Loved this place! Went here for the first time today with my boyfriend and his sister, we all got different lattes and all loved our drinks. Cassidy (I think that's her name, sorry if I misspelled!) had great energy and was so patient in answering all questions we had about their coffee, their products, made recommendations for us, and just made us feel very welcome. Unlike a lot of coffee shops in Jersey, Muse makes many of their own syrups which helps differentiate the flavor and quality of their lattes. Will definitely be coming back again! read more

In a town full of chain store coffee places Muse is an amazing find. The coffee is all high end and I'm obsessed with the Kyoto ice coffee. Who else is making Japanese style ice coffee in NJ? The coffee is absolutely delicious. I used to walk by all the time and one day decided to go in .. got the vanilla cinnamon latte and it was SO GOOD. They told me they make their own vanilla cinnamon "syrup" and it is absolutely delicious. I have been many times since and each and every time I am greeted by a really kind barista (and the owners!) and a tasty coffee. Looking forward to trying their upcoming seasonal menus. One of the cutest cafes in Lyndhurst. The decor is modern and minimalistic. Super relaxing, cozy and comfortable when you walk in. The perfect chill spot to study and do work. The owners are super sweet and kind. Everything on the menu is self explanatory and you can go into depth with how the coffee tastes or the teas. They break them down easily for you to help you choose the perfect drink for your tastebuds. I was able to taste their cold brew almond with their house blend. This was my first time going to Muse Coffee and I was definitely satisfied with the product. The atmosphere is very calming with lights dim enough to make you relax and feel at home. There is indoor seating available which is nice as well as street parking. Although their menu is rather small, they offer quality items. I ordered the Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. I thoroughly enjoyed this latte and wanted to go back for more! My friend ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. The downside is that the matcha lacked in flavor. It didn't really taste like matcha, it tasted more like oat milk (hence the 4 stars) It wasn't terrible. I think next time we would try a different milk option with it just to see. They also have a few flavored banana puddings that I will go back to try. As for staff, there was only one barista working at the time I went in and he was lovely. He was very patient as we ordered since it was our first time and made our drinks with confidence and care. My new go-to coffee shop. And it's about time Lyndhurst has an amazing coffee shop. Where was this 10 years ago? I love the way their coffee tastes, it just tastes different from others. I always get their espresso. Anything on their menu is quite good! They also have a point system that can eventually earn you a free drink! I also love the aesthetic to the place, very pleasing to the eye, very clean, cozy, and modern. I believe they also host some music/poetry kind of nights which is nice! The baristas are extremely helpful, they know what they're talking about when it comes to coffee and their grades. ALSO, this place sells Jersey City's Baonanas (banana pudding) AND Who's pastries which is a huge plus because now I don't have to travel all the way to JC and in traffic just to get these treats. read more

They make wonderful pour overs and seasonal sweet drinks, and they sell excellent beans. They play good music, too. Don't sleep on Muse - a shop this good is uncommon. If you wanna see what can be done with good beans, Muse presents a great opportunity to do so. The baristas are super nice and personable, they always greet me like they've known me forever. The coffee is such high quality, their espresso literally gives you wings! Stopped here right after the library because I was always curious to try the coffee and I was in need of one. They sell Baonanas which is great since I don't have to go to downtown JC to get it. Thrilled to see this coffee shop pop up! My boyfriend and I recently moved back from San Diego where it's saturated with amazing local coffee shops. We've been waiting for NJ to step it up and MUSE absolutely knocks it out of the park!!! It's everything that we love and look for in a coffee shop: well brewed drip coffee, stellar cold brew, solid vibes for doing work, great wifi (and plugs) and down to earth friendly staff.
