothese are really cute. I will take my business there. read more

Overpriced! No longer give teacher discounts! What happen to the range of pricing and giving back to the community where we all know helping teacher's receive a discount is most appreciated and needed. Shame on the newer owners. Bring back the old owner, the old sales ladies who cared and hours that are more custimer friendly. read more

An upscale women's boutique selling your eclectic and different clothing to let you stand out. I was greeted upon entering but that was the last of the customer service. Staff seem preoccupied. There were cute clothes and accessories. I didn't find anything that spoke to me though. Shared parking lot. read more

I've always loved this boutique. Even though it's a a bit on the pricier side, I can usually find unique items. That being said, if I'm going to spend more, I expect quality. I purchased a bracelet that broke after the first wear. I tried to return it and the manager only allowed a gift card in return. I find that incredibly unfortunate. Especially since I am a repeat customer. I would've expected them allow me to return it, as there were no other items I needed at that time. read more

My newly turned 12 yo daughter and I saw a perfect dress for summer in their window display. We went in and asked for the dress in her size. We were wearing clothes the sales ladies found disagreeable for their high end boutique. I also had my Service Dog with me as I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran. She (service dog) was a bit unsettled which usually happens when I need to take my medication. I had left it at home. The women with straight dark hair with grey made sure to say that the dress set was very expensive. She told us the price of the item and then remarked THAT is just for the top and not the skirt. I replied that is fine. She replied that the SAME outfit could be found at TARGET. My daughter came to me and asked why she kept getting her clothes that were too small. Then the women approached with a cute dress and announced it was ONLY $90 as if maybe it would be more affordable for someone like myself. My daughter tried it on and liked it. I was reminded again about Target. I pointed to a lovely crew neck, light weight summer event ankle length dress. It was perfect because only her arms would be exposed. The women literally said "I have this dress and it isn't appropriate for someone her age." My daughter picked out a necklace as well. We paid for the items and were told...If you want to return these they will have to be in the exact same condition with tags on. Followed by yet another reminder that all the items in her boutique could be found at TARGET . I haven't taken the items out of the bag yet. My daughter wants to wear the the blue and white Mykonos 2 piece dress but I am contemplating returning everything. What to do? Keep the items because she loves them or return them to make a point? read more

I seldom go into muse and leave without something in hand. They're one of my favorite boutiques! If I ever need a new dress or fit for an event, muse is my go to! Victoria is a doll! The customer service is incredible. Dresses, jewelry, house nick nacks! They got it all! read more

I was having a really horrendous day and went into the shop to look around. The lady working was so kind and sweet! I believe she was a manager or possibly the owner. She totally brightened my day! Bought a new t-shirt and was very happy I purchased from a small business rather than a big store. Overall great experience and so thankful for the kindness of that worker today! read more

Unlike many other women, I don't enjoy shopping and never go to boutiques. While on a date night, my husband suggested we stop at Muse to look around. What a nice experience! The ladies who were working (Janae, Kris, and Maryanna) made us feel welcome and helped me find some super cute, flattering items for my body type. Our experience at nearby Franseca's was not nearly as pleasant (we weren't acknowledged when we walked in and someone immediately after us was), which made Muse my favorite go to local boutique (when I do shop). I was bound and determined to support local this season. I went to Uptown Plaza looking for gifts for my children. I let the sales associate know from the beginning that these were gifts and even two were for daughters that lived out of state. Nashe had the opportunity to let me know at that point about their return policy-No returns! Store Credit Only. I spent over $300. After some thought, I decided to return the items for another idea I had for them. I came back to the store and that's when they tell me their policy. She points to the mirror behind her where there is a small sign and then tells me it's on the receipt as well. What good is a return policy in a receipt??? I won't be back to Muse. read more

Another cute shop in Uptown Plaza. Small space but had a lot to choose from. Kind of bohemian which isn't necessarily my style, but lots of cute choices. The woman working was friendly. I'll be back to see what they have new for spring. read more

One thing I value about Muse is that they have a more eclectic selection than most larger stores. I like their clothing and jewelry a lot. I find clothes shopping overwhelming and the boutique-ish environment at Muse makes the experience much more tolerable than when I shop at a department store. Emily and Abby were extremely helpful when I was there my first time. When I returned for a second visit Janae was a doll and very personable. I'll be back! read more

Hands down the best boutique in Phoenix!! I have purchased tons of staple pieces here. Just today I had an issue with a dress I bought last month and they were fantastic and made it right! They are also super kid friendly which makes shopping with the kids easy for a change. If you are near or far, you need to stop here. read more

I have been to Muse now a handful of times and on at least three occasions, I have bought clothing. While I really like their clothes and appreciate the fact that they have different price points to appeal to a variety of shoppers, I am not, at all, impressed by their customer service. I have been in the store w/o a hello from anyone. I have also been there (quite recently) with one hello from one person and no eye contact or hello from the other two individuals who were working there. Nobody asked me if I needed help, etc. I sometimes get the feeling ( I could be imagining it) that since I am older and the store appeals to a younger crowd, that I am not a preferred customer, even though I buy their clothes. I routinely see the sales help friendly and talking to some customers; I get the impression if they do not know you or you are not part of the "in-crowd" in their minds, you are not effectively greeted and take care of. I can buy my clothes from anywhere I'd like, so I will go elsewhere from now on. I appreciate being appreciated! read more

Wanted to start this review off with a hit by saying I loved the staff that work here. I came in frantically looking for an outfit to wear for thanksgiving and they helped me pick out a few outfits to try on that fit best for my body type. Not only did they do this but they also handed me different size options while I was trying on to see what I liked best. I will definitely be coming in for all my holiday needs now! I am a plus size girl. I went to Muse to look around and see what they had. Immediately, the person working there told me there was nothing in my size and rolled her eyes. I kinda guessed they wouldn't but I still wanted to look around. The whole time I was in there, the employee was rude to me and kept redirecting me to the bags and jewelry. read more

I absolutely love this boutique! I used to work close by that is how I discovered it. The have the cutest pieces that are very trendy. I always enjoy coming in here. Recently they did a donation gift tree for Christmas! I wasn't able to make it in to pull a card and I saw them post about it on Instagram. I direct messaged them and they pulled a card for me. Unfortunately I couldn't make it in on the day they were due. I sent them a message on Instagram again because I wanted to make sure it wasn't an issue, the person replied fast and said it was perfectly fine. The day after 12/07 I was able to drop it off, I brought my friends and her sister (it was my friends birthday) the sweet lady working said it was totally okay and they would make sure it got to the family. We did some shopping in there as my friends hadn't been in. I was curious about a pair of shoes and asked if they had my size the older lady working said let me check while the sweet lady said she could too. The older lady rudely told her I can handle it very loudly for all the customers in the store too hear. I am in the retail industry as well and my friends and I all thought the way she spoke to her was rude and degrading. Once we were ready to check out the older lady was asking why we were in and I explained the Christmas donation and she tells me that they came yesterday and she doesn't know if the organization would pick it up or accept it. Again very rude, unprofessional, and unnecessary as I was donating gifts to a family for Christmas. I thought the older lady's behavior the entire time we were there was unprofessional degrading and unwelcoming. I really felt sorry for the girl working with her that night, we came in around 5pm. I am not letting that one experience with the mean grumpy old lady ruin my perception of this store but I do think it is necessary that the way she interacts with coworkers and customers be addressed to better the store.
